Wait, now that there are H-CGs, I can't completely dismiss these titles as they actually have a point to them now. The Sakura series could work as an OELVN nukige series I guess...I mean it would kind of be okay since it wouldn't have to entirely rely on its writing which I find to be rather poor compared to other VNs out there.

Sora no Woto is a bit out there, but I enjoyed it immensely. The mech only plays a role at the end, but it's beautiful :')

I managed to catch up with Working!!!, it'll be sad to see it end.

I love h-rpgs so I'm definitely going to get this, however at this rate...I fear that JAST may not release many more eroge rpgs if this fails. In that case it'd be more JAST's fault than any fault of the game seeing as how they're treating this title. Hope I'm wrong and the do go full out advertising it after Shiny Days releases.

I'll just make my post here even though you already know as I've said it in the TS. I agree with pretty much all your points, except I liked the majority of the routes quite a bit despite recognizing their flaws. That being said, it's your review and your score so I completely respect that. I also liked how you backed up your points instead of just leaving them as is.

Eh, I liked the gameplay last I played it. Sure, I'd be up for owning 2 copies of every Rance title.

Don't really do nukige that much even though I have enjoyed some of the ones I've played. Black Lilith is pretty good.

There's quite a bit of rape in the Rance series, but you will get a decent amount of consensual as well.

I'd say they do, I remember my dog used to "run" in her sleep. She would also sometimes bark or growl too. (of course I don't think all animals dream, the more intelligent ones probably do though)

Kichikuou Rance. The world is just massive, you can do so many things in a different order, and you were able to conquer places by means other than force. Events can also change based on how much time you take to accomplish them. The battle system also feels so great.
