You really should have bought it from FAKKU instead.
No one should be supporting visual novels on Steam, buy them elsewhere.

Based on the post they don't have an actual translator anymore but are looking for one. They are pretty much just doing all the tech work(hacking and text insertion).  I'm sure if you contact them they'd be more than happy to have you do translations otherwise it sound like they'll just use a machine translator(probably googles auto-translator).

That doesn't mean they won't have any influence on the English translations. Unlikely yeah, but not impossible. I'm sure there will be at least a few Chinese people who will want to read the English translations to improve their English. Keeping the translations more accurate would be beneficial to Hikari Field for this reason.
It's also their loss since they aren't getting money from me. Sooner or later I'll get to reading some of them with machine translations since they are more accurate than NekoNyan.

One of the main problems I have is a lot of the times it doesn't accurately represent the characters personality. In Fureraba there is red haired chick that's supposed to be a classic tsundere, but all the swearing in her dialogue turns her into an American bitch. I'm pretty sure most of us that read VNs are weebs and we actually enjoy the Japanese anime trope character archetypes. Localization companies seem so hell bent on removing those aspects of a character and changing the characters into an American archetype that is similar. I know I sure as hell don't want that. I want a translation that keeps as much of the Japanese anime culture present as possible while still having sentences that flow well. A lot of the times I see people try defend the overly liberal translations by saying 'native English people don't talk like that'. The fuck do I care about how actual English people speak. I want to see how the Japanese anime character speaks, but in English.

No it wouldn't, injecting boorish westerm vulgarities into a non-vulgar speech is not an equivalent of referring to someone informally.
    Example:
"O-omae!" (informal, somewhat disrepectful way of referring to someone by saying "You".)
    Murrican libral translation:
"YOU asshole, I'll fuck your shit up bastard!"

Sekai is heavily to blame for this though. They should have understood that and aimed to release as fast as possible instead of putting it in the icebox. Hell the title I'm looking forward to the most from them is still in the icebox(Tenshin Ranman).

Not surprised this didn't sell well. I didn't buy it, the aspect ratio and resolution are way too out of date. Other things that keep me away from it are multiple protagonists, cut content, and the art doesn't look all that good. I put a lot of emphasis on the 'visual' part of visual novel. You can have the best story in the world, but if I don't like the art I find myself having very little motivation to play it.

I kind of hope it goes horribly bad and it leads to Moenovel finally dying. I don't want their hands on more titles after this. The sooner Moenovel goes away the better.

While I've never experienced a change like this from a VN I do believe they can impact someone this heavily. Pretty much any form of entertainment can impact someone like this(music, movies, tv series, book, etc). I feel like it's more likely to happen if you are younger or are going through a harder time in your life.

When I've read all the routes I'm interested in. No option for it so I figured I'd post it. An example would be Hatsukoi 1/1 where I read all routes except for Kyou because her pizza obsession annoyed me.

MoeNovel devs gave me a warning on the steam discussions for this topic http://steamcommunity.com/app/745960/discussions/0/2906376154330413460/
It's the most I've ever heard from them though, now if only we could get the same for the censorship. For those interested in seeing the warning message I'll put it below. It's just a typical response you'd expect though. I put little edit on the bottom of the steam post to try keep it from getting deleted again.
"Hi, I'm afraid that I have to issue you a warning regarding your post. Both the original post and this post have been flagged to us as encouraging hate within the forums. As much as we want to allow our users free speech and the freedom to express their opinion openly, we still have to abide by Steam's rules. Should this thread deteriorate down into a hate-encouraging speech, we will be forced to remove it again. We hope that you will understand this and consider the Steam forum rules.

Probably not, your best bet is to wait on the re-translation patch at this point considering how close it is to getting completed. As a warning though from what I understand the patch will not be compatible with the English Moenovel version of the VN. Hopefully it remains this way otherwise it incentivizes people to purchase the MoeNovel version of the VN.

Codesterz got a reaction from Canicheslayer in Tenioha! Surprise Stealth English Official Release on Nutaku
This does not allow you to contact the developers. I sent a message through it yesterday and received a response from a Nutaku Customer Service Specialist. This was the reply I was given "Hello, Thanks for contacting Nutaku Support. The developers of Tenioha! : Girls Can Be Pervy Too! decided to remove this content. We were not aware of this until it was reported by our users."

If someone releases an uncensor patch for it I'd be willing to play it. This means adding the missing CGs into the game and translating the removed scenes. Otherwise no this company can go fuck itself.

Not every VN is some masterfully written work guys. The vast majority of them are focused on the "how they got from point A to point there is a dick inside this girl now". Hate me all you want, I'll still enjoy what I like.

I see no issue with people doing machine edited translations. If there was someone interested in translating this it would have already happened or be in the process of getting worked on. If I had to choose between reading a machine translation or a machine edited translation I'd choose the edited one any day.

I wish you the best of luck ratboi, please don't listen to all the negative people. There are plenty of people who will appreciate the time and effort you put into it if you can finish it.

An edited machine translation takes the "potentially" bad translations and makes it readable. So instead of trying to decipher the damn sentence, someone has been kind enough to decipher it for you. It makes reading the VN flow much better. Most people who would read machine translations with things like VNR and don't know Japanese(such as myself) would prefer an edited one.

Who wouldn't prefer a real translation? But the truth of the matter is MANY VNs out their will never receive a proper translation and for people who can't read Japanese an edited machine translation is often the next best option.. Edited machine translations can bring some good things. For 1 it increases awareness of a VN which could potentially lead to a a real translation project. If the devs don't want their faces to be spit in they could just get it localized themselves. Else they can go suck a f*cking nut(to put it nicely ).
