Is it weird that i probably watched this short clip about 10 or so times?

I am from Brazil and never had such problems (bought a few games from Mangagamer and Denpasoft), but then again, prostitution itself is legal here (but pimping isnt, so our laws tecnically protect freelance prostitutes ) and we really dont care about porn.
Honestly, i feel like people can become way too paranoid with this stuff, the chances of you getting into trouble with this are less than getting yourself involved with a plane crash on a flight travel.
Trust me, there are far "worse" illicit things that also get a free pass within Paraguay (and brazil as well), like smuggling (of all kinds, including PC hardware).

I'm doing QC and here's a little tease on progress of where I'm at.
 

Steamspy has come a long way from its beginnings.
The margin of error now is shown on the site, so you know around how many units the game might have sold.
Thats enough for the purposes we are want here, both their new VN and Ghostlight's new game, Omega Quintet, have had very crappy revenue due to poor publisher reputation.
A Sky Full of Stars sold about 1.345 + or - 1.300 units on Steam, thats a pathetic number, considering even Princess Evangile's fandisc sold about about 1700 + or - 1200 on its first week.
Again, thats a new game versus a fandisc, with the fandisc costing more than double the price.
 
If My Heart Had Wings only sold as much as it did because it was one of the FIRST VNs on Steam + cheap price, alot of people jumped on it back then.

Things are going well. Got an editor onboard, who will start editing soon. We are in the middle of getting him set up with the tools etc at the moment.
 
Progress wise, things aren't moving super fast, but I make sure there is at least some form of progress every week.
I was planning to get a lot more TLing done during my vacation, but I just really needed some personal time to relax and recover from a long year at uni during these first few weeks.
My vacation is long, so I have plenty of time to get more TLing done in the coming months. The progress will hopefully speed up soon.

Picking up on tiniest things that annoy me, blowing them out of proportion and ruining the VN for myself by fixating on them. The greater the hype, the more I do it.

I get super hyped about it and read alot about it (VN or normal game).
Then, usually a day after the fact, i remember a certain Space Marine Psyker's words
"Hope is the first step in the road to disapointment"
Possibly one of the best life lessons a game ever teached me. Expect the worst and you will be suprised on how the small good things will make you happy.
And if it is really shitty... well... you were prepared for it.
After that i usually forget about the game/VN until sporadic outbursts of hype. For example, days ago i was hyped as hell for Princess Evangile's fandisc, but discovered its only 10% translated. Hype died down.

I actually like some of Winter Wolves games. Manly Planet Stronghold, Loren the Amazon Princess and Bionic Heart.
The storywriting is pretty solid.
I didint vote in any of the 3 options, since for the most part, it seems that OELVNs are usually very... very... poor in quality.

MangaGamer occasionally does fandiscs, they did two Shuffle fandiscs, most of the Da Capo Kotori fandiscs, all of the Overdrive fandiscs, and will be doing a Princess Evangile fandisc. I don't know what SP's policy will be, but if enough people buy the original game, maybe they'll consider it.

That is sad to hear, but will all the effort made in this simply be wasted? I hope Steve can release what has already been translated if this is indeed the fate of this project.

Manga Gamer will be releasing Princess Evangile's fandisc this year
And that isnt exactly their first fandisc release, they already did some other stuff (on VNs i didint read, unfortunately).
 
 

Well, with SP releasing the base game this year, maybe support for its fandisc will increase?
That is, if SP wont release the fandisc themselves too.

I am loving this VN, just got past the first route option pop-up, but i am liking everything so far!
 
Btw, are all Pulltop novels like this? Kono Oosora is still my favorite, but this one isnt far behind (and might surpass it by the end of it!)
 
At any rate, i am very grateful to you guys, i only wish there were more translators doing Pulltop novels, some of their other stuff (such as Kanojo to Ore to Koibito to.) looks very intersting, but sadly are japanese only.
