This sounds promising. Will ensure I check that. Just watched the first episode of Bananya. I'm pretty sure it's aimed at... 3 year olds, but it was just really nice to watch for 3 minutes. Sweet, kinda amusing, and I think as the series goes on it has the potential to be seriously funny.

Cos sometimes the VA goes on a huge ramble and the translated text reads 'OK' or something like that, and then you get to imagine what's actually being said In all seriousness though, it can help with establishing/aiding mood, particularly if the written is less good and can promote ambiguity.

I'm seconding the Everlasting Summer one. Storyline was peculiar but actually pretty cool, and the writing/art had (and has, if I'm honest) the power to still put me on edge or prod my stomach. And Nekopara if I'm honest. I was expecting fluff - which I got - but it was surprisingly endearing fluff.

Spent an entire shift at work yesterday listening to purely Buck-Tick. An absolutely correct decision, I feel.

As sanahtlig said it's a weird scenario, but I don't think I'd have too much of a problem with it. As long as the voice acting isn't god-awful (which seems to be a common consensus that it would be), then I'd be okay. Just hire some reasonable actors that don't make everyone wanna puke in their mouth, and it'll be great. Or at the very least, alright.

Cool design but the background colouration doesn't do a huge amount for me. Stripy-topped socks though. 7/10.

Honestly can't say that I'm surprised, what with how popular it's been an'all. They'll probably reach whatever goal it is they'll need easily. What'll be interesting is how heavy they play on the lewdness. There's potential that this could just be adorable slice of life, but then they're just as likely to go with a straight-up ecchi angle (I doubt they'll go full-on H with it).

The H-scene with Rin in Fate Stay/Night may very well be my favourite based purely on how much it made me laugh Same as the lemon scene in Katawa Shoujo... And the bath scene with Sachi in Grisaia no Kajitsu. I'm starting to think I'm just not engaging with H-scenes correctly.

Texas knows. In all honesty, I find fireworks really quite sad. Sure, they're pretty to look at from a distance, but their sole purpose is to go up, be appreciated for two seconds, and then be totally, utterly useless. It's not even like something particularly cool happens here. They're anticlimactic and vaguely depressing. Throw in the fact they're loud as shit and sometimes people do get hit by hot shit, fireworks can fuck off and die as far as I'm concerned I think we all would... probably
