Again, many of those were already introduced by YU-NO.

I mean the use of the Many World Interpretation of QM as a way tho shape the in-game universe in detail. Infinity and derivates (root double, dunams, zero escape etc.), MUV-Luv, the sciadv and many others were most probably influenced by YU-NO. Kanno even made a fake ingame scientific paper to justify and explain the multiverse and the reflector tecnology.

What was the first (j)ADV implementing multiverse theories in a semi-coherent fashion then? (or at the very least triyng hard to be coherent)

Oooku Maruhi Monogatari by nihon falcom, One of the first titles with an hint of a plot. YU-NO, extremely influential with its accurate implementation of multiverse theories Kamaitachi no Yoru, hugurashi's archetype Snatcher There's no difference between the terms, Sound Novel is usually avoided because it is Copyrighted by Chunsoft.

Extremely uncommon but not impossible, love is blind, after all. -

A vn protagonist can usually bang 1 girl per alternate universe, though. -

Too bad I excpect all that crap in simulated romances. When simulations don't deliver, the romance feels stale. -

Some depicts romantic relationships more realistically than others, those not really focused on romance are paradoxically more realistic in this regard, then there are a few exceptions like EF or KGNE, while not being really realistic, they are definitely much more realistic than usual moeges. -

Your experience of "the visual novel entry barrier"
WinterfuryZX replied to Sayaka's topic in Visual Novel Talk
The first VN I played was viper v-16, translated in Italian by Hobibox Europe. A shit game indeed. It was so bad that I quickly forgot abot the medium altoghether. My interest in the medium started to pick up again after the realease of Fate Stay night anime adaption, I liked it, despite the poor quality, then after type moon finished the fantrans I decided to give tsukihime a chanche, I only read a route and I didn't like it very much, though. Then I became a fan of Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni anime adaption, and I knew from the very first episodes that it was adapted from a VN. In the end, the game that made me a VN fan was Chaos;Head, before that i was only a casual player, Chaos head was the game that made ma an avid VN reader. -
"Make Visual Novels Popular in the West": How?
WinterfuryZX replied to Zander's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I strongly disagree, if that was the case I wouldn't be here right now. Just look at my vndb profile, you can notice that the vast majority of the games I evaluated with more than 8 are not focused on pursuing the heroines. I'm not really a womanizer in real life lol, dspite that, artifical love stories don't interest me, I want desperation and betrayals to keep me interested, fluffy romance where nothing relevant happens with random sex scenes for stupid otakus are boring. -

Where and how do you purchase your visual novels?
WinterfuryZX replied to Tamaki Sakura's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I spent 160 USD on that crappy physical release of all the 4 games (trilogy + chiruchiru) and I'm still waiting for labyrinth. I could have purchased all that crap for less then 30 dollars by now. (I pledged when the trilogy was already funded) -
Where and how do you purchase your visual novels?
WinterfuryZX replied to Tamaki Sakura's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I usually preferred physical copies until Grisaia opened my eyes. NEVER MORE. I prefer to avoid steam when possible and purchase from Mangagamer or other specialized sites. I also purchase japanese copies of fantranslated games, less and less, though, since the games I'm interested in are more and more released officially. -
