  1. Quote from Christine Love from an Interview: "I love a good sex scene … if it actually makes sense for character development, if it’s to express emotions. I think those are great. It’s a great way to get into the heads of two people. But, if you can remove it and the story makes just as much sense … . Really, I think that goes for any element of the story. If you can remove it and the story makes sense, why was that element there, it’s just especially funny when it’s sex scenes." Full Interview here: http://borderhouseblog.com/?p=10977 Pretty much spot on, if you ask me.
  2. The part about the change in the ending that you mention, are you talking about I read up on the Ein ending of the visual novel on wikipedia and it didn't mention anything about what I marked as spoilers. Is the wikipedia entry just incomplete or did the Visual Novel not have that? Was that just randomly added when they made the anime?
  3. I didn't say I like her, but she is the only one from all the characters that I didn't just want to flat out punch in the face.
  4. Except for Asuka, yes. SO much YES. As for my own input: Kirino from Oreimo. She is, in my opinion, the prime example of what I hate in tsundere characters. A good tsundere character should have equal amount, or at least a good balance between tsun and dere and not be 1% evil, 99% hot air, I mean 1% dere, 99% tsun.
  5. Most overrated anime that has ever and will ever exist: Neon Genesis Evangelion
  6. Just bought the Humble Bundle and have two keys for Medal of Honor (Steam and Origin), one for Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (Origin) and one for Crysis 2 Maximum Edition (Origin) left. If someone is interested, throw me a message. Also, only one game per person. B)
  7. With the descriptions for the achievements "The Death of Old *Mute", "Don't create a TIME PARADOX!" and "Cooking by the Book", as well as the whole "jerkface" thing, I would not be surprised in the least. Gonna follow the steam forums.
  8. Yeah, screw what I said here. Waiting for 12 hours in between in-game days is just annoying. I'm "jerkfacing" now as well. On the third day of *Mute's Route,
  9. If you want, you can always download the Demo for Analogue on Steam and see if the story is to your liking. But be warned: The Demo stops at a cliffhanger.
  10. Hate Plus came out on Steam yesterday and I picked it up immediately, since I loved Analogue: A Hate Story. Heroine wise, I preferred *Mute over *Hyun-ae, so when I heard Analogue was getting a sequel that focuses *Mute's backstory, I was already sold. Played the first in-game day and I like the changes they made to the system. . As I already said, I loved the first game! The writing is excellent, the pacing perfect and the subject matter is interesting and most importantly, it's serious. Sure, *Mute and *Hyun-ae both have their funny moments, but the game has some really good twists and turns and some really dark moments, on which I am going to hold my tongue, if you know what I mean!^^ What is your opinion on Analogue and Hate Plus?
  11. Thank you very much, downloading the game right now!
  12. I hope there is no need to mark anything about the OVA as spoilers, since the title already says so. Anyway, I really don't like what the OVA did. I found a big part of the story and the humor was the innuendo of incest. Like the author saying: "I'm gonna go the incest route, hehe, watch me do it!" To which the viewer, or at least me, responds: "NOOOO, don't do it, please don't go there!!" After that the author just laughs in the viewers face going: "Nah, just kidding, LOL, you fell for it OLOLOL!" And in the end, he does and doesn't. That's the worst part of the whole OVA in my opinion. First Kyousuke shoots all the other, more likeable, girls down and settles for the annoying tsundere, which I really don't approve of. However, when the OVA hit the marriage part, I was actually starting to get interested where the author was going to go with this, since the whole setup with the church and kirino's wedding dress showed, that they weren't just fooling around! But, moments later, kirino says: "Let's end it here, as we promised." So, instead of sticking to his guns and writing a story about incest, something very controversial, the author just hightails out! Like, what the F. How can you have kyousuke reject all the other girls, settle for the tsundere in an incest relationship, only to then jump ship?! If your gonna have kyousuke reject everyone for kirino, then AT LEAST stick to it. But no, nothing happens and they just go back to the status quo.
