  1. Hey there, good to have you around. I'm a writer as well. Do you have any published works? I like your taste in VNs. Looks like you've hit a lot of the top ones on my list. For non-H with a strong plot and some KEY-like sensibilities, you could check out Symphonic Rain. It has a light (and fun) gameplay element, but nothing intrusive.
  2. You can try Demonbane and Stenis;gate. The specific combination of romance / comedy / realistic danger is a pretty thin field, so I think people have already mentioned most others I can think of.
  3. The Great Rollback of '15 ... indeed. It's already gone down in the history books. Or I should say, it's already erased itself from the history books. Welcome aboard. Have you tried combining your two hobbies by playing games while riding ponies? Or are you concerned about the possibility that after experiencing something so transcendent, there will be nothing left to accomplish in life?
  4. Hello! If your sense of humor needs some work, you came to the right place. I don't think it's possible to lack humor if you spend enough time playing VNs and hanging around the VN community.
  5. I think the VN market has reasonable adult representation. I'm also a businessperson in my 30s and I haven't found the VN medium to be any less worthy than other traditional media for an "adult contemporary" type of audience. Certainly there is specific content that isn't aimed at our age group, but that's true of every medium. That aside, welcome to the forums. I'm also new here. Otome isn't often my genre, but I hope your game finds success. Perhaps I'll check it out.
  6. Just curious, which particular games in the series do you feel are better? Ever17 is one of the highest rated VNs of all time, which is pretty remarkable considering it's also the oldest game rated in the top 15 on VNDB.
  7. I haven't had time to play the demo yet, but this looks very interesting. I love the concept. There's great irony in making a game that tackles the (very real, near-future) issue of how humans can be encouraged to form true connections in an almost purely digital era. I'll be following this project through to release. Best of luck!
