  1. I preordred on Rightstuf as soon as it was up there, but I'm actualy kinda glad it got delayed until now, it fits better with my budget. >_>;; Still excited for it though.
  2. I went kinda figure crazy and ordered the recently released Momo Belia Deviluke and preordered this glorious Tharja from Fire Emblem Awakening. Momo's price already went up from 7900 to 10200 Yen on the very same day I placed my order.(on the same website) Pretty lucky I placed my order just in time without realising it! XD
  3. I've been reading To Love-ru Darkness lately. Currently about halfway through volume 3, though I got my hands on the french edition up to volume 7. I'm also up to volume 3 of Chihayafuru and volume 3 of Non Non Biyori as well. Both are very good reads. Chihaya is still one of my favorite heroines.
  4. Nisekoi had its best episode so far this week IMHO. It was laugh out loud hilarious and there was at least one trippy animation sequence(thanks Shaft!). Just when I was thinking "Hum, this guy looks even more effeminate than Raku.". LOL I don't really expect anything from the romance aspect of the show so maybe that's why I'm not disapointed by it. Also, there was cameo of the main characters from Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun on the latest Hozuki no Reitetsu! Woot! Kill la Kill continues to blow my mind, and Log Horizon remains solid. Tonari no Seki-kun is proving rather amusing as well. Pupa seems to be slowly revealing its storyline bit by bit, and I still need to watch the latest Chuu2-Ren episode.
  5. The only gore artist I know is Waita Uziga. From a quick google search it seems you can read some of his works on guromanga.com It's too much for my tastes but you might enjoy it.
  6. Nakige and Utsuge. Donkan protagonist can be funny from time to time, though it's not something I actively look for. I also just stumbled upon Ejaculation Choice while looking at the tags on Kara no Shoujo and thought that was sortof amusing. http://vndb.org/g1356
  7. My pleasure! I mentionned the game to some of my friends on another forum in hope some of them might be interested. (In both the Gaming news and Monthly Spoils threads haha.) I'm about to start the game now, hopefully my dinoPC won't give me too much trouble. (I can play Binding of Isaac, I should be fine lol. Otherwise I'm due to upgrade before the end of the year anyway.)
  8. Haha, not so far away from the truth. Mine isn't nearly that bad, but there are still clothes on the floor most of the time. I would be a bit embarassed to have a room completely filled with anime stuff like the one in that picture, but the other one feels a bit cold, though I admit it looks classy. I like something inbetween those two extremes I suppose.
  9. I just saw an article about your game on Siliconera and thought that was pretty cool. Hopefully it will do well for you. B) http://www.siliconera.com/2014/02/20/atelier-merurus-voice-actress-new-job-unhacking/
  10. Yeah, K-On! was great! I got the first season on dvd recently since it was on sale at a local store, and I still had a blast re-watching it. (Season 2 and the movie are a bit too expensive for my tastes, so I'm sticking with fansubs for now.) Azu-nyan is so cute and the rest of the cast is awesome as well. The song for Azu-nyan was indeed an awesome moment full of feels. I rewatched a few of my dvds during my last two days off, after Akira I rewatched Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Still a beautiful movie, I quite enjoyed seeing it again. I also finished rewatching FLCL, still fun to watch as well. I also got a few shows I hadn't seen, but had heard lots of good things about, thanks to money I made selling some expensive MTG cards I had no use for(225$ for 8 cards). I got Maria Holic, Maria Holic Alive and Mushishi, all on dvd.(also got some manga) I finished the first disc of Mushishi, and it's looking quite good so far. I've only watched two episodes of Maria Holic, but it looks pretty funny and as expected there's the quirky visuals from Shaft.
  11. 51x122 cm, the only part that's not filled in is her feet, which I just fold underneath. They had longer ones at Sears, but to save 40$ it still does a fine job for what little use it has. (Money that went towards my anime collection instead!)
  12. Not sure about the availability in your area, but I got mine at Wal-Mart for around 12$. It's a little shorter than the real ones from Cospa, but still looks and hugs very nice.

  14. I got those books from the Mandarake's online store, and yes Tony Taka is the guy who draws for the Shining series.(The doujins I got were from Bakemonogatari, Clannad and F/SN) It takes a bit more work to find them on Manda, but it's a lot cheaper than the few doujinshi importers I've seen while scouring the internet and the only other alternative I know of is ordering through a proxy.(or maybe amazon for official artbooks) That Mikan figure is really cute, there's a long unfoldable centerfold type illustration of this same pose in the arbook I got. It's very cute, I would be tempted to get it if there weren't so many others that I want. XD (Though I would probably get this Momo if I were to get a TLD figure http://myfigurecollection.net/item/144400 )
  15. I had also been thinking of changing my Fuuko lately, but when you've had the same one for so long it kind of feels like part of your identity. lol
  16. My bad, I jumped to conclusions when I saw Type-Moon I guess. The size of the screenshot can lead to confusion for non-fans.
  17. For the longest time I thought it was Ryoji Kaji from Eva, only to realise much later it was Emiya Kiritsugu. Damn my observational skills sometimes! XD While I've also come to associate you with that avatar, I say follow your heart.
  18. While I don't usualy watch a lot of fan-service heavy shows, I admit I probably wouldn't have watched To Love-ru Darkness if it wasn't for the fanservice. Finaly a show that assumes itself has an erotic comedy and does it very well to boot, I would even dare say that it was the best fanservice I've seen in anime so far. As a fan of erotica in general, be it western(Manara for example) or japanese, this show kind of renewed my interest in ecchi manga/anime. Definitely not the type of show I watch when my roommate is around though, but I still wouldn't want it to toned down. It came as a nice surprise after some fairly average seasons. I started reading the manga recently and so far it seems the anime was also pretty faithful. Concerning the fan-service in Monogatari, I think if it's actualy well done artistically, most people won't really mind. Of course there are still some who get offended by anything remotely sexual. I'm sure the Kamui suits in Kill la Kill must've made more than one person uncomfortable. lol As for what I'm watching, aside from the weekly shows I've been mostly watching some of my DVDs these past few days. I just rewatched Akira which I hadn't watched in a few years. Still a great movie, I'm in love with the music. I've added a few shows to my CR queue, but am not sure what I want to start.
  19. Luckily you can still get more villagers everyday by doing "Update Data", so it doesn't penalize those who can't use streetpass too much. Some people I know find that the Village system kind of "breaks" the game by making strong equipment available faster though. As for streetpassing here, I often get a few when I ride the bus to work, though not every day.
  20. Those Madoka Nendoroids are pretty cool. I was once tempted to get Homura, but they look a lot cooler when together. Not exactly figures, but I got some more loot the other day that I thought I'd share. Kentarou Yabuki's "Venus" hardcover artbook, featuring artwork from To Love-Ru Darkness(and a lot of nswf!), along with a few doujinshi by Tony Taka, as well as a few others. The artbook is even prettier than I imagined.
  21. Other than the lack of difficulty, I've been really enjoying Bravely Default. (Raising the difficulty to hard as we speak, after another ridiculously easy boss battle.) I'm guessing the things that make me and many others love this game are probably the same that make many others dislike it. It definitely feels and plays like an old school Squaresoft game, which is something I've been missing. The various config options make it possible to shape the game a little closer to your playstyle, though I've pretty much only messed with the encounter rate to backtrack without getting annoyed by battles. My village has also been growing very fast thanks to all the people I streetpassed recently.
  22. My roommate has zero interest in anime, but I bought Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt on blu-ray the other day and he actualy sat down watched some with me, which almost never happens when I watch anime on our main TV. I think the uniqueness of the visuals and the vulgarity of the dub probably got him curious. He usualy only pays attention when I watch some of the more visually interesting shows, like when I was watching Monogatari Series. Also, my friend I mentionned earlier still watches Naruto religiously despite refusing to watch almost anything else. He seemed a bit miffed that there would be guns in the next season of SAO lol.

  24. I have a friend who only watched Naruto for a long time until I somehow convinced him to watch SAO when it first aired. He really enjoyed it, but still refused to watch any of the other series I told him about, claiming he didn't have the time to watch a lot of series.(He spends too much time with his MTG cards heh.) I finaly got him interested in watching another series last summer with Attack on Titan, since he had heard some of our other friends had been watching it as well. I almost managed to convince him to watch Railgun S, but he apparently prefers shows that have swords in them. @_@;; Otherwise most of my friends who do watch anime only like the action/adventure or the gory/horror/sci-fi types of shows and want to hear nothing about slice of life or romcom unless it's Miyazaki or something like that.
  25. I picked up my preorder of Bravely Default last Friday and I don't think I'll be playing anything else for awhile. Still, I'm almost done with SMTIV, so I will try to shoe in some game time to finish it once my BD fever goes down a little.
