If you still haven't done that, find someone who studies or recently graduated from that university and ask them about how things there are different from where you study right now. They also can point out possible drawbacks that are not widely known. The more information you have about that place, the lesser is the probability that you'll regret your decision. It may be a good idea to find people from there on different social media and ask around. Don't fully rely on what the official sources are saying, they are often not telling full truths to get more students. Also, if you're planning to apply for a higher level degree after you graduate, then another possible way of action would be getting you current degree where you study right now and then transfer to that university. Though note that if the quality of education is much higher there, then it might be tricky.

It depends. Usually I prefer to at least finish all routes. If I like a vn, I will most likely try to reach all its endings and get all non-h CGs. Though in some cases, when I really don't feel like reading some routes, I just skip them (though it only happened twice, from what I remember right now, and I rated both vns below 5/10, so maybe I should consider these vns dropped rather than finished ).

Ah, sorry then. Yeah, it's a feature of the game: after you beat the Rin's route, in the later playthroughs she won't panic in the mini-game. Well, if beating the mini-game is that important for you, I may suggest deleting your current saves and starting the game from a scratch. On your second playthrough, just leave her route for later. Actually, after you beat some other route at least once (not Rin's), Kengo will join the team on the next playthrough, so after that the game should become a bit easier. Though deleting your saves will mean that you won't be able to use the skip feature in the common route, so normally I wouldn't recommend that.

And, no, you won't find an editor made specifically for this game unless you make one yourself. I'm pretty sure most people who play it don't care about it enough to bother about making one.

Well, I understand why somebody would want to do that for the fun of it, but just beating the mini-game regularly would be much easier, you know? And I'm 99% sure that editor you're describing doesn't exist.

Actually, it's always a good thing to do. I try to do the same thing, but sometimes I fail. In case of G-senjou, it went more like this: I didn't particularly like many things people like about this VN, and at the same time the flaws were at places where it actually mattered to me. At the same time, I was starting to burn out about VNs at that time, and my real-life situation back then was actually pretty terrible. These factors combined together, and I didn't like this VN. Well, stuff this happens. I think, almost every VN reader has at least one popular VN they didn't enjoy. Great pick, by the way! Just don't be spoiled, for this particular VN it actually matters, a lot! And spoilers are basically everywhere. By the way, I remember using some patches that used slightly improved version of the translation and fixed some errors. And I remember there were some problems running this game on the latest versions of Windows, so good luck with that.

I fully depends on you personal preferences, I think. I personally wouldn't mind if more eroge treated their h-scenes as something more than simple fanservice. And more variety would never hurt anyway.

Actually, I can't comment on that since I'm doing exactly the same thing. Well, I've seen some criticism regarding the existing translation, and official translations tend to be better anyway, and since it's most likely going to be out pretty soon, why shouldn't we wait for it? I noticed a thing about G-senjou: practically every person who reads it agrees that this VN has a lot of flaws and a lot of great parts, but which of these two factors outweigh in the end heavily depends on each person's tastes and reading habits. PS. Sorry, I wanted to make this comment more in-depth, but I'm a bit tired right now.

Well, the situation in Clannad is not exactly the same, but it seems somewhat similar thematically. There the protagonist starts more or less as human trash, but later, through his interactions with the heroines, he finds motivation to help them with their problems. I only watched the anime and read one and a half routes of the VN, but I think it's pretty good (though extremely long, and that's really not a good thing in this case).
