  2. Have you played Ib? It's an RPG maker game, not a VN but it's pretty great. https://vgperson.com/games/ib.htm

  3. Eeh, there aren't really that many, and also, my involvement isn't always on the same level for every project. And finally, there are also some stuff I worked on that will never see the light of day, so yeah... Anyway, to answer your question... As far as fanTL projects go (of those that got released), I was involved with Miazora Fine Days. There's also a couple of others I was involved with that got released, but I prefer to go uncredited for those. Also, I was involved with some failed projects, as well as some projects that are still ongoing. I also QCed a couple of VNs officially, so there's that. Not a very noteworthy resume, at least not yet. So I wouldn't say I am doing a lot for these games.

  5. To be honest, it really was helpful that the engine was written in C#/Unity, it made the stuff a lot easier since you can navigate through decompiled source easily (i hope this doesn't change lol). Usually I only reverse engineer stuff because of necessity (i run a server for an closed source mp mod for a game, also closed source). As for other vns, it might be harder since some (like maitetsu) use custom stuff like e-mote, and unlike Unity, I'm not very knowledgeable in KiriKiri stuff. That said, no promises, but I might take a peek into maitetsu since that one would be actually one that I haven't still played and looking forward to in some future. In general, the difficulty depends on how the port was made, if the assets packaging is different (different formats or just different storage code with no apparent reason like here), and in that case, how difficult could it be to have to repack the assets.

  6. To be honest, since my favorite villains are usually the ones who are either crazy competent or crazy over the top, I couldn't really think of much to say here. Electro-Arms - One of the main antagonists both achieves precisely his greatest desire and 'stops there' in one of the paths.

  7. In the most traditional sense, yes. However, there are Visual Novels which employ this method even without a true route. Consider The Fruit of Grisaia. The point at which you stray off the common route is when you choose to follow a specific heroine... except for Yumiko Sakaki. You never make a choice to choose Yumiko, you just naturally end up with her by rejecting everyone else. This doesn't make much sense in the typical setting where you usually just choose the heroine you like the most, but it makes a lot of sense for true routes where 'ending up with that heroine was the natural course'. In The Devil on G-String it's 'only natural' you end up with Haru, assuming you do not stray off the main path with any previous heroine. In Grisaia, there isn't really a main path, but you end up with Yumiko in much the same way. In short, the ladder structure is there, but not in the way we traditionally associate with it (It's still a path and branches at every heroine, but not a 'true' path.). It's a ladder with various exits, but it's not like the main one is more important. Meaning? Choosing a heroine is leaving the ladder. Not choosing a heroine means you go to the top of the ladder (which may or may not be the true route).
