  1. EDIT 2: The problem has been fixed. (That took like, 12 hours. They work fast!) EDIT: For anyone else in the same situation, I just got a reply from MangaGamer; ( To sum up, they are working on it and we just have to wait for them to fix it. ) " Hello Andreas. Thank you very much for contacting us. We are currently experiencing some technical issues with our website. Management has been made aware of the issue, and the problem is currently being identified and corrected by our website development team. We do not yet have an ETA for when the issue will be resolved, but we will email you immediately once the website is fully operational. We greatly apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Best Regards, MangaGamer Staff" Uh, actually I know there already is a thread asking basically the same thing as me, but I'm making a new one because I have one more question that wasnt answered in that thread. Anyways, on with the questions: So I went to buy a new VN on MangaGamer today, but after the purchase my account page is suddenly ... glitched or something. I can no longer manage and download my games. The page says that they are there, but I cant see them or download them. I've sent an email to their support mail, does anyone know generally how long it takes for them to reply? (This is how my account page looks): (Basically, its blank. It says the products are there, but I cant see them anymore.) Does anyone know a way to fix this? I couldnt find any information about it on their support site, and I cant make an accuount on their forum to ask a question untill a moderator accepts my account creation (kind of a dumb system if you ask me.)
  2. No no, of course not. That was not what I mean either. What I mean that in the case of this thread, the "censorship" in question was the removal of H-Content. It seemed like someone were confused with the use of the word "uncensored" when the game still has mosaics. Of course mosaic censorship … well it is censorship. But when the original version, uncut, is released like that, technically you can't really call that censored, as it wasn't intended to be released without the mosaics in the first place due to Japanese laws making them add those. Basically, the game is considered the "uncensored" version even though it has mosaics, as thats how it was originally released. Like CryingWestern pointed out above, it is required to censor H-Scenes with mosaics in Japanese visual novels, and so by that logic, that version is the original.
  3. The one where the girl is in the wheelchair and they build that plane (sorry) "If my heart had wings", or Kono oozora ni, tsubasa o hirogete As for recommendations, I´d say Clannad would probably fit your request. I haven't actually played it myself, but it seems to be one of the most popular romances, and its releasing with an official translation from Sekai Project at November 23rd, so in just a few days. I´d also say Nekopara vol.1 might work. No real plot, just silly and cute romance in it, and its available on steam (can install restoration patch) or uncut version over @ Denpasoft.
  4. Whoa! You should play the bad endings. No need to re-play it, just go back to the last choice and choose the other option. The bad endings are rather short, and worth it. Amane´s route actually has plot that you dont get to see unless you play the bad ending. Yumiko´s has a … rather special case as well for the "bad" ending. Sachi, Michiru and Makina will just leave you emotionally damaged though. No real need to play those unless you want to be emotionally damaged I guess.
  5. This is not it being censored, this is Japanese laws. Completely different. Censored in this case means the H-Scenes are literally not there. They are removed. If we are going by the literal definition of the word, content being removed from the game in order to not show a part of it to a certain audience is censorship. And so, it is censored. The mosaics however, are usually, (not all the time), added to H-Scenes due to Japanese laws when releasing H-content. And seeing as that then means its the original version of the game, nothing has in fact been censored.
  6. Much better articulated than my comment, thank you Going back to the main thread topic, my favorite route is torn between Michiru and Amane. Michirus was better overall, but Amane had some points that just had me literally glued to the screen. Then again, Michiru´s made me cry like a baby. Guess its a tie. Then the other three are in close second. All the routes were amazing. There are people who say they dont like Yumiko´s route. I really dont get that at all. Her route is awesome.
  7. Think I´d have to say Michiru from Grisaia no Kajitsu. Also, both Haruka and Sion from Eden*. Love how their personalities and priorities change throughout the story.
  8. Thanks for the suggestions. Oh I completely forgot but I have played Katahane. (Loved it!!) I´ll update the original post to change that.
  9. I have a lot of heavy and long VNs lined up now, and so I figured it would be good to have something light to play once in a while to take a small break from all the psychological stuff. I´m looking for light Yuri romances. Slice of life romance stuff would be the best, though something with some light story aspects is fine. Nothing too heavy though. (if there even is a heavy Yuri VN out there.) It doesn't necessarily have to be short; I can just play it a little bit at a time. So far the only Yuri games I´ve played is : Sono hanabira ni kuchizuke o 1 and 6, (The Nanami x Yuuna ones.) and Katahane. (So NOT 1 TO 6, but only 1 and 6, which is the Nanami and yuuna storyline.) Preferably something translated, though thats not required. Thanks!
  10. Haha, yeah. I realize if I was to binch read this entire list I´d probably end up emotionally scarred for life. Thanks for all the recommendations. Seems like G-Senjo No Maou is a good place to start.
  11. So to sum up this though… If I am to play the original first, then play the new version when it comes out, I get the original H-Scenes and the new CG and events. The only casualties are my wallet and free time! xD
  12. Yeah I did donate to the kickstarter actually. Kind of want the new version if I´m going to play it, so G-Senjou no Maou is what I´m going with. Completely forgot that when I made the list xD Think its gonna be G-Senjou no Maou - Planetarian - Clannad and then we´ll see after that. Awesome to hear that Muv-luv is that good though. Kind of donated on a whim. Wasn't really sure if it was going to be good or not. Going by your comment I won't regret it! The kickstarter version is going to be the ps3 version, which is all-ages thus heavily censored, I recommend reading the original version. For me its my only perfect 10, its broke me to pieces, took me on an emotional roller coaster and made me stand up out of my chair, go outside and contemplate life quite a few times. (I still donated to the kickstarter tho.) Ahh right. Ok. That darn censor-kun. thanks for letting me know. Think I´ll def read the originals then. I´ll be sure to dive into that during a vacation, so I have time to enjoy it. 100+ hours is a lot. But it sounds like its worth it!

  14. Yeah thats true. Damn, really sold that one. Sounds awesome. Question, should I get the RAW and install the translation patch, or is the steam version fine? Think I heard there were some problems with the steam release somewhere. EDIT: Yeah that was the thread on this forum about the CG being cropped... RAW it is.
  15. So here is the list of VN´s I have been recommended, and I´m torn. Which one should I start reading first? Kind of a big jumble of different genres and I´ve heard they are all amazing so I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions? Prefer if you give a short reason as to why you think that one is the one I should pick first Clannad Chaos;Head G-Senjou no Maou Kara no Shoujo Planetarian Rewrite Muv-Luv
  16. Looks awesome! Just got it. ;D Catgirls!!!
  17. My cousin got me Grisaia no Kajitsu and said "You HAVE to play this!" Aaaand yeah, that´s basically all it took. In retrospect it wasn't exactly the lightest novel to start with, but its still my favorite. Though I was so depressed when I got the bad Makina ending. I wasn't quite sure how it worked then, so I thought that was the like, "real" ending. I was totally depressed a while afterwards.
  18. Thank you very much. Yeah I think my biggest problem has been that I got used to getting physical editions, and started looking for those. I have no problem with digital editions, so I´ll try to look for that instead. I really don't like using proxies after my friends ISP blocked him for using one. I actually haven't tried the Japanese version of DLsite. I´ll give that a go. Appriciate the fast reply. By proxy I mean using a middleman to order the physical product for you, not an internet proxy. Ahh of course, hehe, my bad. Well I´ll look into those sites for some digital copies, thanks again for the links and info.

  20. So basically, so far I´ve been getting my VNs from either DLsite, Denpasoft / steam etc. for translations, and then the rest, for RAWs, has been bought in Japan by my cousin who goes there fairly frequently. But recently he got a new job so he does´t go there nearly as often, and I´m left with what feels like a fairly limited market for VNs, especially when it comes to RAWs. I know most sites I´ve visited usually won't sell their game to foreigners, so you have to order it in from some 3rd party in Japan and have it shipped over to you, which makes it extremely expensive. There has been like one site that had the option for a digital download that you could supposedly could buy from Europe, but there I encountered some problems with using a foreign credit card on the site not working. Basically, to get to the point: Is there any site or option that I´ve missed that is available for foreigners that allows us to buy RAWs without having to pay 4-5x the price? I´m not really in a rush to get any new VNs at the moment; I already have a couple I´m reading and got quite a few good recommendations that I´m looking into getting as well but… I figured for the future it would be good to know. Any site for translated works and such that I haven't mentioned is also appreciated. I had a list somewhere with a bunch but a hardrive crash claimed its life. Thanks a bunch in advance!
  21. Wow this really surprised me … I´ve gotten such good impression of Sekai Project. I had no idea they, or even just people affiliated with them, would sink this low. The cropping itself, alright, maybe a little sloppy; I´m sure they had their reasons for it, but the unprofessional behavior though… Damn. This really sucks.
  22. Ahaha, I´m kind of ashamed to say I have like 20 hours + in this game at least xD Found it extremely entertaining. Mainly because I got completely addicted to the puzzles and the completely idiotic interactions and writing. There is actually a lot of hidden content that you can spend half your life unlocking, and then there is an alpha mode at the end that is like, seriously difficult. Although the game is… Well, stupid, its actually very entertaining. (God, did I just recommend this game to people? … *facepalm*)
  23. かわいい! Thank you very much Appreciate it. Thanks for the warm welcome and the recommendations everyone!
  24. Thanks ;D I have not, so thanks for the recommendation! Currently reading Eden*, loving it so far. I´ll look into it after I´m done!
