  1. Story doesnt start to pick up properly until the second game. Its a very procedural affair in FC, maybe so in SC also, but the story gets vastly better
  2. This beauty's va: Sakamoto, Maaya. Lovely voice
  3. Lol the vn where men look better than women
  4. Reading Robotics Notes. It's interesting to see the cameo's and stuff connected to the other titles in this. But i can't really praise this games story too much. Both the story and the characters are quite boring, sadly, and full of predictable cliches. Kona is best girl by far though xD
  5. Reading Chaos:Head Hmm, what can i say? As expected the story is awesome and you don't know what the heck is going on. But not in a way that makes you annoyed and want to put it down. In a way that makes you more interested in uncovering what's actually going on here. The VN itself is very unimpressive and the only thing it's got going for it is the story. Characters aren't anything special either. Especially the protagonist. He's a waste of oxygen, plain and simple. His sister is cute though and him being an otaku from hell, i find it strange he doesn't recognize the clearly very cliche little sister traits in her. Anyway, it's a good vn if you're looking for a good plot, and reading it is apparently good groundwork before going into robotics notes for example. I guess.. My previous spoiler is redundant now that i finished the game was a fantastic read and will read it again when noah hits.
  6. Win-Win indeed! I should start getting into gear too
  7. Did you learn japanese by stubbornly reading vn's Adam?
  8. well i didnt get it solely because i don't trust Mangagamer to translate the sequel also. Was gonna buy both the second they announced the second game, but mangagamer is mangagamer.
  9. I'm not sure there are many scary visual novels. There are quite a few freaky ones though. Saya no uta will be the one i recommend the most.
  10. Muv luv alternative chronicles The Day After 3 Well, Age doesn't like their protagonists. Always the same crappy drama of the protagonist being a weak person and wasting a shitton of time on having us read the self-deprecating thoughts they have over, over, over and over again. It never ends. They say they're over it, they promise that they now have goals, but they end up spiraling back to this self-deprecating as if they suffer from dementia or something. First it was Takeru, now it's Hibiki. The story is interesting outside that of course, but at some point this crap is almost all we read.
  11. On the other hand it makes for a great reason to read the vn if you get hooked and want to see the different routes:D
  12. Well Nagisa was the true heroine so they did the right thing overall. An adaptation should always go the true route imo
  13. While its major twists might leave people disappointed, the vn itself was a blast and a half. I was binging it, it was just so entertaining and i had to know what happens next.
  14. They certainly did right by Clannad. Afaik people even praise the adaptation for being very faithful. Was a very emotional ride towards the ending, and some manly tears were definitely shed.
  15. Honestly though, i havent read the VN, only watched the anime. So i dont know how good the delivery is in the vn.
  16. I'd say rewrite ended a bit more on an utsuge note though.
  17. rewrite is somewhat different than the other stuff they've made, but it was still very enjoyable.
  18. One thing is for damn sure. The main scenario of clannad would break even the hardest of men. It stops being petty things after a point. That is actually the case of all key vn's. When the main story kicks in, the gloves are off.
  19. I agree with you partly. It should have followed up with him walking towards sumika or something like that with tears of their reunions in an atmosphere that matches Alternative. Wouldnt break anything as he keeps getting flashes anyway, but it's laughed away. This back to harem "wahooo" stuff was totally uncalled for after alternative and it's heavy focus on his realizations of his feelings for her.
  20. well, he shouldnt have any memories though since he's not a conduit anymore. That would mean all takerous have memories like that or there is one primary takerou and a plethora of secondary ones. How do i know? Well, Kasumi. It would be weird if she could walze in with her memories in all the possible worlds. She followed Takerou
  21. Objectively most eroge's etc are pretty low quality. I mean, just take a look at higher budget vn's with gameplay. Even the VN part of it is much more advanced. For me it's enough though if the story is compelling, but they sure have a cheap feeling to them. Muv Luv Alternative is the one biggest surprise i've ever had. It's quality is through the roof. Now say what you want about the story, they put a lot of dime and love into it.
  22. It is the same takerou. He's subconsciously remembering minor details and remember, he's not a conduit something anymore so he cant pull memories from other worlds, which means that it is his memories. Its a suspension of disbelief thing. You know its him, you know the girls are them, but it doesnt exactly follow the rules of the series. But would it really matter? None of the girls actually seemed to like Takerou much really, just some shoehorned in scenes where the focus was to show that they "love" him, but any day to day interractions etc shows otherwise. Unlimited was better in this way. I think alyernative gave to much growth to the girls, but let Takerout stagnate both professionally and as a person, which is likely a big reason. Another question though: did i read it right? Only the takerou's who didnt choose sumika was pulled into this shit? Thinking sumika then is canon you can argue that unlimited and alyernative are just the longest bad ending in existence since the takerou in the original world who chose sumika was left alone.
  23. Favourite anime would be legend of the galactic heroes or mushishi Manga is Berserk without a shadow of a doubt
