  1. Personally, I'd say Liar-soft's Fairytale Requiem (and by extension, its Fairytale Encore fandisc) along with PIL/SLASH's Shingakkou -Noli me tangere-. The premises for the Fairytale and Shingakkou series sound pretty cool, plus more horror and mystery games are always a welcome thing in my book.
  2. The Denpasoft panel starts in about 30 minutes from now, so no news yet.
  3. Fruitbat Factory confirms on their store that regular price will be $14.99, but pre-ordering a Steam key directly from them will net you a discount of 10% off per key.
  4. I thought this poll was only being used to gauge demand rather than Spike Chunsoft using it to localize one, and only one, title? I get the feeling Spike Chunsoft might still have 428 localized anyways considering the sheer amount of support it's been getting even if it's not placing first in the polls at this very moment.
  5. I'd say Liar-soft's Fairytale Requiem and its fandisc, Fairytale Encore, along with their append discs. The visuals look absolutely gorgeous and I really dig the characters' designs (Alice and the protagonist's designs are my favorite). Also, from what I've heard the game's fairy tale theme with some elements of horror and mystery mixed in sounds like my kind of game.
  6. I've heard there are fans on Kazamatsuri attempting to translate the entire first volume (previously they were just doing the demo before the game came out), so there's that. However, I'm... not really sure how far they are in the translation. Apparently, it's still going on.
  7. Not surprised to hear anything about Angel Beats on the localization front to be honest. Sekai Project does want to translate Angel Beats while, from what I hear, Key has stated they're open to seeing more of their games receive an official translation even if not by Sekai Project. However, both have stated multiple times they're waiting to see how well Clannad does in the west first before they consider Angel Beats or any other Key game for localization. Even then, I hear the game's text count is so large partly thanks to the amount of choices available in-game I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't hear anything about an official English release until after all six volumes are out in Japan.
