Allright, I used a Hiragana chart to make out some of the symbols and use some image recognition to text software for the Kanji and came up with this: As for the question it asks, Google translate says this: "Last scan Are you sure you want to Sukiyan (co Konpiyu COMPUTER for update ?" So I think it's "Last scan was 2015/02/05, Are you sure you want to shut down the computer for update?" I honestly have no idea what the sukiyan is supposed to be as the image recognition software botched up some of the Kanji. Just press "Do not ask again" and it should dissapear.

I just opened VNR myself with Majikoi and it seems that you need to disable the VTrans (zhs) translator in "Preferences -> Translation -> Translators"

So many visual novels have a set of routes in which your goal is to romance a girl, the question here is which side character would you have loved to see have a full route and romance option. I'd go with Chizuru from Grisaia No Kajitsu because she is rather interesting and I'd love to know just what relation she had with Yuuji before the VN. What about you guys? Any side characters that peek your interests?

Oh indeed, I got completely confused, I meant Chaos;Head, not Steins;Gate . I'll certainly read Steins;Gate as a few friends recommended that and I like the setting of timetravel.

Thank you, I am currently reading Steins;Gate but it's a bit.. "Weird" I guess. I'm only at chapter 3 so I probably shouldn't judge too soon. Also thank you for your recommendations, I'll try to read most of them but with Fuwanovel's torrents down that'll get a little bit harder now.

Hello, I'm Segai and I've been playing with VN's for quite a bit now. As with many people Katawa Shoujo was my first one and my god I was sold by this concept and immediately started searching for more. That's when I found this lovely site and hit my bandwidth cap by downloading way to many visual novels in a week. I think I've played most of the "must read" visual novels like Hoshizora No Memoria and Sharin no Kuni and I can't really think of any VN I played that was bad. I'd say my favourite would be G-Senjou no Maou or Grisaia no Kajitsu though. Shiratori's bad ending has me grinning all the way up to my eyes and Sachi for lyf basically . I'm currently playing Chaos;Head but can't really say i'm enjoying it too much, is this one of those VNs where it starts out pretty bad and then turns REALLY good (like Mirai Nikki)? Apart from VN's I also watch a good amount of anime which I started about 6-ish years ago with Inuyasha and only recently got back to with different titles. If you're interested in what anime's I've watched (for whatever reason) or which I will watch you can check my list here. About myself then I guess, I'm a 19 year old male person who lives in Belgium and studies in a field of engineering. I'm planning to start learning Japanese using guides on this forum this summer vacation or maybe a bit sooner, depends on how busy I am with school. Nice to meet you all and I hope we'll all get along.
