  1. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and if you need something (ie recommendations) just ask us. Hope you had fun here.
  2. Very late I knew, but here's the last introduction characters from Mangagamer here. This time we gonna have an AI which take form in human girl, Ame. Enjoy as usual there. Dal Segno Character Intros V.5 – All About Ame As for this character introduction, I'd found that the question like 'Will Ame be able to attain happiness on the island where no one is ever unhappy?' was quite intruging to me here a little bit, although I wouldn't expect that Dal Segno explore that deeply though because it's stated that Ame found 'love is happiness'.
  3. Yeah, the main translator from Ate the Moon (Katahane, Ayakashibito) is back and right now he she ask for the help. Or to be specific he she asked for hacker to hack one of untranslated VN (If possible a dedicated one), because he she was about to translate one VN there. The VN in question was Tsukiyori (Or Tsuritou just as the translator said) in which was had translation project here before it's stalled. I'd quite interested with the VN itself, although to tell the truth I didn't had any skill here. Here's the post from the translator himself herself if you curious. Requesting hacking help – Tsuriotsu Hope some hacker from here could help him her if possible, and I hope that it'll be translated in the future. Edit (7/15) - Now that the project was officially started, I decided to change the title to reflect that (Former title 'Request from Ate the Moon Translation').
  4. Finally as expected today we had a translation progress from Trip, and it goes like: Common Route Part 1: 100.0% Common Route Part 2: 71.07% Ai: 0.0% Renna: 0.0% Maki: 0.0% Saeko: 0.0% Total: 17.5% As for the question why the 2nd part of common route was had very big progress, the reason was because actually the 2nd part of the common route was only half the first part, or at least that was Urrim told in his blogpost. Anyway, good progress there and that's all for this week.
  5. Another BGM from Dies Irae, and I'd found that the battle theme was quite good to me. As for the BGM, here's one example of the battle theme (Rubedo). Enjoy, and I chose the video with least spoilery picture there (Hopefully).
  6. I see, then I'll be looking forward to Frontwing announcements there or to be exact the TV Live at AX later. Good luck with the panel there. PS - To be honest, I just knew 'Frontwing TV' term here today lol.
  7. Late to the party here. As for the recommendations, I think you could try Higanbana (And the sequel) first because it's much shorter than both of Higurashi and Umineko, created by the same author (Ryukishi07), and most importantly has some horror. Or perhaps you could try both of Inganock and Sharnoth, because both of those were had some horror element and fantasy as well. Hope my recommendation would be helpful to you.
  8. As for HatsuKoi there's no bath scene with the girl in the common route, at least according to my experience of skipping through common route to made the walktgough lol. Anyway, good commentary there by the way.
  9. Well, I guess it's depend on your wallet size lol. That aside, I want to recommend Clannad but you already had it so nope (Although I could recommend Side Stories there though). Anyway, if I might give the recommendations here might as well try Planetarian, Cho Dengeki Stryker, and all three parts of World End Economica (WEE). Also if you interested with some girl on girl love might as well try both of Nurse Love Addiction (Hakuai) and Flowers. Hope those recommendations help.
  10. Welcome to Fuwanovel, and feel free to ask us if you need someyhing in regard of Visual Novel. Hope you enjoy yourself here.
  11. Late to the party here, but let me to join here nonetheless. As for the recommendations, I think Phenomeno would be good for you because it was very short, because I think short VN would less likely less time with word and go straight to the point. Another recommendation from mine here would be True Remembrance if you interested with more short VN, and I also think it's going to be less wordy than usual VNs. Hope those'll be help.
  12. Today Mangagamer introduce another character here, and this time it was MC's cousin as the heroine so enjoy once again. Dal Segno Character Intros V.4 – Get to Know Noeri! Her seiyuu was Fukuen Misato who also voiced Mina back at Shadows of Pygmalion. She also did had some role in eroge by the way, although it's less than her seiyuu fellow (Eri Sendai) though. PS - If I may comment here, there's quite flowery sentence to introduce of how MC will be dense at Noeri's route back at the introduction page lol.
  13. Visual Novel Translation Status (06/24/2017) About the title, because we had Libra release I figured that I'll do Blood+ parody only this time we had Draculius+ from Draculius VN instead, because Libra producer himself was work at that VN (As the producer too of course) along with Fujisaki Ryuta (Grisaia franchise) as the main writer. Although the producer might be the same people, I heard that apparently there'll be some difference between Draculius and Libra itselves because Libra was lacking Fujisaki as the writer. Welcome to my VNTS Review for this week, and about Libra translation issue let's just say that I didn't really want to discuss about it too much here because that topic was too divisive here. Back to the topic here, this week we had some less than usual updates here although this week we had many release though, especially from fan translation section. Let's see what update that we had for this week, along with the releases. As for Sekai Project, first of all congratulation for successfully gathered 75,000 for the Eternal Heart. As for the release date for Hoshimemo, I think what we could do for now is that just wait and see there. Other than successful Kickstarter, this week we also had fault prequel (Silence the Pendant) demo released so you may try that if you interested, although I prefer that they released side:below ie the sequel though. Oh well. Mangagamer This week we also had Mangagamer biweekly updates. As for the updates here, we got Hashihime was at 64% translated and 14% edited (Minakami's route was completed and Kawase's route was almost completed), Hapymaher at 82% translated, Naked Butler was fully edited, Fata Morgana fandisc was at 72% translated, Imopara 2 was at 92% edited, Maggot Bait was at 39% translated, Sideboob was fully translated, and Trinoline was at a quarter translated (Also 3% edited). They also had some secret projects as usual in which the 2nd was at 84% translated and 53% edited, the 3rd was at 64% translated and 61% edited, and the 4th was fully edited in which it mean that there's 2 incomplete secret projects now. As for Boukaku, right now it was in the middle of the testing along with Suki Suki and Evangile W. For the last news here, actually this was not from Mangagamer themselves but rather it was from Doddler. It was about Bokuten in which apparently Doddle was already started the porting as the video at this tweet show (Enjoy the video there). Also he said that he expect that Bokuten would be out before the end of the year at his Curious Cat, so I think it'll be out at least in 2017 preferrably as Christmas release from Mangagamer. That's all for Mangagamer at this week. Fan Translation This week we had good news and bad news from releases. The good news is that we had several VNs releases from one person, and the bad news is that the VNs in question weren't big title. The VNs in question was Harvest December in which it was already had English version for iOS apparently, and this time we also had PC version was translated. In relation with Harvest December, there's also the translation for the side media of those VNs as well. Well, I would say that it was quite nice dedication from the translator himself, although too bad though that I wasn't interested with those VNs in the first place. About the translator, George Henry Shaft or GHS, he was quite a controversial translator in which he tried to created some non sensical book and translated the VNs that he was refrenced in his book. I would say that if he did translate a big title or at least well known like Denwalts did with 11eyes, maybe people would appreciate him more imo. In the end I would like to say have fun to anyone else who play Harvest December series here (If any). Oh, and GHS also had released the translation for another VN here although it didn't had any relation with Harvest December though. For one more release here, we also had Monster Girl Quest Paradox part one patch here. If I talk about Monster Girl Quest here, my impression here would be that the VN was had story that wouldn't be out of place in any normal old RPG, and it's supposed to make us enjoying the MC would be raped by monster girl (Well, I prefer to avoid all the scenes if possible because the H art was quite bad if I may blunt). I couldn't tell much about the story here, although apparently it's had some difference with normal trilogy and supposed to improve the RPG element. It's still incomplete though if we talk about the translation because there's untranslated Chapter 2, but if you want more Monster Girl Quest might as well try that. As for the updates, we had Eustia at 10.23% edited, Sansha Mendan was passing three quarter (75.82%) translated, Venus Blood Chimera was at 39.5% translated, Shiho's route from Koiken Otome fandisc was at 36% (1,751 lines) translated, and Anzu's route from Clover Days was at 71% translated. For this week Majokoi was had extremely crazy boost from QC number in which it was at past halfway QC-ed (50.79%), and apparently this time it was solid number according to the translator ie only reading the scripts so I'll keep the translator words here (There's also slight progress from the translation (87.48%) and editing (85.1%) at this week). Of course there's also another update from Loverable, in which right now they managed to past three quarter mark (75.39%) translated with Nanako's was at past a quarter (25.28%) translated, 44.3% edited, and 20.71% TLC-ed. Didn't care about both of Utawarerumono portable and Fate Hollow voice insert, so I'll pass those two. That's all for this section. Other As for this section, we only had Libra release here which unfortunately had some problem with the translation once again. I wouldn't talk about the bad translation issue here seeing that Dergonu was already opened his thread, and I think it was more than enough if you want to talk about the sticky issue itself. As for the VN itself, actually it was quite interesting that the developer at that time was trying a new thing with vampire chuunige. For more info here, the company behind Libra (Onomatopea) was usually only produce something like moege or harem VN, so apparently MOKA (The producer) there was attempted to make the 2nd Draculius and here we had Libra the Vampire Princess. Oh, even if I said that this is vampire chuunige it's still had mostly slice of life element though according to Clephas. Which mean that the lines was probably wouldn't too hard to read if one read it in Japanese, and therefore quite easy to read. Oh, and about Mikandi here they might be nice people who quite responsive to hear the backer alright, but in the end it's their final product that matter though imo. Well, have fun for reading Libra there or maybe have fun for finding out more mistake at Libra out there lol. That's all for this week, and I'll add Tsujidou update here later. See you next week. PS - As promised I'll deliver Tsujidou progress here. Right now they currently translated the common route, and it was at 71.07% translated with overall was at 17.5% translated. As for the plan, Urrim (Tsurezure's editor) said that they'll go with Ai's (The main heroine) route first, then Maki's, Saeko's (Onee-san heroine, and a short extra route), and finally Renna's. I could think the reason although it might be wrong, so I'll just hold up my theory until Tsurezure said the reason for now. PPS - There's also Seabed translation progress which announced one day after VNTS, and right now it was at 70% translated.
  14. From the title, it should be obvious that we'll talk about AX 2017 (Even though it's still a week away), and of course that'll be include what kind of announcement that you expect from the company in regard of VN translation. By the way, before going to list the company that'll joining AX let me apologize of my title was too simple there. As we knew, AX is one of bigger convention for anime fan that we had at America in which it was also influenced the worldwide anime fan. My bad attempt to explain AX aside, this convention was one of the biggest if we talk about Visual Novel announcement if only because usually we got some major VNs title to be localized. Or at least that's my impression for following it for two years. Anyway, as for this year we had all of the VN localization doing the conventions later, including JAST showing of how big AX was. Let's see what I could write here, and keep in mind that all of those was just my opinion or speculation. Mangagamer Currently the company with the most expectation here, and this time they will have three panels this time instead of one. Yes, three panel in which two of those would be hosted by both of illustrator for VNs (Itaru Hinoue who was from KEY and Ran Yamakaze from Moonstone). Other than those two illustrator panelist, Mangagamer also had Keika Hanada (Fata Morgana) as their special guest. As for the announcement, they had four in which it's still unknown what's their announcement were (Duh), although we knew that at least one of the announcement was from Mangagamer's new partner. For now I wouldn't expect much, but if I may say something I think it's more than likely that Love Sweets would be announced by Moonstone at AX later with Mangagamer as their publisher (It's pretty obvious anyway, so it might be change later). Oh, and here's the schedule for Mangagamer panels below from their site (Mangagamer booth was at booth 2423, booth 2522, and booth 2523): MangaGamer Panel Saturday 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM PST in LP3 Itaru Hinoue Panel Sunday 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM PST in LP3 Ran Yamakaze Panel Tuesday 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM PST in LP5 Sekai Project Their panel will be at booth 4515 (It's even in their Twitter username), and the time would be at Sunday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM PST in LP5. Like Mangagamer, they also had one special guest in which they'll talk about the new fault game (It's Alice in Dissonance by the way, and the game was Silence the Pendant). As for the expectation, well if I may say a thing I would said that I think there's a chance that they'll announce Astral Air at AX later, provided that Favorite didn't change their attention to Mangagamer as the new publisher partner like Purple Software. The reason I said this was because in the last AX, there's Saku Saku that was localized by Sekai that came from the same translation group as Astral Air, while for the second reason there's Chuee statement (Or to be exact response) in regard of Astral Air. I'll post his comment below, including the answered question: Considering that it's Sekai, I think it's possible that they'll announce it even with the QC progress was still incomplete just like back at Baldr Sky announcement. There's also the matter that recently Sekai didn't had major VN title announced from their convention since AX, so I would say that this would be their chance to announce Astral Air localization here. Although I may said like this, of course I would be still in shock though if it's turn out to be true that Sekai announced Astral Air at their panel later. Other than Astral Air, i don't had any guess for Sekai announcement later. As for Denpasoft, once again they also will had a panel separated from Sekai in which their schedule was at Sunday 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM PST. They also had special guest here, Saji Sasai who work at Sumikko Soft (Harumade Kukuru), so perhaps I could expect Harumade Kukuru would be one of Denpasoft announcements (Other than usual 18+ version of Sekai announcement). Besides, I think it's more fitting that Denpa was the one who publish it instead of Sekai, because the VN itself was full of sex scene ie just an ordinary nukige. Frontwing Well, I wouldn't expect any new announcements from them (It's still nice though if we get one). But it would be nice though if they announce when the exact date for the release of either Subahibi or Island (Both was better though), instead of announced additional volume for Phantom Trigger (Granted, it was necessary though). Then again, maybe there'll be more people who like Phantom Trigger announcement more so there's that. As for their panel I think it's more like at the TV or something like that (It was called Frontwing TV) so I wouldn't be so sure here, although I knew their panel time for sure though (It was at Monday 9:00 PM -10:00 PM PST). Oh, and the panel would be had 18+ content apparently. For JAST, they didn't had any conventions since last AX, so actually it's easy to just ignore them lol. That aside, apparently they'll give the updates at their current projects and also will announced some of new VNs localization, so it might be worth to watch out. As for the schedule, it'll be at Sunday 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM PST. Other than those company above, there's Degica who also joined the AX although for now I don't know the exact time for their panel though. For now I just expect that they'll announce some Muve Luv announcement, although it would be nice though if they prepare some Kogado VNs. I think that's all for my post now, and sorry if I posted this too early. Have fun for waiting for AX later, and speculate here. PS - Here's the abridge of the schedule if you just using the internet to following AX (Like me). As for PST, it was the time zone that Los Angeles (AX location) use and hope it'll be help to anyone else who would confused to knew what time they must see the panel. Mangagamer Panel - Saturday (July 1st) 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM PST Itaru Hinoue Panel - Sunday (July 2nd) 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM PST in LP3 Ran Yamakaze Panel - Tuesday (July 4th) 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM PST in LP5 Sekai Project Panel - Sunday 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM PST Denpasoft Panel - Sunday 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM PST Frontwing Panel (Or just Frontwing TV) - Monday (July 3rd) 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM PST JAST USA Panel - Sunday 9:30 PM to 10:30 PM PST
  15. Libra sticky issue aside (It's up to you to find out if you could understand it or not though), there's HatsuKoi which is a slice of life VN, Dies Irae and 11eyes if you want some action VN, Clannad if you want some touching story (Symphonic Rain as well), or maybe you could try sci fi like Root Double there. Hope those recommendations help.
  16. Well, I'll still try it later. While I knew Flyable Heart was had bad translation, at least I did read some badly translated VN compared to that (Madou Koukaku and Soukoku no Arterial NekoHen patch) and yet I managed to understand it. Let's just hope that they didn't translated 'Tadaaa' as some inappropriate word like sh*t.
  17. Well, in my country (Indonesia) yeah it's summer all the time here if we talk from Japanese perspective. Put that aside I think most of the VN with Southern Hemisphere setting didn't had mention summer at December (I knew about Hemisphere reversal there by the way). About the setting, actually there's one Japanese VN but it would major spoiler to talk about that so no. Well, it's up to you to drop it I guess. Anyway, Mangagamer did introduce the third character today and by the way she was voiced by Eri Sendai who used Haruka Sora pseudonym (I linked VNDB link for Haruka Sora role). Enjoy. Dal Segno Character Intros V.3 – Meet Io! PS - By the way the introduction was quite chuuni there, especially with name as the sacrifice thing and 'inner sanctum' thing. Quite ironic that she was voiced Rikka's older sister back at Chuunibyou anime, in which she was the reasonable one (Whacking Rikka with ladle when Rikka had her delusion) compared to Rikka's.
  18. Oh, okay then. Thanks for the correction, although my answer was still the same though that Angel Beat translation project did exist.
  19. Well, if I may be honest yeah. It's just run of the mill eroge like Da Capo (Make sense since this and Da Capo was from same company). Although if I may say something the graphic was nice looking, and the environment itself was interesting with summer at December (Usually, December was associates with winter and snow in VNs) although it's more like eternal summer though.
  20. Well you could suggest untranslated version to the OP then, seeing that he want to read Japanese VN and want to read Dies Irae to boot. Besides, I guess Libra wasn't too hard in regard of the Japanese like Dies Irae, right?
  21. As for the fan translation project, it did exist. Although it was apparently get C&D by Visual Arts though because they planned to released Angel Beats officially. Oh, as for the OP answer there's no English translation for the VN at this moment unfortunately.
  22. Well, perhaps it's better if you just drop that if you terrible at the gameplay. Actually the gameplay was easy if you didn't care for perfect score, but it could be challanging later though. And instead of Aselia (Just drop it along with Baldr Sky if you're terrible at gameplay) I'll change my recommendation to I/O and Evolimit. Both of those were sci-fi, and quite interesting at that. Just play it even if you already knew about spoiler. As for Katawa Shoujo it's just VN with physically disabled girl (Blind, deaf, lost legs, lost hands, and burned face) as the heroines. However what makes it interesting is that it was developed by 4ch with some trouble in production iirc, and yet it managed to had story almost as good as any standard charage (Keep in mind that there's also the year of the production was at 2009, which back then didn't had any particular OELVN iirc).
  23. Let's see what I could recommend to you here. Hapymaher - One girl (Not heroine unfortunately, but major character nonetheless) had gothic lolita. Not translated yet unfortunately Dracu Riot - Elina was flirts with you a lot. That's all Sayooshi - An untranslated denpa games Tokyo Babel - One of translated chuunige that was well accepted (Besides Dies Irae). Had apolayptic setting As for Dies Irae, I think the translation was quite good so far so I would suggest you to try the translated version as well. That's all for my recommendations here now.
  24. Well, recently I tried to enter reddit and already did the log in there.
  25. Oh, here's Hazuki's introduction from Mangagamer blog. So enjoy. Dal Segno Character Intros V.2 – Say Hello to Hazuki! By the way they forgot to mention the seiyuu for Hazuki, so let me fixed that problem here. As for her seiyuu, she is Natsunoo Koori aka Taguchi Hiroko who once again voiced Sumika from Muv Luv franchise, Amane from Grisaia franchise, and Miu from Dracu Riot. I did saw some video with Hazuki in, and I must said that her voice was indeed sounds like Koori's range although a bit subtle though iirc.
