We don't have AX or Otakon yet. I don't think they will officially announce a big untranslated new title just on a small con even if they are teasing for Aokana quite a bit.
The best news is actually that Favorite is willing to release their titles in the west which isn't a given, so there's hope for more from them.

I just don't get why the hell Sekai Project wouldn't aim for already translated titles. It's more cost efficient, faster and goes nicely with their motto of spreading VN's around. Sure, most VN fans may have already played such fan translations, but that's why Sekai Project always goes for steam.
In my opinion, they'd be bonkers if they didn't go for fan translated titles when they have the chance.

Well this is some horrible news. Hurray for Sekai and its bullsh*t all ages crap. I thought I would be getting to read a VN without machine translations soon and now that is out the door. We all know only the all age version will be available in October. The 18+ version if it comes out at all will be released 6 months later at least. Really guys. You couldn't try to pair up with a good localization company like MangaGamer. Sorry for sounding like a self entitled ahole, but this news has definitely angered me a bit. My anger will pass with some time though.

Well, someone is above Sekai Project, it's Regista who decide what to do and when to do, SP can just give them ideas, propositions and state their opinions. Regista have final say on everything... They decided to allow lower tiers, so they're now available.

It still doesn't change the fact that the top 50/100 w/e title deserve to be there because well they are simply outstanding and thats why everyone including me want them in english. That has nothing to do with bandwagon or whatever. I just want to play the best VNs available.

Yet somehow Sakura no Uta wins couple VNOTY awards + get the highest EGS score in 2015, and it's also currently TOP 7 overall, averaging 90/100 points. It would be strange for it to be "Ikikoi 2 - Boredom Reloaded"

It's a bit sad that Silverio is 4th, but what can you do? They all are pretty damn close.
Some changes were made. Rakuen out, Fairytale Requiem in.

That was a nice journey. "From the worst VN Kickstarter" to "Acceptable/Good VN Kickstarter" 
- Merchandise added
- PSVita added/Price changes to the tiers(absurd shikishi's tiers changed to acceptable ones)/Names in credits/1$ tier added
- New tiers for PSVita etc.
- Collector's Box tiers added
And there was also a lot of Game Information updates, pretty nice addition. I didn't read any of them, because I like to go in blind, but still that's pretty nice. Looks like the devs decided to jump on the train during the KS seeing that it's not doing well, and save honor, and also respect the backers. I wonder if how it would look if this KS has all these at the start, and maybe better layout and tier wording/styling, something like in Muv-Luv KS. Anyway, now we can rest assured that it will make it. After all, good job during the campaign Sekai Project, you still have a lot to learn, but I hope you won't make the same mistakes.
 

Interesting thing is that Asairo is currently winning. I thought people would be more after best gameplay VN title. Considering it has pathetic level machine TL, and Asairo is full of kanji puns, not easy to translate.

I don't know what's the plan behind it, but I don't think that it will help that much. Normal guy, wants his Vita version, he look at KS page: "Oh okay, there's vita, time to pledge!" Then he sees that he would need to pledge 225$ or more: "Okay, nvm." While addind Vita version is pretty nice, I don't think many Vita players will ride this train... It would be way better just adding VITA tier at 30$ and Vita&PC Digital Bundle at like 60$ You would probably get couple hundreds of people. Maybe even more, who knows. We'll see how it'll go, I want it to succeed, so... And you left 1000/5000/7000 as they are, well that's your choice.
These tiers just saddens me... They're really uncomparable to Muv-Luv or even Libra. Cost of Libra B/W Shikishi 1000$, cost of Muv Luv Maxima Colored Shikishi 300~~$ Official Colored Shikishi 1000~~$ (Muv-Luv ones maybe even less, because of the other prizes) Root Double B/W Shikishi 4000$+ Root Double Colored Shikishi 6000$+ 
I'm not a hater of SP, but if Regista/Yeti wanted to offer tiers like this, you should just say "Are you guys out of your minds?" It's not even about supporting the KS/game/devs or not, it's about RESPECTING the visual novel fanbase... Someone still will probably have to pledge this amount to save this KS... I know Root Double doesn't have much merchendise, but that doesn't mean that you have to put tiers like these. I would just delete them personally. 
Someone who's willing to pledge 7000$ should get at least a meeting with writer/artist + both B/W and Colored Shikishis

My first time posting in this forum section, maybe I'll introduce myself someday too^^'
Anyway, nice to see representative of SP on Fuwa, finally. As far as I know, opinion about SP isn't too good here, maybe it will change within time, at least I hope so. I think it was very nice move to finally hire some PR guys, and let some weight off from dovac's arms. I really like that SP is going on and on with kickstarters, because they want to grow ASAP. And I think that's the fastest way for now, which fruits we would be able to see in probably quite near future. 
Don't know if you can answer, but is there any chances for 18+ G-Senjou release? I think some people might want to support Ak Soft2 so we can get more of their titles, but they just aren't willing to pay for double cut(CG wise and content wise) Steam version. I guess I'd agree with Steam only release if they wanted the same or similiar money for uncut one. 
Hope you'll stay here for a long time, and you're willing to accept constructive feedback. There also might be some anti-SP people... but don't mind them, they're all good souls loving VNs. So yeah, nice to have you here!
PS. May I also ask for Baldr Sky release date?

Yeah, you might be right with the assets thing, but that doesn't justify "meh" quality boxes/images... They look as simple as they could be.
David, honestly, don't you think it's offensive to fans to set up 1,000$ tier with only signs added from 275$ tier? I'm feeling bad for people trying to save KS by choosing 1000$ tier...

You guys should just take an example from Muv-Luv KS, because it was the most successful VN Kickstarter ever. Look at the rewards, the images, the desription etc. and compare them to Root Double... Layout is pretty important thing too!
Look at the tiers on the right for Root Double, pretty simple, and they look... pretty poor/bland? even with the added mugs etc. (it should be prepared beforehand...):
Now look at the Muv-Luv one. Everything looks pretty, right? Way more information than in Root Double KS, we even got them pointed... :
Don't get me wrong, but I also think that images/assetsfor tiers prepared for Muv-Luv KS looks way better than the ones for Root Double. Don't get me wrong, but people like things to look pretty... 
 
Could point more things out. When you do a kickstarter, you should try to "sell" the product as best as you can. Don't know if your tactic with this one was: "Let's start with "shit" tiers and get them to somewhat acceptable ones by the end of kickstarter" or if you just failed in praparation stage? 
I really thing you could do way better with this and every each one of upcoming SP kickstarters. Let me say this again, take example from most successful kickstarter... Hire someone with high photoshop skills, pay him xxx/xxxx$ to make layout etc. of kickstarters and you'll see increase in backers. You announced KS 6~~ months ago, and you come up with something like this? 
Everything in Muv-Luv KS looks pleasant to eye, while I can't say the same about Root Double KS, the images etc. seems pretty low quality...

Every tier after 225$ should just evaporate. Fans shouldn't even touch them... That's how unfair they are. 1,000$ tier should be like 350$, 5,000$ one should be changed into 1000$.... and the most expensive 7000$ one should be 1,500$ instead. I'm not saying give fans "items" for free, but at least at viable prices. It is calles crowd-funding, but that's just pushing it over the edge. If they want it to succeed they should change the higher tiers + add new ones. They had over half a year to organize this kickstarter and that's what they came up with? One word: disappointement. If they think that fans are dumb enough to give them pure money for almost nothing they're wrong... (hopefully)
