The Art is nice but the rest is just a bit...too average. A positive point ? One of the main characters is voiced by Sugita Tomokazu

Honorable mention to the three villains from G-Senjou no Maou: Gonzou, Maou and [secret]. People brag about Maou, but i thought all three of them were amazing, with [secret] being my personal favorite.

I have never seen the anime. But as a rule, a visual novel is (almost) always a ten/hundred times better than an anime adaptation.

Having said that said, for my final answer, I am waiting for the official release of Rewrite. I have already read the common route + the first minutes of Lucia's Route : it was really excellent. Maximum hype

Having said that, the first is a cute musical Slice of Life and the second is a bittersweet romance (with a drop of fantasy).
11eyes -Tsumi to Batsu to Aganai no Shoujo- : A cool chuuni VN with a great route system and a very interesting scenario.
Yume Miru Kusuri : Without this underestimated treasure, I would not be there. it was one of my first visual novels. With Steins;Gate, It was one of those who made me love the genre

Playing Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition (Nintendo Switch). The game has not aged badly and the additional content (scenes, skits, costumes, characters) is well integrated
And Yuri, Judith and Raven are so great (a divine trinity) -

The worst of 2018 ? Maybe Tropical Liquor. The puzzle part sucks, the date part sucks, the VN part sucks, the Girls s...err...are not very interesting (even Sayori's art is disappointing)

Finished Our World Is Ended. ....It was the worst Visual Novel I read for a long time (writing, pace, characters)
I finished the Normal/Bad Ends but I stopped after my second character ending. Too much effort for a so ridiculous reward (a few scenes and a very, very short chapter after the epilogue).
After all these sufferings, I'm cleaning my soul with Ima Sugu Onii-chan ni Imouto da tte Iitai!
I'm in love with the Character Design and the change of setting/atmosphere is so refreshing.
