  1. I thought about posting it myself. the only reason why I didn't is that I got it from you and you didn't posted it but PMed instead. Also you probably know that this is not a full patch. There should be also patch1 around ~100mb. People are deleting it because they are scrubs.
  2. Does this patch works for you at all? Well anyway, you can try this. Just put it into the folder as ushual (without removing the previous patch). There are two versions, use only one, whichever works (both may not work). If it doesn't works, I probably can't do anything right now as I can't even find my copy of the ataraxia.
  3. Now-now stop this shit. Jack didn't made the patch. ranmafan was the head of the project (don't know what happened to him) and the translation is made by many volunteers. Jack is just a shit that likes to mess with something he is not supposed to. Well, technically speaking Jack did made the patch multiple times, but in this regard he is not different from Gamecreator16 Nageki, I got the patch. I see what I can do when I'll have a time. Though I will probably try to fix it blindly without actual testing. So it might not work...
  4. Problem with the patch. If you REALLY desperate to make it working gimme a download link to this patch (and a link to a page where it was 1st posted, if you know it). If its not created by Jack, maybe I'll be able to do something about it so that you can advance further. Also include savedata in a place before this happens. If it is by Jack, tell him that his crap is horribly broken. Alternatively, wait till official patch will be released or try to find a better unofficial patch (if it exists). Cause even if I'll make a workaround for this, there might be more similar issues. So I don't see much point in it.
  5. That means... well check your PM. Edit: for those curious, things appear to be not as bad as I initially thought. But I am not working on this.
  6. BTW I tried ONScripter. Unfortunately it appears that this game uses some stuff that is not yet supported in ONScripter (and probably never will be as there is no development anymore) [Edit: at least it says so in the execution log] In other words if you are to port it to ONscripter, it won't look/work exactly like the original. Also in my poor attempt I couldn't display any English characters at all. It thinks they are commands. But that's because I probably missed something. And no applocale can't help here in any way. More to that, please never use it for anything. Just don't. Edit: Not sure what do you mean by "dump the text". I just replaced 1st two lines with some random talk. Anyway, I don't think I have a motivation to do something with this. I just looked into it cause I'd better verify all I said in my 1st post. Looks like I wasn't horribly wrong.
  7. Well, I tried it on the version 1.00 (too lazy to figure out what the heck they did with their patch) Try to decipher this image and see what problems it has. Your translation probably will be like this( ´∀`) Question marks are needed cause lines cannot start with 1byte character or it crashes.
  8. Just don't quote me on that. All I said was a guess by the most part. For example these .txt files you got might as well be working and override the scripts in nscript.dat. However patch 1.04 also updates nscript.dat. In any case, they wasn't supposed to put scripts in arc.nsa. Still worth checking. Like what is actually working and which scripts actually newer. By the way, I find it strange that arc.nsa originally was 456MB but becomes 351MB after their 1.04 patch. Did they cut something? Oo
  9. I have this VN, but thanks. As I said these .txt files you got are useless for the game. Authors of this game included these files by mistake while they was making a 1.04 patch. They might be exactly the same as the actual scripts, but might be not. The actual scripts are in encrypted(or compressed?) file nscript.dat Yes ONScripter is probably the way to go. Not sure. In any case, if you want a simple answer to your original question - there is no such tool you can use to make your translation work. It'll require quite a bit of work to make it work (too much "work" in a few sentences? :DD) Edit: though making it work with a crappy text might be an option, yes. Also I don't remember about wordwrap. Most likely there is no way to do it too. So: your text probably will be tr anslated to the next line lik e this
  10. I might be able to insert some stuff for you, will check on that later. Haven't actually did anything with this engine for a long time. BUT there are 2 things to note: First, the scripts for the VNs on this engine are not located in the file arc.nsa. After patching this VN to ver 1.04 you might be found some 0.txt files inside this archive, but I think they were included by mistake and the engine itself doesn't reads them. I believe version 1.00 didn't had these .txt files inside of the arc.nsa Secondly, this engine does not supports single-byte English (or any) characters. Don't remember how bad it is but there can be 3 possible outcomes: - it won't work at all and you give up on the idea - it works but the text looks like this - you port this VN to different version of this engine Anything of what I said above might be wrong. My memory sux.
  11. I think this might be what you need. Though don't be mad at me if it's not. I don't really follow this stuff for almost a year.
  12. Possible reasons for this problem: 1) filenames already broken in the release you downloaded 2) filenames got broken during the process of extraction files from the archive. Never use windows explorer to extract zip archives (not only because of possible names problem). Use 7zip or winrar. Check your locale. It should be set to Japanese even before you extract that zip archive. Also make the path to the krkr.eXe contain only ascii characters. This will probably make things work. (most of the characters from Japanese codepage should be fine, but just to be safe) Some additional stuff if things still won't work: - savedata folder (including files in it) should not be read only. It can't be that it "reverts" on its own. Most likely you're doing something wrong. - if you had a "savedata" folder after you extracted .zip archive - delete it. Anyway. I hope you'll learn the lesson that prepatched/preinstalled releases are crap. Especially the ones in zip archives. Trying to accommodate to stupid and/or lazy people never does anything good. There's nothing weird with this extension. Whatever the ones who made crack or even the original developers was just too lazy to rename it to something better.
  13. You will have better luck asking them directly. Also you seem to be extremely confused about fate versions To make any of the fate patches work, you need to download only the right version of the FSN. Your description of the problem makes a little sense, but my guess is that their patch expects you to have 3 parts of the PC version of the 「Fate/Stay night Realta Nua」 without any English patches, while you have 「Fate/stay night」 2004 (non-realta nua) + original English translation. And even if your Fate release mentions "realta nua" somewhere, it doesn't necessarily means that this is original RealtaNua and not the old 2004 version with old fan-made patch applied.
  14. Yeah, I agree. I can't read VNs in windowed mode myself. (unless its a rare case when i can freely resize the window). The worst part about this... Never7 can't even be launched under virtual machine. At least with VirtualBox even with installed Direct3D it doesn't allows to select something other than RGB emulation mode, which simply crashes. So... I dunno. Try to update some video drivers, update directx9 also. Maybe that'll help. Other than that, there isn't anything you can do.
  15. Yes, it is a problem with the VN and if you only have a lag but not a complete or partial black screen - consider yourself lucky. The only thing you can do is to set compatibility mode to win xp sp2 and then try different video settings to see if anything works better (if at all) I don't really remember what options worked best for me, but after some trial and error it works on win7 x64 pretty nice. Not sure about win8
  16. Looks nice. I hope this will help them to finally go out of business. ψ(`∇´)ψ
  17. No-no I edited my previous post. I thought he was, but in truth he was an editor. Translator was... ah I forgot, too lazy to dig into that again.
  18. Well yeah, I figured out this much. In fact I don't even want that person to work on this VN. He have to finish Coμ already and start to work on Rewrite HF! ψ(`∇´)ψ Edit: Actually by looking at the commit log, the person I was talking about wan't a translator but an editor. And translator noted somewhere that he is supposed to translate 1 script per day until its finished or he is dead... It is still not finished, so... へ(>_<へ)
  19. I'm pretty sure someone was translating this like 2 years ago. I even still have a copy of the repository with some translated scripts... what happened to that translation? I don't remember already ^^ Something like 15 scripts were translated. Not sure how much there in total.
  20. LOL dude. I hope you're trolling. Cause it'll be very sad if you really don't know what this message means (even if you don't know Japanese at all). Try to figure that out on your own...
  21. Please never do that. Always run iso's when possible and install the way it meant to be installed. Also run .mds instead of .iso if they are present.
  22. This is not a crack problem. He didn't even installed it. The message says that some information wasn't specified blah-blah. The reason for that, this is not the file you should be launching. Go to the directory one level above and launch "autorun.exe" with admin rights.
  23. I'm not sure what confused you, but the first time you launch FSN - you're not supposed to have access to the menu. You read the prologue, watch the movie and only then see the menu for the 1st time. If it wasn't the same for you, your release does have some problems. Also you shouldn't be able to see the prologue again if you saw it once, unless you go to the Extra menu and select it there.
  24. Can you explain more what do you mean by "restarting". If you see the main menu after that scene - this is how it is supposed to be. Edit: unless I'm thinking about the wrong scene, when you see the image of Saber with a sword, after that should be 1st opening movie and then the main menu. Nothing more.
