Ever17, route 1 - Tsugumi.

Whaaat a boring piece of shit.
5.5/10 would be sufficent grade. Nothing ever happened, and in few moments (because not even 'scenes') when something interesting was mentioned, like in a tag game when
it was abruptly cut and never mentioned again. Terrible writting. And that
ending? Laughable.
Tsugumi herself was an edgy, emo, horrible character. Not worst piece of shit ever, but it was painfull to interact with her. And although her 'problem' was interesting, it wasn't enough to emphasize with her enough to made up for her annoying quirks. But I loved when near the end protag finally
 
And protag himself? What a moron... At first I started reading Kid/You route (went as far as repairing reactor during blackout) and he was much much more smarter that Takeshi. All those stupidity around not understanding 
made me cringe. I'm really affraid about Sora route.
But okay, next will be Sora route I still have hope that true route will be as great as everybody is saying it will be. But... I got spoiled. By creators themselves. After the route were the credits.
So thanks for that... fuckers.
But despite that last thing and Tsugumis' character I'm not annoyed by this VN. It's boring but overall pleasant read. Well, maybe not 'pleasant' but it's not making me angry, it's not insulting me. Like f.e. Period did.

Next thing - I'm a little dissapointed by 'themes'

Also - it have worst translation I ever seen. A lot of errors, mistakes in gramma, spelling or even translation errors like in 'turing test' -> 'tooling test'.

And last one minor thing - start of the routes are much stronger in Kid side. Everything is explained deeper, clearer and reading all those more advanced explanations in his routes after Takeshi routes and their shallow explanations is probably not a very good idea. But as you all said, the story and mysteries will probably flow better in Tsugumi->Sora->You->Sara order.

I would say its not a horror at all.
It's just a dark story with really 'heavy' themes, as mentioned in Funyarinpas' spoiler. 
But nothing really 'creepy', for me at last. It was dark, dense, intense, overwhelming with it's atmosphere - yes, but I was not scared even for a second. Also definitelly no jump scares, no scary imagery.

If you watch movies, probably Guillermo del Toros' Crimson Peak would be closest. Gothic, dark romance story in delicate 'horrorish' setting. 

None of these titles you listed are pure fap games.  These have quality story.
The definitive NTR game is Boku no Kanojo wa Gatenkei (I'm sure Maro no Kanja wa Gatenkei is good also).  I didn't eat for 24+ hours and lost 5 pounds while reading that.  That's what I expect from a good NTR game: emotional investment.

think that one in particular is one of the very worst examples of thrilling and believable netorare. heck i even felt relieved when this most annoying piece of a wimp got his chicks screwed by others, btw. i couldnt care less. oyako rankan is pretty much on a same non-existing emotional level as dasaku & its fd, totally not possible to emphatize with anyone there, except for some of the formers heroines, maybee. not wanting to sound like an ass here, but the way it´s presented in a distant manner somehow reminds me at those short 2-3line-ish news about indian women got gangraped and killed, like you read it, you comprehend it, you forget it shortly after. always been under the impression netorare/netori is meant to hurt/feel great on an emotional level whilst reading, because you (reader) selfinsert into the protag aka the more believable and sympatic/asshole-ish he is to you, the better.

this is the personal opinion of a dude who even faps to mecha, so take his words with a grain of salt.

edit: good ones for example are the original "maro" from elf, some stuff by lune bitters, anim mm, or lilim. heck even "tsuma shibori" & "i can" had its moments, but the very vast majority of said genre is simply put uninspired trash which follows no logic and has no value to it, literary dick-cheese so to speak (apologizes for badmouthing dick-cheese)

There're many ways of saying the same thing. You can suggest something kindly or even give some good advice and another completely different is to say for example "just stop". 
While I don't agree with everything that Yaskob said I can't say anything to him because he gave the user some useful advice , see the difference there?

But I guess it's hard to leave all the pedantry and arrogance aside, it seems that the goal of the message was more to look down on the user and humiliate him rather than anything else.

The japanese tittle isn't as catchy and funny as this one.

That title is a winner for sure.

On behalf of the unnamed translation team that worked on the short game, Guilty Crown Lost Christmas, we are finally able to present to you an English patch for the game. The actual translation and editing has been completed a while ago, however technical issues that led to a very long delay. As for progress, due to vacation, good weather and stuff, there's not much to report really - I only did a few bits of Ageha's route lately, but it's almost done (there's only about 10% left to TL).

We don't know, and never will, because companies never talk about this kind of thing in public unless it goes to court.  And believe me, it won't.
Maybe Aroduc wanted too much money.  Maybe SP are skinflints and gave an insultingly low offer.  Maybe the folks over at Giga were not impressed that someone decided to work on the title without their permission, and told Sekai Project that he would not be acceptable to them.
I figure the most likely explanation is Sekai Project was secretly negotiating for Baldr Sky at the same time Aroduc was secretly fan translating it.  And that neither one knew what the other one was doing.  So SP might have already inked a contract with another translator to work on the project.  It's still fairly rotten for SP to not even straight up tell Aroduc 'sorry, we can't hire you' and subject him to the no-reply treatment.  That's just straight up unprofessional.
The no-reply treatment is fairly common in the world of business.  If I submit my resume to a bunch of different places, I expect to not really hear back from places that have no interest.  They just don't respond.  I don't expect places that were actively talking to me to suddenly stop.  If a company and I are talking, and they decide 'this isn't going to work out, we don't think we want to hire you after all', but they've already started talking to me, or I've already had an interview?  Very bad form to simply start stonewalling.
Honestly, I get the feeling that Sekai Project's troubles almost all seem to stem from the unprofessional way they seem to be handling public relations and communication.  This issue was never going to make Aroduc happy (his work on a game he didn't even like is now wasted), but blowing him off is just stupid and short-sighted.  What if they want to work with him in the future?
Likewise, all the controversy over will-they-won't-they on whether their recent announcements will get adult releases.  If you take one of their twitter comments at face value, the only reason they didn't announce the adult versions was time constraints.  Okay, so why haven't they since?  Why have we been left to read the tea leaves, and try to read into statements like "well this game was explicitly announced for Denpasoft and Steam, this other game was only announced for Steam".  They said they'd have news to share at AX about Maitetsu uncensored; they said the reason they didn't reveal it there was they ran out of time at the panel.  Then why didn't they announce it at Otacon?  Or online?
So either they lied, or they were telling the truth and somehow something came up.  If they lied, and have no plans to make any such announcements and are simply trying to shut people up - this is terribly unprofessional, and makes them look bad, and makes people not trust them.  If they were telling the truth, then they are simply incompetent at public relations, they're so bad that they can't even keep track of the things they said they'd announce, or they commit to announcing info they really intend to announce but then it turns out they can't.
Either way I think SP would do well to get this under control.  They're generating a LOT of ill will towards themselves unnecessarily.  Even if the answers are "no adult versions of games X, Y, and Z for now, sorry, we tried" - telling the truth would hurt less than this.

Editing numbers are misleadingly good this week because the script has some copy-pasted scenes from the prologue to the common route, which are now completed. There was also just plain more time spent on it this week than usual, so there's a fair bit of "real" progress there as well, including completion of our first fully-edited large section beyond the prologue (Prologue2_1, effectively the common route for one side of the game). On the other hand, less progress on TL this week than usual. A couple TLs have been busy with work, school, etc., and another reported in sick for a while with an adorable picture*. Good news is that he's up and at em again, and one of the TLs who has been tied up for a while is also back in the fray, so overall I expect this week to go down as a minor blip and progress to continue apace.
