  1. I won't say that the story itself sucks. Well, first game doesn't really have one, but Shuumatsuron was okay for the most part. The biggest problem this series has is that the writer cannot properly end his stories, endings are sudden, abrupt and don't bring any satisfying conclusion. Hell, they don't bring any conclusion. Plus Shuumatsuron feels a bit rushed, that's probably because they were trying to put way too much into the single game. But yeah, AkaGoei has really good humour and protag-kun is ultra badass. I would recommend reading it, if you can stomach bullshit endings.
  2. Reading Reminiscence now. AkaGoei was funnier, but I like it so far. Shame that routes and endings suck as much as they did in AkaGoei though, as I heard at least.
  3. Ren'ai 0 Kilometer is pretty fun. Haven't read the other game from ASa Project - Hitotsu Tobashi Ren'ai, but people say it's quite fun too. Also Akatsuki no Goei series has hilarious dialogues and characters, so you can give it a shot.
  4. 1. Subarashiki Hibi 2. Cross†Channel 3. Shiei no Sona-Nyl
  5. Sometimes reread my favorite moments and scenes from VN's I like, if they still happen to be installed. The only thing I've replayed wholly is Cross+Channel.
  6. I really love art in Sona-Nyl, but it's not translated. Well, Sharnoth and Inganock are nice too. I also like graphics in Kamidori and Ef.
  7. Reading Hapymaher now. Not bad so far.
  8. Not really into LN's. Last time I read one was like 2~3 years ago - it was Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria on Baka-Tsuki, and at that time I thought it was pretty good. Don't feel like reading new volumes now, since I forgot almost everything about first 4.
  9. Skype: lithglir // but I don't really use it. And the stuff in signature.
  10. Finished Sayonara wo Oshiete a couple of days ago. Awesome denpa, feels a liitle like mix of Saya no Uta and SubaHibi. I'll probably start Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai now.
  11. And god bless them for that. What I meant is that characters took things way too seriously than they should've and these problems-out-of-nothing felt somewhat weird.
  12. Watching GJ-bu and it's pretty fun. I need to watch comedies like this more often. I've also been thinking about rewatching Evangelion and it's rebuilds, since Eva 3.0's blu-ray comes out next week.
  13. Finished Sena's (maid) route in Noble Works. I guess I liked it, though it was nothing that special. Her "drama and problems" didn't really feel like, well, drama and problems to me. Since I'm not in the mood for more moe now, started Sayonara wo Oshiete, VERY good so far: I just love it's weidness and dark atmosphere (But I'm a Denpa-fag so nevermind )

    Hello

This looks oddly fami---*cough* Oh, well. Nice to meet you!
  15. I'm actually reading this mostly because of her. Just finished common part and started her route. It seems cute-moe-maids-with-lewd-fantasies are my fetish.
  16. Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Not really. I do occasionally post on some forums, but that's it. There aren't that much places where you can discuss vn's to begin with.
  17. True. I, for example, absolutely loved this game and all it's crazy denpa stuff. Especially 'It's my own Invention' chapter. I also liked all these witty philosophy talks, even though I don't get Wittgenstein in the slightest Also, being Zakuro is suffering. As for what I am reading now - started Noble Works, surprisingly fun so far.
  18. Hello, everyone! Finally decided to make an account here. I'm pretty much your-average-anime-vn-andother-weeaboo-stuff-nerd. Got into vn's somewhere in 2009~2010 and my first novel was Symphonic Rain, which still is one of my favorites. Seeing how "many" english (not to speak of russian - my native language) translated vn's there are and how unreadable machine translations are, at some point I started learning japanese about a year-or-so ago. I still suck at it and can't read "real deal" titles without looking errrry damn minute in the dictionary though. But enough of my butthurt. I really like the community here and I hope we can get along.
