  1. After finishing my third route in Little Busters!(Yuiko) and starting Haruka's, I felt like reading something a little different and thus started a new game of Fate/Stay Night. Really enjoying it so far, still pretty early into the game though. I've also been thinking of starting over on Umineko since I lost my save last month, I was at episode 3 so hopefully the text skipping won't be too slow. I had started the PS3 patch version, but I'm thinking about simply installing my DVD copy and play from it, though the voices were pretty cool so I'm not sure yet.

  3. It's kind of a cliché answer, but I'd still have to say Clannad After Story. Despite the ending it's one of the rare shows that left me with "feels" for a few days after finishing the show. If I had to choose something else, I'd probably say Grave of the Fireflies, it gets at least a few tears from me every single time. From more recent shows I have to admit I cried during about half of Chuunibyou Demo Koi Ga Shitai. As for manga, I haven't read anything but gag/comedy manga in a while, but I think I vaguely remember shedding a tear at some point when I read 20th Century Boys. For something actualy depressing, not necessarily sad, I'd have to say MPD Psycho or Gantz probably. edit : I had completely forgotten about this one since it has been a few years that I read it.(and watched the live action movie) Dragon Head is actualy what I'd qualify as the mot depressing manga I've read. Well, they're all pretty depressing anyway. Also thinking back on it Kimi Ga Nozomi Eien was also one of the most depressing shows I've watched as well. Takayuki's attitude certainly didn't help.
  4. Strange I can access Erogamescape juste fine and I live in Canada. (still can't access other well known blockers such as Akabeisoft2 though) Unless I'm missing something.
  5. I just finished episode 1. It's a bit laggy on my crappy old PC, but it was still quite fun. Also, I lol'ed at "Tinder Surprise". Adding this to my bookmarks now so I can play more later.
  6. This seems very interesting, I'm always up for more indie games. I'm gonna have to try this soon.

  8. I finished Komari's and Rin's first route in Little Busters!. I'm really enjoying it so far, I even find myself enjoying the practices and battle sequences. Now started Kurugaya's path. (In other news I lost all my other downloaded VNs due to an accident with my external hard drive. Something like 50 of them plus my progress in a G-Senjou, Sharin, Utawarerumono and a few others. I've been trying to recover my files but it seems pretty hopeless. Argh.)
  9. I just started Cross Game, seems like my kind of show and everything I've read about it makes it seem that I'll love it. :)/> I also watched Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien a little while back. I liked it, it was indeed pretty emotional, and Takayuki really comes off as a big jerk.(I kept expecting him to bone Akane lol)
  10. I have a bad habit of starting too many games at the same time, and it's the same for visual novels. Whenever I see one that seems interesting I get the urge to at least try it. Unfortunately seeing as I work full time I only have a few hours to play/read every night (and sometimes I feel like going out to a friend's or simply doing something else), I end up having to put most of them on hold and I try to stick to a maximum of 2 or 3 VNs at a time. I try to spend at least 3 hours sessions on my current "main" whenever I have the time. I'm also a longtime gamer, but VNs have more or less replaced my home gaming time, so I pretty much only game on the go nowadays. (currently playing Devil Summoner Soul Hackers) I also watch some anime, but I drop shows pretty fast if they seem uninteresting, and I keep most of my watch time for after I'm done gaming, when I'm tired.
  11. Something like this I guess : 1 - Monster 2 - Steins;Gate 3 - Clannad : After Story 4 - Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood 5 - Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni Kai 6 - Fate/Stay Night 7 - The Girl Who Leapt Through Time 8 - Cromartie High School (I prefer the manga though) 9 - Thermae Romae 10 - Berserk movie 2. (I have great expecations for number 3)
  12. I've only been following Yondemasu Yo Azazel-San! Z so far this season. Not quite as goods as season 1 IMO, but still very entertaining.
  13. I finished Clannad a while back and have been trying a bunch of VNs since then. I'm currently mostly reading Little Busters!, with a little G-Senjou no Maou and Utawarerumono on the side. I'm almost done with Komari's route in LB, looking forward to Rin, Kurugaya, Kud and Refrain. I'm also nearly done with Tsubaki's route in G-Senjou. I was also playing 999, but the release of Devil Summoner : Soul Hackers has distracted me from it for a bit.
  14. I currently own : Boxed : Clannad Memorial Edition, Umineko vol. 1 (chapters 1-4), Rose Guns Days season 1, 999, Virtue's Last Reward Download : - Corpse Party, Corpse Party : Book of Shadows, Hakuoki : Demon of the Fleeting Blossom I'm also waiting for my copy of Little Busters Perfect Edition coming in sometime soon from Amiami. My next purchases will probably be the first time I will try a courrier service.(probably Yokatta or Tenso, from the amazon marketplace) I'm planning to get over the next months: Umineko vol.2, Muv-Luv, Muv-Luv Alternative, Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. After that I'll probably either try to get the Akabeisoft2 titles or complete my Key collection.(yeah I love Key, sue me) Also probably gonna get Ef, if there is a decently priced bundle once the second part is officialy released. I only got back into visual novels with the release of Corpse Party(and PC VNs through Katawa Shoujo), though I had played most of JAST's releases back in the late 90's/early 2000'.
