I thought Princess X was gonna be a nice change of pace.
A chance to collect some momusu waifus.
I was wrong and so wrong.
The protagonist is an  unlikable boob. Sevierly rasist and just rapes all the monster girls. I like to think I can deal with a lot of fetishes. But it;s not even the kind of rape you see in something like Rance. He just wants them to suffer. Most of the endings are bad endings. 1 of the heroes has an only netorare ending. Some of the heroines are tortured just for the sake of it. 
Why, why didn't I read the fucking tags.
I got tricked by the monster girl boobies.
You can still save yourself...........

So, I finally finished Subahibi. And, well, it was a weird ending. I can't say I really understand what happened there, so I'll definitely need to reread some key moments of the VN.
Overall, Subahibi definitely delivered on its hype. I need to let my thoughts and emotions settle for some time, but  so far I'm pretty sure it's really the best VN I've read to this day.

I don't think so. Dies Irae, Eden*, Tokyo Babel are still listed as untranslated, though they have been translated a while ago. 
 
I personally recommend those in this list, because they are really good. In addition, Fata morgana no Yakata and Umineko no Naku Koro ni

Fata Morgana. If you consider Umineko to have the best story, then I suspect that Fata will sit very well with you. It's core narrative is very different from Umineko but the tone is quite similar and if you go into it and keep yourself from constantly comparing the two then I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Fate is a great visual novel, Grisaia "just" a very good one (a little overhyped imho). So, I'd say Fate, unless you like Grisaia's genre more.

I'd go Fate.
Then wait until the 18+ release of the Grisaia no Rakuen before starting, so you can finish reading. Bec Grisaia no Meikyuu cliffhanger made me lose sleep.

Hey guys!
I was a member that got swallowed up by college lectures and stuff that I wasn't able to come here anymore for a few years (which was very sad). I still played some VNs though, but my playthroughs were few and far in between.
Now that I have graduated and slowly settling in my work environment, I got some free time now. So I decided to return to this community that made me love VNs.
With my free time I (finally) finished Fate/Stay Night and currently starting on Da Capo 3. I was very happy to finally see DC3 after waiting for a long time. But sad as well since I remember Aaeru and the C&D on it way back.
Also, seems like a lot has changed in the forums and the community. The previous green background is now suddenly all purpley. I don't know if the people I knew before are still here, but I hope the community is as accomodating as it was before.
Anyways, I'm very glad to be back.

The first part isn't as unreasonably long as it feels- I finished it in a day. Just soldier through, by the end of Zakuro's route it becomes pretty damned interesting. I found that the Kagami and Tsukasa routes in Down the Rabbit Hole I to be pretty unnecessary, but its your call as to whether you should play them (they are pretty short). As for whether there is anything relevant to pay attention to, I'll let someone else answer... Nothing before the amusement park scene on Zakuro route did anything for me personally, but I've heard arguments that there's value to be found there. I will say that it's worth sitting through. Even in the event that you do not find Subahibi to be The Best Thing Ever(TM), it does a lot of things really well and stays consistently interesting.

Yeah, Subahibi is uh.. quite the experience.
Down the Rabbit Hole I, especially nearing the end of it was the kind of writing/storytelling I really enjoy. Beautiful, inspiring and encouraging to explore oneself, at least for me. It's been a while since anything has inspired me to hit the library and start perusing poetry, philosophy and children's fables.
Where as Down the Rabbit Hole II was weird but interesting, It's My Own Invention made me straight up feel physically ill for a good part of it, on top of being generally unsettling. I was so mentally exhausted after that I need to take a break from the whole VN.  
...Which conveniently happened almost exactly when Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth came out. Hurray!
I previously predicted that it could be "BEST SHIT EVER(TM)", and while it's too soon to say how true that is I'm enjoying it immensely. Oh, how I missed to whole cast... Without any spoilers, it's heavier, more serious and tragic, but the lighter parts aren't completely gone. Like people grasp for happiness even in the darkest times, Slice-of-Life has its place in every story. One could even say it shines even brighter in these circumstances.
Utaware3 is pretty much more of the same, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm also really glad the localization has kept it's quality. It's a rare pleasure reading as joyful and lively text.

I'm not otome trash, but even I'm excited about FLML. It just looks like so much fun from the screenshots I've seen (didn't want to spoil myself with the demo.)

Omoi o Sasageru Otome no Melody Translation Project!

Synopsis: 
Misaki is an aspiring pianist studying abroad in Germany, with the dream of someday playing the piano that his late father had built. One day, he received a call from his older sister Shiori who was the music teacher at Lilie Girls’ School. She told him that the lone piano that was entrusted to the school would be donated to the museum at the end of the year and asked him if he would take over as the music teacher while she goes on maternity leave. Presented with the opportunity to fulfill his dream, he decided to accept the position and returned to Japan.
When he arrived at the school, he discovered that only students at the school have the chance of playing the piano, and only if they are selected to perform on it during the school festival. Thus, he must attend as a student while serving as a teacher. Of course, that means that he must dress as a girl. While he was afraid of the consequences if his secret got out, his desire to take advantage of this final chance made for an easy decision. And so begins his new life as a cross-dressing teacher and student.

Hi, I'm flowingcloud, and some of you might of heard of me before. I translate a few novels at Yado Inn and I now want to pick up my first VN project. I love Ensemble games, but no one ever translates them.  I decided to end that trend and translate Ensemble's Omoi o Sasageru Otome no Melody. Also, the girls are really cute! Every person counts in this translation effort!

Disclaimer: I do not know how fast I can translate this novel, so these are just rough estimates for what I want as for a goal. Will be updated when I have better estimates.

Seeing how Dies Irae wasn't quenching my thirst for the #edge, I've decided to pick up Hanachirasu. I was about to just check out the prologue, but that has proven to be a huge mistake... you see, those few scenes before the opening we're all way more exciting and interesting than the entirety of Kasumi's route in Dies.Now this is a super unfair comparison, as I'm essentially putting two opposite approaches to action scenes against each other, but... damn, it only took a  single scene to remind me why I like Narahara so much. The fights feel though out, with actual choreography and logic supporting the flashy coolness, and it's just so damn entertaining to me. I imagine this is extremely subjective, and I bet there are people who hate Narahara's style with a passion - but as soon as he started going into tangents to explain fencing theory, I was sold ten times over.
I'll definitely get back to Dies to check out the story, but as far as action goes Hanachirasu will be my go-to for now.

I definitly would love to see the Fairytale trilogy (Requiem, Encore and Symphony) in english!

Huge props to Liarsoft for demonstrating alot of originality and diversity in their titles as Liarsoft is one of the very few VN dev who don't try to ride the easy mainstream wave and go with school settings, I don't have anything against school settings but when literally 95% of VN have a school or school-ish setting it really start to become monotonous.

I'm stoked for more liar-soft (maybe rail-soft... pls albatross) c'mon mangagamer it's time for fairytale requiem
 
and MONOBENO I can feel it in my lolicon bones (not really, but one can dream)

Byakko would be nice. Especially since there are cameos in SukiSuki.
As for other licenses, the only strong guess I have is another Rance game. Titles I'd like to see from current partners are Amatsutsumi, Sakura no Mori † Dreamers, and Fairytale Requiem. As for a new partner, I'm always hoping that its Saga Planets or August, albeit highly unlikely.
