Another silly stupid move from people who don't understand what piracy is.  All I can see this doing is forcing people who have legitimately bought the game to torrent it after they use up their download limits. As it is already DRM free, it would be faster to pirate it via torrent than go through their servers already.

this is not what people complain about. In fact, it is the exact opposite. An american visual novel made by an american who never been in japan makes a game set in tokyo. That is what pisses this community off.

The problem is that your example is still better than 90% of the released OELVNs.
 

I'm going to be the wet blanket. I hope this stops him from writing for awhile. This experience might make him write a more realistic plot for once.

Quick summary: 6 episodes of near meaningless SoL bullshit; 4 episodes of intense melodrama that makes you want to stick forks in your eyeballs; 2 final episodes revolving around even more pointless shit no one cares about because the main plot already went off the rails 6 episodes ago, including a really dumb tacked on romantic subplot, because of course it has to have romance, even if it doesn't fit at all in the story.

At least the name Lousler gives hope that you won't name people Japanese names for no reason? Especially in a setting of the US.

Confession: I sincerely believe that anyone who drive 10 mph below the speed limit on an expressway for ANY reason other than having your car fall apart less than 30 seconds ago should be shot dead.  It would solve so many economic problems. Why the rant? Because a fucking splash of liquid death today caused a 10 mile traffic jam on a massive highway.  I want to find the people who decided to slow down and shoot them in the head saying they shouldn't have gotten on the fucking road.

So for shits and giggles I left streetpass on when I walked in to campus today.  I honestly wasn't expecting anything.  Come home and I find at least two other people apparently also have this game and had streetpass on, waiting in my castle.  Fuck, now I feel I need to meet them.  That is hilariously entertaining.

So after being able to select which units you want to bring into battle, (this is an option on the prebattle screen) selecting view map and pressing A on a non key unit (unit that you selected to bring into battle, this generally means no main character), you can select the 'swap' option and swap that character with any other non key unit by selecting that other unit's square.

Honestly, this has been known for a while, and isn't anything new.  People who really, really care, already have an imported Japanese 3DS or have already CFW and gotten out of region lock to play japanese games.  To the vast majority of the rest of us, as long as the story makes sense, and is close enough between translated versions (IE german, english, french, etc. Basically EU) we could care less.  You think that the gamecube fire emblem games probably didn't have an entirely rewritten script? You must be silly.
Sure, you can get up in arms about it, being that this is a japanese translation community, but it really doesn't change the fact that this has been going on for literally decades. Old news is really old.  All that matters at the end of the day is consistency when talking about the game with friends.  It would be extremely amusing if they did screw with the EU versions though.  That would be a social experiment in action right there.

PTSD is really hard to armchair diagnose.  I'm not saying you might not have it, but having other people who aren't trained psychologists say it is really unreliable.  I guess if you are going to try for 100% disability you would probably have to get it officially diagnosed anyway.  Like you said, either way its a positive(?), and if you do have it, you could at least get treatment.

This is the typical hazing Fire Emblem will give to new players.  Death. Lots and lots of death.  I haven't picked up either yet, but I am definitely going conquest with permadeath.
This is how you play most Fire Emblems.  You don't fall for the free Paladin/Second Class character at the start, you only level one of the two cavalry you get, and you level the main character like 2 levels ahead of everyone else.  Otherwise your experience is just too thin by the end of the game if you don't break weapons against bosses in 200 turn fights.
Out of curiousity, do they have a Troubadour in this game? Priscilla and Clarine from the GBA titles were amazing dodge tanks, as well as OP mobile magic batteries.
