  1. Key is p shitty tho. As with all Key works, you've got the group that praises it for being an amazing tearjerker and comedy, and another that claims it to be predictable, formulaic, cheap, and perfunctory work for having no purpose but to elicit a few tears with a poor sense of pace and plotting along with twists which tend to trivialize the conflicts. If you like Key, you might as well read it. If you don't like Key, then don't. The only work different enough from the rest is Rewrite.
  2. It never makes sense, even after finishing. Definitely a title able to proudly say, "Inspired by Alice in Wonderland", but that very nonsensical aspect is part of what makes it so polarizing. Add in its repetitive prose with a translation which doesn't capture the charm of the original, and you have Forest. For another recommendation, I would've said Umineko as it fits most aspects, but it ends up making you feel stupid (lol). There's also Subarashiki Hibi with its translation on the verge of release, but it been on that status for a few months now. You could always join the hype train though!
  3. Bernkastel Silent, but in the company of people I regularly communicate with I'm a troll. Also a sore loser. And sadistic And I like calling some people furniture (Oh Umineko, what have you taught me?)
  4. As a critic of all things rate-able, I simply must get this app and bash critique everyone I know. (And maybe people I don't know ) It's all to help the children's trust issues, gais!
  5. Regardless of whether or not someone insults you for reading a VN Books are cool so read them. Or just ask what their favorite book is, read it (or a negative, legit review of it), bash it to hell, and call them a, "classless, tasteless, and awful excuse of a literate man/woman".
  6. I heard the TLer say he's only TLing it to say the entire Infinity series is TLed. Code(forgot the number) doesn't count, of course.
  7. Ehhh, as much as I like BL, I'm not interested. (Guess I don't like it that much) I'm suspicious of the quality and all that shit. It looks too prettied-up to have those creepy BL tropes though, so who knows? My stance for now is "wait and see".
  8. I'm a romantic, so I believe it's the work of fate! Well, not really, but it's more fun that way, right?
  9. Jormungand is cool, I guess. Good characters and backstories, but the main plot is pretty stupid and lacks good conflict, buildup, and the like. The main character also feels mary sue-ish as she always wins. It explores a few messed-up minds, but not to the extent of Black Lagoon. It's disappointing if you're expecting Black Lagoon, maybe disappointing in general. Psycho-Pass is interesting. Interesting plot, characters, and generally skillful. It just isn't explored as much as I would've liked it to be. I liked it, but was never wowed. Baccano's my personal favorite among the recommendations for Black Lagoon. It's about messed-up characters, but despite the over-the-top violence it's fun and happy. Most of the fun comes from it's non-linear storytelling method though, so it's best you marathon it to not get confused. It's simply a blast to watch. On personal notes, my favorite animes are Utena, Penguindrum, and Shin Sekai Yori. For the former 2, if you like surrealism then go for it. Otherwise, it could be interesting or bad to you. The latter is a good, interesting, psychological horror with an amazing lore and ending. However, it is extremely slow-paced and at times, stressful. Not really one to watch to be entertained.
  10. Note to self: If I play Corpse Party mess everything up.
  11. I would love to have starless read this. It's a shame he left, even if for a while. Well, seems like I have a new favorite not-read.
  12. I'm putting a play on Project Gutenberg through that. No regrets.
  13. It's okay, we're under "And everyone else". Good luck with life Ren! Stay original.
  14. Madness No Happy Endings Just seeing everyone go cray and die turns me on better than any h.
  15. Thinking about it, even Beethoven and the like had difficult times. I'd say it is.
  16. Second line from the bottom. There's a small space between it and the beginning of the clef, which no longer makes it a G-clef. :^) I totally asked for this hoping you'd mess up the way you did.
  17. I still support Ikikoi's common route. It sounds like RH1 with 4 Kagamis. So that means it's closest to SubaHibi!
