  1. Quite possible, well I'm glad you managed to solve it.
  2. Hmmm, after re-examining your first picture it doesn't seem that a cutscene starts after that dialogue which rules out codec issues. If you are still seeding, disable it and make sure all files can be opened (file properties, look at bottom to see if blocked), also try running as admin. If all else fails you may just need to reinstall.
  3. And you are running your computer in Japanese locale? Not just the application using AppLocale?
  4. I don't see the point is sharing this with every other member. Computers and smartphones nowadays (and since forever) have this awesome feature called a "notepad" in which you can write personal notes. If anyone was really interested in your activity they could rather easily go to your profile and click the "Posts" button.
  5. The uncensor patch will be separate and isn't complete yet afaik.
  6. Kamidori Alchemy Meister (God catching Alchemy Meister) Playing it now.
  7. Katawa Shoujo was a native Android APK that just required placing a obb file somewhere, so about 5 minutes. I haven't tried others yet but I can't imagine it'd take more than 15 minutes.
  8. My favourite anime is Angel Beats! and my favourite anime movie is Kotonoha no Niwa. Angel beats because it has the perfect combination of feels, humor and action and Kotonoha no Niwa because of the great art and story.
  9. Google Docs is pretty decent and it's free. As for your issue, just write after the picture (select picture, press right-arrow key, write).
  10. Now I feel extremely awkward about that H-scene... To be fair, they sound nothing alike though (except for Angel and Eichi). If it wasn't for VNDB it'd be difficult to figure that out while with Maou and Cookie-2 it's obvious.
  11. This is just too good, why is it good? It shouldn't be good!
  12. Yeah, I did realize that but with cookie-2 it's more 'direct' and less intimidating. I'm ashamed to admit I didn't even realize that.
  13. I got shivers during the haunted house scene in Chris' route solely because the demon seems to be voiced by Fukuyama Jun who voiced 'Maou' in G-Senjou no Maou. God damnit I love that guy.
  14. Did somebody say "VN folder"?! Mine is perhaps a little overprotected as it's stored on a Virtual Hard Drive file of 150Gb which in turn is encrypted with BitLocker:
  15. http://www.wolframalpha.com/ I do not recommend using this to solve all your problems, but if you pay for premium (which is cheap for students), you can get step-by-step solutions of complex mathematical equations. Only use it if you're stuck as it is a great help but you have to be able to do it yourself.
  16. ... hopefully stop taking over this thread. But not yet, because ...

  18. 9/10 - Really like the artstyle, who drew it?
  19. I always see consoles as something you play with friends or family and considering I always play Visual Novels in private, not too interested in that. As for handhelds, I am currently playing Katawa Shoujo again on Android, it should count as a handheld device... If I had a Vita I probably would buy VNs for it, it would work for handheld platforms. I just can't see myself reading a visual novel on a TV..
  20. I'd say Steam is currently doing a bang up job but since that's only since recently, we'll have to see what happens with that. Personally I got into the medium via a YouTuber (I think Jesse Cox but can't remember for sure) that played Katawa Shoujo, it seemed interesting to me so I downloaded the game and fell in love with the game and searched for some more, that way I found Fuwanovel and its easy torrents got me hooked even more because it was easy to get a VN, now it's a bit harder but that's a discussion for another topic. Fuwanovel is certainly doing something for Visual Novels as it keeps me interested and I get constant suggestions from other members so Fuwa keeps the fire fueled for me.
  21. It's different as in "more simplistic". It looks better but has less functionality. Oh and there are people in it, that also differentiates it from the old chat.
  22. Might as well give it a shot, voted for Kururu.
  23. It would be simple to implement IF the service wasn't ran by Invision themselves, I don't think nayleen can actually edit any internal mechanics.
