  1. I'd have to say that I am rarely ever disappointed in the music of VNs. That being said I may just switch the music to something calmer if it gets really heavy.
  2. Assuming I feel like I've been reading far too much uninteresting text I hardly ever skip text. I feel like I'll miss something extremely important.
  3. I just had to comment about the avatar... I adore Kino no Tabi, it's one of the best series' out there.

  4. I apologize for making it seem like that. I did not mean to make it seem like this forum had something wrong with it or was disorganized, honestly that was not what I was going for. The forums here are organized, there just typically seems to be a... "Model" I guess would be the best word for forum organization, even looking at sites like Anime-Sharing (I noticed Checkmate was an admin here), or anime-forums, follow that basic model that is then molded to their own needs. Of course that being said every community is different and so they have different needs. I can see where you're coming from in that, if you perceive that no one will think anything will be improved and that organization that is in place now works perfectly fine, why change it? I can get where you're coming from and I can fully respect that way of keeping things.
  5. I would have to say this is one of the most painful things one will have to do in a VN, simply because you have to usually ignore another person or even flat out make them hate you. Let's be honestly we hardly ever want anyone to hate us, even if they're not real.
  6. I mentioned before in my introduction topic that I've been on many forums and so I am well aware of the format that most forums use, they use this because it is usually the most organized and effective way. I would encourage the staff of Fuwanovel to do it as well, however this is just a suggestion so feel free to toss it out the window. * = Category, > = Board (Forum), Italics & [] = Purpose (No Italics and Brackets Means it's Self Explanitory) Typically the general forum organization is as follows: *Site Name [General Things Regarding the Community] >Bulletin Board [Where All "Official" Posts Are Made, Typically the Rules are Here as Well] >Suggestions / Feedback >Introductions *Primary Purpose of the Forum [in this Case Anything Regarding VNs] >Visual Novel Talk (Better Wording for "Talk" Might be Discussion) >Fan Translation Discussion, Volunteer Talk >Walkthroughs *General [Anything Not Relating to the Main Purpose of the Forum or Community] >General Discussion >Anime and Manga Discussion The example provided above is very well organized, allowing for boards to be easily located and providing a good framework to add other boards in the future. I suggest a move to the above model, however I can understand finding the current one adequate for the community's needs.
  7. Well I figured I might as well make an argument for what might be a more organized forum, if it isn't taken into account for whatever reason I won't have an issue. I am actually a huge fan of KEY's works and I did have Little Busters!, however my old hard drive died on me so I lost all the files. In fact I didn't realize until this moment I hadn't redownloaded it. On the note of KEY's works however I do have Rewrite all downloaded; been sort of too lazy to do everything correctly on it. I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation. Thanks for the welcome, I will try to stick around.

  9. Thanks for the welcome. I do recommend you take a gander at phpbb if you ever feel like checking out other types of forum software. On a separate note I have some inquiries about the forums layout and category/board placement choices. Should I decide to make a thread about it, would you consider the Feedback board the most approvable place to ask such questions and recommend such things?
  10. Hello everyone my name is Malware, don't let the name fool you I have no intention to spread malicious content. I have only read a few visual novels (as shown by my signature), however I do enjoy them very much. I tend to watch a lot more anime than read visual novels, despite this though I do think that visual novels often times have a much more compelling, touching story. I have been on a large number of anime related forums before mostly under the name Spitfire, as such I am well versed in many different types of forums. Arguably I find phpbb the second best with vBulletin being the best. However considering the difference in price (phpbb being free) I prefer phpbb for the few sites I've been brought on to help run. I have dabbled in GFX with my most recent work being this, however I don't find myself all that good at it. I hope to be received with open arms and expand my general knowledge and repertoire of visual novels.
