Warning: For those of you watching the Mekakucity Actors anime or reading the Kagerou Days manga this will spoil the story. Though parts of the anime will be original there are a lot of elements, including the backstory that will be similar. Proceed at your own risk.
Though I personally am still loving the anime despite already knowing the original source material so I'd encourage you regardless.
 
So I've seen a lot of people enjoying Mekakucity Actors and its intricacy and mystery. But I figured some might not know or not have seen the original work it's adapted from which is a series of music videos created by Jin. I decided to make this thread to share with you all the orignal story and maybe get some new fans of it.
 
Below is every original music video with a summary underneath explaining what is going on in it. There are 22 songs in total.
Note that every music video is linked and as a whole they form a story. Make sure to pay attention to the lyrics and the images so you can get the most out of it and hopefully you enjoy it as much as I did.

I hope you enjoyed the adventures of the Mekakushi Dan as well as the stories behind them.
 
There are many theories about some of the events and not everything is crystal clear, but that's also part of its charm and I'm up for discussing anything with any of you.
 
I might do some character summaries as well as a FAQ but I'm too tired now after making this. Regardless I hope you liked the story as much as I did. Cheers~

As for the project request, wouldn't it be good to have a youtube account? You know like that video introduction to VN you made, but with more things. Podcasts, reviews, news, and that one activity you did on Skype whose name I don't seem to recall. As fuwan has grown isn't it a good idea to make use of it and bring it to youtube where a lot of young otaku wander?

Some parts of the anime are better than the VN (pretty much only VA), but aside from one or two episodes I didn't like the anime.

There are around 20 cats at my parents' place, I always ignore them but I actually don't dislike them. Yeah I like them.

So, I was in the middle of a picture hunt like usual, when I came across a pair of cute striped pantsu, needless to say I saved the picture, and added "pantsu" to the filter, and after some digging I thought: "Striped panties are the best, but black underwear is better as a whole"

I believe "ecchi" means "H" not pervert. You forgot Meganekko , Miko, Hetare, Donkan, Ahoge, and perhaps some others. If you added good, true and bad endings you might as well add neutral ending. I think you also forgot or perhaps skipped Shishou. I think you also forgot flag. And perhaps event. That's all that comes to mind.

Sandwiches are avid readers' best friends, I usually (always) postpone my meal with a sandwich and eat a properly meal once I'm done with my reading.
Also cereal is so easy it's delicious, I'll go make a cereal thread right aw... wait a second... there's already one!
