  1. Yes, but stories are made by human beings, and they make the characters out of things they know. Of course we could have androids without a flinch of emotion in them but... would that really be enjoyable ? Would you, personally, fall in love with a woman that can't express any feeling ? I can understand the attraction of a introvert woman who doesn't really express her emotions, but I think (maybe I'm wrong) that a lot of you wouldn't actually like it if there were more characters like that in VNs. Maybe you'd find the idea appealing the first few times, maybe you'd like the characters depicted in the first few hours... but I think at some point you would want them to have feelings, to express them, you would be irritated about their nonchalant act in EVERY circumstance. Because the very reason this kind of character is so liked in VNs or animes is actually because they express feeling at some point, and their introvert nature makes it only more enjoyable when they admit they're actually soft or kind inside. But maybe that's just my own preferences I'm talking about in this post. I just see this kind of character a way to climax them into lots of feelings, or at least some feelings that would be more important than the explosion of feelings you see with other characters, exactly because these ones didn't show any before. A character not having feelings or not showing them at all until the very end would feel like a masturbation without any climax for me. Fun all along, okay, but mostly frustrating and irritating at the end, making the whole thing seem pointless and annoying.
  2. Confession : I'm so bad with women that I'm afraid to send them Charms on happn. Confession 2 : Yes, I use happn.
  3. Sorry for the lack of response. I planned to read Stein;Gates since quite some time, but I still haven't. Might be the time to fix this, tho. I'll look into the other ones (espescially The Shadow of Pygmalion... I've always been frustrated by the lack of translated yuri novels, so I'm not gonna spit onto that one). I prefer voiced ones, but I can do without, so I'll look into it as well. Haven't heard of the first one so it fits, I guess. And the art seems a bit odd and dark, I like it. I put it on the "Must Read" List with Stein;Gates and The Shadows of Pygmalion. Well, thank you all for your answers. I'm starting Grisaia no Meikyuu right now, but I'll probably follow with Shadows of Pygmalion. But if you have more, feel free to share, of course !
  4. Hi. So, I've been out of the VN actuality (I don't know if that's the word (<- French guy)) for some time, so I was wondering what was the most recent translated popular stuff ? Basically, the VN that got translated within the 6 last months that almost everybody read. I'm doing Majikoi A-2 right now (thanks again to the team) and I'm already planning to read Grisaia no Meikyuu, but what else ?
  5. I'm absolutely not a fan of Superman (I'm a Batman "fan") and didn't see Batman v Superman, but I recently watched Man of Steel and found all the so-called fans really harsh on it. Actually, nearly all of their arguments seem to be really wrong, and I found a lot of good things in this movie, that I actually liked a lot. It actually reconciled me with Superman, because until now I thought he was a bit boring, without any shade, without any internal struggle, while in this one he actually had a deep and contrast personnality. So, I didn't read all of your argument, but I'm kinda with you.
  6. Oh. I'm not, I just don't care about color names. Never really tried to learn the names, never really cared when someone told me "that's not BLUE that's BLUEISHTURQUOISEGREENWITHABITOFBLACKANDYELLOWSHADES".
  7. Seems pretty accurate. And I suck at colors too, Arca.

    Hai~

Hi and welcome. There are a lot of topics in the recommandations thread to help you start in the VN world, and there's this picture that could interest you. Also, Majikoi for life.
  9. Well, I do like the nice scent of a woman's hair... but sniffing it like that may be a bit creepy, sorry to break your delusions.
  10. Well, I'm still young, but it's still a bit shitty to be an unpopular virgin passed 20.
  11. Well, Michiru is considered as the best route by a lot of people, for what I've seen. And, I didn't like her as a heroine, so I found it difficult to do her route, but still I have to agree that there was a kind of good plot. Personnaly I liked Yumiko's route, but mostly because that's my favorite girl, and also because it's the route where the protag has the more balls, but except that, I think it's not really a good route, not at all even. I think Sachi's route was kinda okayish, but not that great, there are too many things that bothered me. And at last, Amane... well, I liked it for some reasons, but there were other things that bothered me as well, especially the end. That being said, if you want to start with the best possible route, I'd recommand Amane, or, if you don't have too much problem with her, Michiru.
  12. Confession : The vagrant type seems to be popular among women since a few years... and I kinda look like one. But I'm still single and a virgin. I'm starting to feel a bit sad.
