Saki was the reason I started learning and playing Japanese Mahjong, and being a lover of all things yuri, coupled with the sfx when they make their tile calls or draw their tiles made it one of my favorite mahjong animes.

Can't wait for Season 2, Log Horizon was one of my more favorite shows to watch in the past year. Seeing how much fighting and superpowers animes that I've watched, a show that brings in tons of explanation, logic, strategies and careful planning to fights/battles and overload my head add some spice to watching it

I've been with fuwanovel from the start (back when the website was still a prototype and using the .com domain), but even now every time the website goes offline it scares me to see how I've lost a virtual limb to navigate the VN landscape...

Thanks for all the hard work of Nayleen who worked tirelessly to continuously improve the website, as well as Naomi who made the Fuwanovel Facebook page as successful as it is today Hope you guys can still lurk around the forums to chat and have fun, and also never ever forget the love we all shared for Visual Novels Maybe I should begin contributing code back to the website again...

Good thing about VNs having anime adaptations is that you can more easily relate to anime fans. Don't like how the anime adaptation was made? Try out the VN. Like the anime? Then you'll love the VN even more. Then you can look out for anime adaptation announcements of VNs, post it and then relate back to the VN that started it all.. Taking Grisaia no Kajitsu as an example.. "An anime adaptation for Grisaia no Kajitsu was announced in April 2013. For those anticipating the anime, don't wait! Play the VN now! <insert fuwa download link> ... <goes on with the synopsis>" That is just one of the many ways you can approach with reaching out to anime fans, just my two cents Keep up the good work! Thanks to your efforts the Fuwanovel facebook community has really liven up quite a bit! *sniff sniff* I still remember the good old days when the page was still in its infancy..

I'll say Little Busters! is my favourite VN. It centers around the theme of Friendship and bonds of "nakama", so it's refreshing to be constantly reminded of the wonders of friendship throughout the entire story, even right up till Refrain. (Clannad focuses more on the theme of family bonds)

My vote goes to Grisaia If you're following the Little Busters anime and aren't enjoying it as much as you think you should, then I'll suggest the Little Busters! VN instead.

I've been wanting to implement the UI in WPF for the longest time now, but anyway we'll have to first wait for the new API so that more options will open up to developers~ For example, how nice it would be if the API could provide Android Phones with a Fuwa App the capability to directly download the .apk files from Fuwanovel (if it ever hosts them) and install them onto the device..

FuwanViewer was a name I thought of on the spot, when I needed to name it something.. FuwanViewer is "Fuwanovel Viewer" in short, which really means that the user is just browsing VNs in fuwanovel like usual, except they're doing it in a desktop program.. This would hopefully allow users to browse for the VNs they want (filtering by genre, age rating, etc) faster and easier since the main website does not handle that kind of functionality yet.. It is also really to test my programming skills, back when I did have some time to kill.. I was really hoping to look for one more enthusiastic programmer to join me in further improving the program, but I'm out of luck in that.. Features that need to shine.. I guess whatever that FuwanViewer can do.. Since there's not really that many functionality to date yet.. And to answer the question about same banner sizes, yes I believe there's a fixed size for what kind of images they show (banners, screenshots, cover arts).. Oh, and finally, there's no rush for the design yet! Take your time in the designing, I still need to settle some backend issues to improve the user experience~

Sorry about that, I fixed the issue in the current prototype on my system but found no time to upload it... Edit Edit: added minor issues. This is awesome, I've been waiting for find somebody who has a much better design sense than me! (Since I'm not a design guy, just your average programmer who does simple apps like this every once in his free time..) The screenshot looks nice, may I ask if I can use that design layout you mentioned above? o.o If you want to develop a version of FuwanViewer of your own, go ahead! I'm not monopolizing the idea of a desktop application for $$ or benefit, I simply do it because I want to! I can put my programming to good use, as well as give users another option of browsing the site with added convenience. I do know qberty is trying for an android implementation of FuwanViewer, and I even helped him with the api at some point, so if you think there's a better way to present this program, feel free to do so~ In fact, I would be very glad if more options are available for the users~ P.S. I've set up a public repository last year with the source code of FuwanViewer (although it's C#), so if you want to look at it, go ahead Once I've cleared up some free time I'm going to continue with developing FuwanViewer, but for now I need to focus on schoolwork~ orz
