  1. As for the VN itself, I would say play it if you only watch the first anime because the first anime was only adapted the first route (Fate). And if you watch the UBW anime there, I would still suggest you to play the VN because there's no adaptation for Heaven's Feel yet so far. As far as route concerned, the events for each route were different so you could play the VN there if you wonder about different route. PS - By the way most of the twist were revealed at Heaven Feel route, and I think Fate was reveal the least imo.
  2. Didn't care too much about antivirus to be honest, although I always activated it though just in case something going wrong.
  3. For now I'm gonna finishing Slavya route at Everlasting Summer and write some comment on that.
  4. Once again, I voted there and this time I chose Dies Irae, When They Cry series (Both of Higurashi and Umineko), and Steins Gate. No much comment other than so far it's quite predictable that well known VN would get much vote to be honest. As for 'Just For Fun' vote, in regard of fandisc I think the best two would be Ataraxia and Sharin FD because both of those sort of had some story part that somehow regarded as the sequel. But in the end I chose Ataraxia though if only because there's much interesting events there imo. For QC thing I voted for Family Projects because I think Family Project was more in need of QC because of the writer himself (Romeo Tanaka), while for Konosora the writer was probably only using some standard writing imo (Although both of those was in need of QC, okay). By the way for the dark setting I chose Swan Song because it's actually quite unavoidable, and therefore increasing the scariness factor imo (Also affected many people). While for Saya no Uta, I admit that it's quite scary but it's only happened to one people and therefore it's not quite terrifying enough.
  5. I want to vote Amairo because it's Yuzusoft and it should be a breather after read something like ChronoBox. But since you already read it, perhaps I could recommend Tayutama here just because it was the lightest VN out of the remaining choice. Regardless, have fun to read whichever VN that win the vote (Looks like it'll be Flowlove).
  6. As for the recommendations here, I think Da Capo 3 would be fit. If you want more there's Chrono Clock and Snow Sakur, also if you willing to wait Dal Segno would be released at 30th later (Translated of course). Hope those'll be help.
  7. This time the soundtrack was composed by famous Yasunori Matsuda, and it's from less known Action RPG for DS Soma Bringer. Enjoy, and by the way the music was dungeon theme (Quite nostalgic to me because I played Soma Bringer in the past).
  8. Visual Novel Translation Status (06/10/2017) First of all, sorry for this week title which is very simple. It should be obvious what's my title mean, a gunwoman (Rena from Phantom Trigger) hugging Haruto who is also her handler (Same age as Rena too). Well, welcome to this week VNTS Review which to tell the truth didn't had any notable release here after Dies Irae, although we still get updates though. And since right now we had Phantom Trigger head image, might as well tell that it was confirmed that the English version for the Volume 3 of it (Will telling us of Touka's dark backstory) would be out at July 28th which is the same release date as Japanese version. Before going to updates here, let me tell that right now Hoshimemo Kickstarter managed to gathered funds at 63,330. As for this updates here, so far this week wasn't a lot here although of course there should be some updates that might be interesting for some people. So let's see what updates that we had for this week, starting from Mangagamer because right now they bring some updates here. For the updates here, we had Hapymaher was reaching 80% translated and past three quarter (76%) edited for the first one. Next we had Hashihime at 62% translated and 10% edited, Naked Butler was fully retranslated and 67% edited, Sideboob was at 94% translated, Imopara 2 was at 80% edited, Kuroinu Chapter 2 was fully edited, Maggot Bait was at 37% translated, Fata Morgana fandisc was at 69% translated and 44% edited, Boukaku was about to entering beta testing, and Sorcery Joker was fully translated. As for the secret projects, the 2nd was at 78% translated and 52% edited, the 3rd was at 60% translated and 58% edited, and the 4th was at 89% edited. By the way, I still think that all the remaining four secret projecys might be nukige although perhaps I might be wrong there. Oh, Mangagamer will released Rance VI hardcopy at July 7th so if you inyerested with that go ahead and order it. That's all for Mangagamer updates at this week. For fan translation, once again we still had some usual updates here although of course it's still good that we had updates here. For the updates we had Eustia was at 15.62% translated with some progress at Fione's arc and 8.71% TLC-ed. There's also Loverable in which they had their own chart who gives update at every hour, and for the updates here we had Loverable was at 72.57% translated, 20.2% edited, and 43.27% TLC-ed. As for Majokoi, there's some very slight updates in translation progress (86.9% translated) although perhaps we need to wait dor a while here if one want to look some real number. Oh, and right now Koiken Otome fandisc was at 6% (Or 1,563 lines to be precise) translated. Other than those updates there's also Sukiuso which give the first update after a while (43.2% translated), Clover Days Anzu's route was at 63% translated, and Sayooshi in which that it did already has some update for a while although I keep forgetting it (It was at 42.2% translated). Speaking about my forgotten projects, actually there's two although it's just nukige though which to said not my priority to keep the eyes on it. The projects were Sansha Mendan which was translated by our Quof with the progress was at 69.16% translated and 67% edited, and Venus Blood Chimera which also incorporate some gameplay and was released the 2nd partial patch just recently (The progress was at 35% translated by the way). Perhaps I'll keep my eyes on those two nukige from now on. For last updates from fan translation here, there's a surprisingly early updates from Tsurezure in regard of Tsujidou in which right now they managed to fully translated the first part of common route (The overall progress was at 13.05% translated). While this is a good news indeed, there's also some bad news that namely Trip (The translator) will be busy so he wouldn't be able to translate until 18th so maybe there'll be no update for Tsujidou at next week. But we also had a good news there namely that Tsurezure will release the partial patch that'll be translated the first part of common route, and they'll try to release it before 18th so there'll be something to look forward if you like Tsujidou (Although I would like to just wait and see here as usual). I think that's all for this week, and see you next week.
  9. Good review there, and to tell the truth didn't care too much about unusual translation there (I could just Google it anyway). That's all for what I could say now. PS - By the way, I'd find that Michiru was interesting even if her route didn't had much incest as expected.
  10. Well, thanks for the correction there. So apparently it meant that Trip would be busy for around 10 days here then.
  11. Today they had surprisingly early update, so here goes the update below first: Common Route Part 1: 100.0% Common Route Part 2: 0.0% Ai: 0.0% Renna: 0.0% Maki: 0.0% Saeko: 0.0% Total: 13.05% As for the next plan, they planned to release partial patch which cover up the first part of common route which is fully translated right now (Duh). There's also some bad news from them unfortunately, which is that Irru (The translator) will be busy for around 10 days or so which meant that there'll be no progress for next week because he won't be able to translate until 18th (I'll be waiting here). Back to the patch, apparently this time they release it to gauge of how good the response to their translation in regard of delinquent speech, so perhaps it'll be worth to check the patch later. That's all for this week early update.
  12. Since we had Dies Irae release, here's one OST from there which took my interest for now 'The Holocaust'. Enjoy, although maybe it's already been shared in the past here.
  13. As for this time, my votes goes to Higurashi, Umineko, Root Double, and Fata Morgana. Although admittely it's getting harder to give some votes here though, because I'd find that all of the VNs was quite interesting this time (Except otome though). That's all for now.
  14. It's quite subjective matter to be honest, and also depend on each people because what is one of the best VN might be worst VN for other people. For example here, there's Ren who delare Hoshimemo was the worst VN and Solidbatman who said that Little Busters was the worst VN which safe to say it was quite subjective one (Both of Little Busters and Hoshimemo was getting good average score at VNDB). Back to topic here, actually back in the past there's another thread like this beforehand and I also posted there. Although if I may say something in regard of worst VN right now, I would like to say it was: Mukou no Yume - Short and very questionable story there. Also no save feature. Succubuss Soon - My very first VN (Not neccesarily the best though), and it was nukige. Back then the CGs was good looking, although if I look at that right now I would say it's crappy. Story was quite shallow (It's given), and most importantly the MC was voiced which is very annoying. The narration was voiced as well. Yes, the narration was voiced with annoying MC voice and mostly it's just said 'I'm horny' or 'My little sister was cute', which safe to said could drive someone insane. Tsuki - MC left home and suffer harsh environment which in turn causing him to be possessed. The reason MC left he was not like 'MC was going to live independently', but rather 'MC was caught up doing some masturbation by both of his stepmom and stepsister while imagining them and embarassed, then decided to ran away' which is quite idiotic reason imo. Sougeki no Jaeger - Untranslated, therefore I didn't play this yet. But seeing that scroes from both of EGS and VNDB was low, safe to said that it was quite bad. I think that's all for now, and if you need help just as us. Have fun.
  15. To tell the truth, it's quite hard to answer because in regard of VNs my laptop was run almost all of translated VNs well. As for my recommendations, I think 11eyes was using Kirikiri so you might try that first. Also you could try Yoake as well which is quite old VN, and therefore it'll be run safely if you GPU was old (Probably). Hope it'll be help.
  16. Happy 21st birthday to our @Asonn there, and hope you had good year ahead.
  17. Welcome to Fuwanovel there and of course you could ask us VN Recommendations if you feel like that later. Hope you had fun here. PS - Have fun in regard of play HatsuKoi there.
  18. Let's see, my votes for now goes to Dies Irae, Root Double, Symphonic Rain, and Steins Gate 0 here. I also voted Princess Waltz at snubbed VN section there.
  19. I knew that you already decided what you want to play here, but let me give some more recommendations here. As for the recommendations, I would recommend both of Da Capo 3 and Yoake here although I don't know though if the art would be good for you. Hope those'll be help.
  20. I see. Then maybe you could try Koichoco then, and Dracu Riot as well. Or maybe you could try Da Capo 3 there. Hope it'll be help.
  21. Very obvious recommendation here would be Grisaia no Kajitsu. But if not, then perhaps it would be Yume Miru Kusuri and Rewrite if only because Family Project writer (Romeo Tanaka) involved in those two VNs. Have fun.
  22. As for Kanon, it was had some sad drama indeed. But ultimately most of the routes was ended well. As for Eiyuu Senki, it had only one ending and no heroines sides thing.
  23. Imouto Paradise was good example, although it's just nukige. But if you're not into nukige, then Eiyuu Senki and Kanon would be good recomendations. Have fun. PS - Oh, and if you want to wait there's Dal Segno which will be released at 30th.
  24. Pretty late here I knew, but let me answer Fred's question here right now. Here comes my answers: It's the story here. Yes, I said story even though I knew that for this VN music should be the main aspect here. It might be sounds silly here, but actually Deardrops here was the VN the story that's focused on the music as the theme, while if I talk about musical aspect here it would be BGM and vocal songs because Deardrops here was actually tell the story of how the indie band was tried to survive the entertainment industry here. As for the other aspects, the art was just usual VN here (Serviceable) while the characters was good enough but not as developed as Kira Kira in regard of their backstory. As for the story, this VN was as expected did a good job in regard of telling the story surrounding the music here. Although I did said that it was did a good job, unfortunately one route here was didn't do enough good job here because it didn't even had some connection to the music or even the foreshadowing to Riho's route (I look at you, Rimu). Nevertheless, what done is done and I'd found that Deardrops did a good job to exploring the music theme even though I did said that it's a story of how indie band survive the industry. Well, I did already said it indirectly here. If I might said it directly, it would be Rimu's route because to tell the truth her route had little to none musical element there. Granted, her route did had all-girl band, but it was only tell that there's another band which is not enough. Besides, her route was had her leave the Deardrops causing the band was dissolve because her ridiculous reason which is that she felt in love with Shou and decided to leave Deardrops because she felt that the romance between band member was forbidden (Granted, in Riho's route there's a reason of why romance between band members was forbidden, but still). Also it was the route that the theme of music wasn't explored enough because from what I experienced even Yayoi's route was had some exploration in music, although most of it was in form of guitar reparation though. Other than that, I think it's fine enough to me. Quite hard to chose here to tell the truth, but for now I chose Kanade's producer (Gotou Ryouko) because it's quite interesting that she will did anything to make Kanade to became famous no matter what. Besides she did what she had to do out of concern for Kanade, and it's good to me (To tell the truth, I cheer for Kanade more than Deardrops in her route, although maybe it was because Kanade was deuteragonist alongside Shoichi). I'm pretty much okay with that, and besides it's not that often anyway so it's okay. If anything, I was disappointed that we didn't get autoplay at Kanade's route because I think that she and Riho was quite equal if we talk about talent. Although it might be annoying though if one replaying all routes, because you'll be forced to autoplay at least once. I think that's all for my answer now.
  25. There'll be 6 chapter for each of heroines route so for one route it'll be 13 chapters, although if you ask for the grand total it'll be at 31 chapters. That's all for my answer.
