  1. Most of my knowledge on hacking came from doing research online. I usually only read up on stuff when I come across an encryption I can't decipher. Most game files (like .CPK for PSP, .bin, etc.) already have programs that can extract them, so I suggest keeping a stock of extraction tools. Debugging tools and hex editors are also useful, especially when decrypting files or locating specific files. Your knowledge on coding will be useful for making your own decryption tool (when you can't find one that can do the job) and making game trainers (which is usually a last resort when you really can't decrypt the file, so you overwrite them in the process memory). You'll slowly learn more techniques as you hack more games. xD
  2. Try using a normal LZ/LZSS decompressor and see if it works. Otherwise, I suggest searching around for how other PSP games released by 5pb were compressed. It might give you a clue. "sub_B4164 does the decompression, $a0 is output buffer and $a1 is input. " <-- I'm assuming sub_B4164 is a file inside OBJSY.cpk. Buffers are basically temporary memory locations where those images are stored before and after compression. Do you mind sending me the OBJSY.cpk file? I'd like to give it a try with the current tools I have.
  3. System text and images are sometimes separated from the other game images and grouped with system files. In this case, I'm guessing they're either encrypted (so they'd be one of the dat files) or are packed elsewhere. What files are in OBJSY.cpk specifically?
  4. I hope it does work to disrupt the propaganda. It has a lot of potential to.
  5. What does eevee evolve into if you give it a French stone?

    Books!

I'm not picky when it comes to genres. I read just about any books both fiction and non-fiction. My favorites are books by Haruki Murakami like After Dark and The Wind-Up Bird Chronicles. @Ezyo: Oh, I have a copy of that in my shelf xD
  7. I like both long and short ones. xD The next person likes cats.

  9. You're welcome to rewrite them and add them to the video. (^^) If you want some stuff clarified, feel free to ask. The crouching down part goes something like... that leaning forward preparatory pose you do before running and making a jump in track and field. I can't think of a good wording for it. Crouching down could work. xD The 'I'm driving to your town' part literally goes 'I'm driving until [your] town'. Just putting these notes to help you come up with alternative wordings. You can also keep your edits as they are.
  10. My sister does most of the work. I just help when I have nothing better to do. xD
  11. Yeah. I agree that there's some improvement, but there are still a great deal of good games out there that haven't been localized. I wish some of the PSP VNs would be localized, but the chances of that are incredibly low.
  12. I feel like some games or anime purposely make traps cute. @_@
  13. Oh! Thank you! She's so adorable. xD The first VN I played was Starry Sky. lol I installed it for my sister cause her friend suggested it to her, so decided to check out the game for myself. The first VN that I encountered, however, was Pure Pure. I came across a screenshot and thought it looked interesting. Back then, the game was pretty hard to find. I didn't find it until a few years after.
