Hello dear fuwanovel, koiken otome fans and previous members,
 
I am not very good in writing things so please bear with that if you continue to read below.
 
You may or may not have noticed but i have stepped out of flyingpantsu and as well as the koiken otome project, this is mainly because me and acf were having way to much conflicts, in the past but also in the present, i wish the members currently working on it and future members of the project much luck with releasing the final patch and maybe some additional content.
It was nice working with all but another reason for stepping out was because i had less and less time for the project and to help out, mainly because my life's been busier.
Some people think i have not done anything for the project or anything, but i injected my previous time into the project as much as i could leading to reallife problems as i am facing now.
I will still be online is some channels like fuwanovel and the wakarimashitatl channel, i may or may not set up a new fansub group in the future. i am thinking about that but at the minute i don't have time for that, but it was always fun to do things for the community.
I would like to thank the current members again for their great support and free time into koiken otome and their willingness to help us now and in the past/future.
Thank you for reading all till this. i know my english ain't the best or my way of writing is not the best but please understand this and the situation i'm in. Thank you for you time!

There are several possibilities as to why the videos won't play.
 
1. You don't have the files or the files are corrupted. If you got your copy from fuwa, you should get a mov folder inside the files you downloaded. Check if they exist, and do a force recheck of the files with your torrent client. Make sure you check everything since some built-in codecs might have been corrupted.
 
2. Your netbook can't play it. Go to the mov folder and try playing it with your movie player.
 
3. The game can't access the files. Have you renamed anything in the folder?
 
4. Your netbook hates you. Have you tried seducing it or slamming it into a table?
 
Haha what exactly happens when it doesn't play, though? Does it just go black screen or does it display any errors?
Also since you already have CCCP, does the subtitle get displayed over a black screen?

Hello Everyone,   I'm pleased to announce that the forums are back online!  (Though, as you're reading this on the forums, it should come as little surprise)  As you look around, you'll notice many changes.  If you run into any technical issues, or have any feedback, please report them in this topic.  We will work hard to make this transition smooth.   I'd like to express thanks to Nayleen who has been an unbelievable help and has put in a huge amount of time making this upgrade.  Together, we've spent over 120 man hours in working on the site after its takedown. Fuwanovel is made much the better for having him with us, and on behalf of the entire community, I'd like to thank him for all that he does for us.   If people are interested, we can post more about the work that was done for the site.  For the time being, however, we'll focus on getting this show on the road.  You'll notice several subtle changes, as well as upgrades.  We look forward to getting your thoughts and error reports.   Welcome back, everyone!

Here are plenty of projects which are looking for additional translators and translation checkers. You can just join one of them.
If you need help with some other VN based on YU-RIS engine, PM me and I'll set up everything for you.

But I doubt registry is the problem since you are able to run the game.

If you don't want to redownload it at least try forcing a recheck on the files with your torrent client to see if any files are corrupt.
