Thanks for posting these.
Btw 20k+ sold copies are considered really good, right?
-
I wonder what would they do if they got 100 "The best neko master!" backers.

Started Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou.
I have to say, the prologue at the beginning was executed beautifully. I'm really enjoying the game so far.

Yes, but most of the ones I know of all fall on the dark side. Min Dead Blood and Gore Screaming Show are the only ones coming to mind, since that's not really my thing.
Thanks! I will check them out.

Are there good non-nukige vns with evil heroines? Because that sounds interesting.
-
Looks like that was a good month for eroge/galge makers.
-
-
I hope these low-priced, short vns (like Nekopara and Frotwing's most recent title) won't be a common thing in the Japanese vn market.
-
The walkthrough says that the game ends after common route if you do not lock onto a heroine's route by then. Maybe that is your problem.

Grisaia no Kajitsu: Michiru
Mirai Nostalgia: Iori
Muv-Luv: Meiya, Ayamine
Tenioha: Matsuri-chan
Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai Road: Azusa
Hoshizora no Memoria: Komomo
Hapymaher: Saki
Sanoba Witch: Nene
And I could go on...

Inochi no Spare on 9th place with a mere 5k copies, which means they might have barely covered the production costs, if they were lucky enough. We can't possibly expect good games from the creators at the moment, when they don't even sell.
Someone once told me here that chuuni sells more over time but moe doesn't. I know that Inospare is not a chuuni but maybe it is true in this case too (because of the good story)

Wow, are trap protagonist really that popular now in the Japanese VN market or is it just a coincidence that the first two titles both have trap protags?
-
When I started watching subbed anime I enjoyed romantic comedies, harem and slice of life animes and the fact that most VNs have the same "feeling" in the common route was a very big factor why I got interested in visual novels in the first place. So because of that I've always enjoyed common routes. (And It's a bonus for me if they are long and maybe episodic too.)

I think darker themed VNs and heavily story focused VNs are better without it, but for charages, nakiges, and moeges it's a must.

Definitely looking forward to this one, although I'm a bit curious if Purple Software will try to 'over-compensate' the lack of H-scenes in Chrono Clock with this one.
Well, at least it's not tagged as nukige yet.
As long as the story is good I'm okay with the lot of H-scenes. Koku is my favorite artist.

Played the trial it was nice because of penguins.
But no way I can do Furofuro, Senren banka and Amatsutsumi all 3 the same month D:
I liked it too. Mikage is not my favorite writer, but I hope it will be better than Chrono Clock.
And yeah, so many big titles in July. I have no idea which one should i read first.

Not really.
My main problem with Let's Plays is that I like to immerse myself in the story. So I don't care about his reactions and commentary when he is reading. Only at the beginning or at the end of the video. And so far the only lets player I like to watch is ZEN who although reads in Japanese, but he has a really nice voice and good voice acting.

There's no true true (canon) ending for tokyo babel overall, but every route has a true end.
Setsuna's end is a slight branch from Lilith's true end; it's nothing special really.
I see. Thank you!

I'm currently reading Tokyo Babel (which is awesome btw) and I have a question about Lilith's route:
SpoilerIn the walkthrough Setsuna's Ending is the last one. Does that imply that you are supposed to read that one last to get the proper true ending for the whole story?

I remember reading this in Japanese, and because I'm a Michiru fan, I enjoyed it very much.

Isn't 100k for subtitles and 200k for a short VN a little too much?
