  1. Hmmm. My first VN that I read would be Katawa Shoujo, back in early 2013. I remember I was sailing the pirate seas that time, and saw "Katawa Shoujo."

I was like, "Wut, Japanese titled game with English trans? Meh, guess I'll try it."

Finished the game in a day or two, only stopping for lunch and dinner. Sadly, even though it was my first VN, it didn't strike me as much as my next VN, which was Yume Miru Kusuri.

Damn, now that VN left a really deep impression on me.

  2. Usually try to lock my door while i'm reading VN's. My mom is kind of old fashioned and would automatically assume its porn. But there was one moment during the shower scene with Usami in G-Senjou no Maou when the screen went black so I didn't minimize when she walked into my room, and let's just say that the accidental mouse press was very strong in me that day. Luckily Alt+F4 never fails me, though it still popped up to verify if I wanted to exit it, was an interesting moment overall.

Yes, if there's no panic button in the VN, there should be at least an option to turn off the "Are you sure you want to exit the game?" verification. Time is of the essence for these kinds of things!

  3. Lots of funny and embarrassing moments. Good thing it never happened to me. Although there were quite a few close calls. People in my house occasionally have silent footsteps, suddenly opening doors and scaring the hell out of me. Good thing I quick-save often, as I usually just Alt-F4 it. They really should put panic buttons into more VNs.

Unfortunately, as I've started working, I am not playing VNs anymore. My way of playing VNs would be to play as much as possible in one go, before stopping or resting, usually 6-8 hours. So, hopefully, on my next vacation, I can play some VNs again.

  4. Hi guys!

First of all, I'm living in Hong Kong. EME blocked HK IPs because there's a Chinese Tera publisher, but I want to play Tera (US) because my friends are playing there right now. So, what I want to ask is what VPNs are good for playing Tera?

Also, if the VPN server that I'm on is P2P blocked, does that mean I can't play Tera? This is the first time that I'm using a VPN to play an online game, so, I really don't know what to do or what settings or stuff I should change.

  5. I guess for me it would be:

    1. clueless protagonist or heroine/heroines about the feelings of the other

    2. H-scenes that have such ridiculous amounts of moaning.

    3. forced comedy moments/scenes.

Well, I guess that's it. Can't really complain much, as I didn't really play that much VNs.

  6. Hey guys! Just wanted to watch an "old" anime, but I forgot about the name. Can anyone help me? I remember that in the first episode, the main character was a guy student. I think he was on his way home, when he saw a girl being attacked. So, he rushed to the scene and pushed the girl away, saving her. But, he got pierced through the heart, killing him. But he woke up, and the girl he saved earlier explained to him something about his heart is now shaped like a "disc-shaped thingy"?

Oh yeah, the guy's weapon is, I think, a spear? I mean the disc-y thingy changes into a spear weapon for him.

If anyone can give me a name... That'd be great! :D

  7. Agreed with what others said about reading Unlimited before doing MLA. When I first read MLU, I think I just fast forwarded it to hell, only bothering to read when there's mecha actions. Then, when I got to MLA, there were some stuffs/events that I cannot relate to, because they happened in MLU. It got to a point where it just became annoying, and I ended up fastforwarding much of MLA to hell as well. Which was the dumbest mistake I could make. >_<

  8. > The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini

    > Artemis Fowl Series and other books by Eion Colfer

    > Halo novels

    > Splinter Cell novels

    > Alex Rider series and The Power of Five by Anthony Horowitz

    > Maximum Ride Series by James Patterson

Also, Fifty Shades of Grey.... nah, I'm joking.
