I know, I didn't think this could still be a thing, but yeah here in butfuck Kansas there are plenty of people that still get violently offended by common scientific knowledge. A couple of years ago I overheard a student complaining that their environmental biology teacher was forcing the ideas of evolution on the class........ GOD DAMN IT RURAL AMERICA.

It's important for other people to know how much we don't care. It adds to our hipster image xD

It never really occurred to me that when Saikawa grows up Kanna will still be a child.
    Ahhhh, I love the bittersweetness.

I have absolutely no interest in Grisaia Phantom Trigger and the more than 3 volumes bullshit just means I won't support it (unless they say how long each volume is going to be). It's obvious Frontwing has realized thanks to Corona Blossom that they can piecemeal vns for better profits. Hell the only reason I bought the entire Corona Blossom is because I wanted a conclusion after getting scammed via the first one. It's not going to happen again. I might consider backing a full game but not going to go anywhere near something with volumes. Hell both Corona Blossom and Karakara really soured my experience on new visual novels and I likely won't back any further ones from any company.

You know as long as I repress all of my concerns and personal grievances of Phantom Trigger being set in the "Grisiaia Universe" I actually can see this series working pretty well. I imagine the first couple of volumes will be pretty dull and the bog standard "military training" arc in which the characters will learn how to function as a cohesive unit, like the first season of RWBY and Muv Luv Unlimited. Things should pick up afterwards when the team is sent on actual missions, which hopefully will be worldwide. We could get some very MuvLuvesque social commentary on the role of developed nations in unstable countries and I'm sure some very interesting character building moments for our cast considering they are from various nationalities. Each volume could focus on a different part of the world with a different terrorist/rebel/criminal organization serving as an antagonist.

I was puzzled by that too, but after checking on the page again it is showing 35 reviews. Not sure what that was about.

Claymore was awesome. I was expecting crap but found myself marathoning the damn thing the first time I watched it and loved it. The manga has finished too now years later, so if you find yourself left wanting after finishing the anime, I highly recommend reading the manga afterwards which is very satisfying and many many arcs longer than the anime

Finished Ouran High School Host Club, it was pretty mediocre...... until that shitshow of an ending. That was allot of cringeworthy melodrama packed into a very small time-frame fuck this anime.
Onward to Claymore, I need something bloody to wash my palette.

Soulless Watcher got a reaction from Narcosis in Rating Things a 10/10
I mean let's be honest with ourselves a true 10/10 visual novel doesn't exist, even if we make sure to factor in subjective tastes, I am confident that we can all point out various flaws in our favorite visual novels. A numerical system of rating is inherently flawed in that complex opinions can't be converted into a number without striping allot of the complex opinion of its' meaning.
I would recommend that you revisit some of your ratings after you have read a dozen plus more visual novels. You currently have a relatively low amount of visual novels rated, so your ratings might be a bit skewed in certain ways. After expanding the amount of titles read you may look back and rate some visual novels differently.

From Pakuyasa in women's underwear? You sick fuck.
Anyone else kinda feel weird about the latest episode of Gabriel DropOut? Maybe it's just because I'm from the states, but I thought the Satania gun sketch would end with her getting arrested and the bald teacher being assigned as her probation officer.

Rance Quest's translation was never stalled. Even after the MangaGamer licenses were announced, Bad End continued translating Quest and listing its progress on the blog, even though she stated that she would not release it as a fan patch. and It got very far before the blog was eventually taken offline completely. Sengoku and Quest both releasing this year is within the realm of possibility.
It varies title to title. Beat Blades Haruka took Arunaru around five months to translate. Rance 6 has a bit more text, but you also need to keep in mind that most of the translation was done on Arunaru's spare time as a fan translator, before he was hired by MangaGamer. He may have dedicated less time to it then he does to translation now.

I was wrong about a year there. The real fact was Arunaru managed to translated Rance VI almost completely around 4 months before he starting to work on Haruka at June (Arunaru was started Rance VI translation at February after finished Mamatoto translation).
As for the answer, it's depend on the length of the games although the translator factor was the most though if I may said. What I want to imply is that Arunaru was always doing quick translation for all of his projects, and I think it was good. Although maybe in the hand of other translator it'll be take longer time though if we talk about any of Alicesoft games ie more than one year.

It's all a marketing gimmick for companies to try and exploit you for cash anyways, in a sense being single and not doing anything special during valentines is like being part of a communist rebellion........ shut up I know I sound pathetic

Well it is one of those games in which you get to rename the protagonist, I kinda take that as an admission from the developers that they didn't even try.

I trend away from mainstream opinion here. I'm a big fan of no voices for this exact reason. Less money spent on voice acting means not only the possibility of extra content, but it also means the game doesn't have to sell as well to recoup money. The latter reason means more risks could be taken with the content, whereas as a large budget game will have to try and pander to the largest possible audience group possible.
