I feel like I slept through half of it lol. At one point I was trying to find which episode I was up to when I fell asleep by watching the begining, but I had no idea since they were all more or less the same.
I already wasn't really digging it, so it didn't help my opinion of the show. I've been thinking I might need to rewatch the whole series eventualy to see if I was just missing something at the time, but I disliked it enough that I never felt enough motivation to watch a two and a half hours movie of it.Though I agree it was a pretty ballsy move from KyoAni.

I absolutely agree with Zalor. I think OELVN creators would benefit from exploiting settings that are more familiar to them rather than imitating the japanese stereotypes to cater to an established niche. I often see people on other forums who scoff at VNs because of their anime-like aesthetics, while they still love games like Telltale's or old adventure games for example.
I've had the idea of a VN set in ancient Rome before, but it's pretty much at the "table corner napkin sketch" level. >_>;;

Aside from my weekly shows, I've been mostly focusing on Hunter X Hunter since I want to catch up eventualy. The Hunter's exam is finaly over! lol. I still have over a hundred episodes to watch though.
I've also been rewatching some episodes of K-On!! here and there just for fun.

Speaking of Saber, I bought the July 2014 release of the wedding dress Saber (no idea which type she is) - link. it's so beautiful .. it's bigger than the average FIGMA figure. Not sure if I want to take it out of the box to be honest. I may not do that. It just looks so gorgeous. I still have similar version of this from the PSP Limited Edition that was released more than a year ago. I have yet to pop that box open. It's big ass box and it is filled with goods ... let me see where I can find a link to that one. Here.
I just saw this one so I'm debating if I want to buy it. Obviously and absolutely not from eBay. I'll have to do my own research .. but wow how the hell did I manage not to catch this one?! D:

Saber! Back when I had only watched the anime I used to favor Tohsaka, but now I can't get enough of Saber. I already have two figures of her. (Well, technicaly it's Saber Lily and Saber Alter.)
I also think all the Grisaia ladies are pretty hot, can't really choose one though I might slightly favor Sacchin, or Yumiko simply because she looks like Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari.(both designs by Akio Watanabe I guess?) Also special mentions to the other Fate/Stay Night girls and Kyou Fujibayashi from Clannad.

The Legend of Heroes : Trails in the Sky, which I got on GOG yesterday. I have already played and loved the PSP version a few years ago, but I'm in love with this game all over again.
I've also been playing To Love-Ru Darkness : Battle Ecstasy on the Vita. I'm getting near the regular ending, which is only a stepping stone on my path to unlocking the true ending. Combat is fun, but the color swapped enemies are getting a little tedious by the level I'm at. The poking and rubbing game that occurs when you defeat one of the girls (or the Principal as I recently learned!
) is also kind of fun in its own way. Missing from the game are Run, Kyouko, Saki Tenjouin, and a few other minor characters, but there's still Lala, Momo, Nana, Yami, Yui, Haruna, Mea, Mikan, Nemesis and Riko(gender swapped Rito) as a secret character. -

That's actualy pretty cool.
My favorite Nintendo era. Sadly the only remaining games from my Nes/Snes days are Super Mario World and FFIII US. I find many of the japanese boxarts for the Super Famicom pretty cool, I've been tempted in the past to import Romancing SaGa 3 just for the box lol. -
I just happened to watch the first episode of Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, which I had been meaning to for a while actually. It was indeed pretty funny, I think I'm gonna keep on watching. Not sure if it'll break my top 5 for this season, but we'll see.
I also completely forgot that I had started Aldnoah Zero the first week it aired, I might pick it back up eventualy.

How much did you spend for the Fate Stay Night VNs?
Fate/Stay Night was 4500 Yen, Fate/Hollow Ataraxia was 4000 Yen and Mahoyo 4000 Yen as well, all from Mandarake.co.jp. I got Stay Night in 2013 and both Fate/Hollow and Mahoyo in May of this year. Fate/Hollow came with a cool set of class cards, while Mahou Tsukai No Yoru came with an artbook.

I take back what I said about Solanin being less depressing than Punpun, many feels where to be had starting from the end of volume 1. ;_; Very good work from Inio Asano once again, probably my favorite manga artist or tied with Urasawa maybe.
The first volume of Taiyou Matsumoto's Sunny turned out to be pretty interesting as well, I'm looking forward to reading the rest of it.
I also finished reading K-On College and K-On High School by Kakifly, which turned out more entertaining than I expected. It was kinda cool seeing the story continue after then end of the anime, but it was mostly a nice, funny and relaxing read that made me smile much like the anime. It convinced me it might be worth reading the main manga series after all.
I also decided to catch up on Berserk, but first I wanted to reread starting from where the movies ended since I had stopped reading around the release of volume 28 which was a while back and I feel I don't remember enough.
I rarely read online scans, but I also started Inio Asano's latest manga series, Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction. Looking good so far. I've also been kinda interested in starting Cesare by Fuyumi Souryo. I'm also still waiting on my copy of the french edition of "No Longer Human" by Usamaru Furuya to ship from Amazon but it seems backordered.

After having watched most of last week's episodes, here my current top 5 of the season so far :
1. Barakamon I had a really good feeling about this when I saw the manga at my local store and have not been disapointed so far. Really my favorite kind of slice-of-life.
2. Zankyou no Terror Great seinen thriller like we get too few of, I'm really enjoying it so far. As of this episode I'm not sure if I want to root for the terrorists or the police.
3. Akame ga Kill! The hype was right, great action show with interesting characters and story.
4. SAO2 I wasn't all that hyped after the ALO arc, but I've been enjoying it so far. Sinon is my new favorite SAO girl.
5. Hanayamata My surprise of the season, I would've probably missed it if a friend hadn't mentionned it. Really cute and amusing.
I've also been struggling not to drop Glasslip, have been kind of enjoying Tokyo ESP as a campy action show filled with all sorts of references and cameos, and have been falling behind on Blue Spring Ride.

Yikes, 46.7Gb. Probably the biggest torrent I ever downloaded. lol I haven't had the time to check every artist, but I'm sure that if I've been able to spot Homunculus from a quick glance(I love their Bakemonogatari doujins), there are big chances there might be more.
Yeah, Wani are the dicks here, I don't really have anything against fakku and was even planning on buying if they ever released anything that interests me.

I have no idea what Wani publishes, so I have no idea if this actualy affects any of the stuff I download, but this does indeed suck. I really hate this kind of legal crap, even when it doesn't affect me personally. *goes to look for those batches, just in case*
