  1. Seriously, those games are an even bigger headache than the PC variants. I was playing those games up until I saw my therapist, and it wasn't until our session was over that I realized how badly I needed to get away from them. I've been off my sleep schedule for about a week now, and I've even put on an entire 6 pounds from overeating and lack of exercise. It was a miserable ordeal, but I just could not convince myself to quit. Well, that's changing today. I've already deleted the app from my phone, and even took it a step further by deleting my entire account (so that I'm not tempted to go back). I'm also reaching out to a prominent youtuber for Runescape to host a giveaway for both my main and ironman accounts (yeah, I actually made two accounts on a p2w game, and no, it was not cheap).

  5. This is my first post here! I freaking loved the romantic aspect of Fureraba. I want a good Visual Novel with the following traits Romance, 18+ with a nice plot. No main heroine is preferred (something like Fureraba) as the "bias" in the common route can be irritating (like in the Shepard VN). Highschool or above with a mature caste. So, 18+ looking cast is preferred. No haremish common route (like Chrono Clock), romance must feel natural from both sides. No rape or ntr or high amount of drama, yuri or yaoi. I've played Katawa Shoujo(9/10) Fureraba(9.5/10) Yoake mae....(8/10) Hoshimemo(8.5/10)(hated the childhood friend) Have played partly Evenicle, Grisaia, IMMHW (will play these once I'm interested to read em back) I'm fine with a nukige like Kyonyuu Fantasy(no rape, ntr, mindbreak). Would love to get some awesome recommendation from you guys. The above request can be diluted except that the first and the last which are very essential.

  6. Well it does have drama but it isn't generally that heavy in Princess Evangile and I guessed it was more so relationship drama the OP wanted to avoid though that was just a guess.

It has unique plot, also I would really recommend it if you are a fan of Nisekoi, the routes are quite varied in tone and I feel they really do a good job with the characters and also does some interesting things with the choice system for comedic moments, like for instance playing cards against Chitoge. Personally I really liked reading it and gave it a 8.5 score on vndb. Under is a review I made for it though it has some spoilers not major ones though, more so the general way the VN is built up

  8. No one mentioned Wagamama High Spec so far, so I'll throw that in - I've hear good things about that route. I guess you're not looking for siscon yuri? There's quite a lot of that I could recommend. :3

  9. As for the recommendations, I would seconded Chrono Clock here along with Hapymaher, although in Hapymaher case it's more like the childhood friend decided to do little sister role though. And if you need nukige, then both of Imopara (The first and the second) should be suffice. For more recommendations, you can try Saku Saku, Maitetsu, Bokukotsu (Also nukige and the little sister is adopted), and Duel Savior. I hope my recommendations here would be helpful to you.

  10. Michiru from ChronoClock perhaps? Putting translations aside for a moment - the VN I'm currently reading ("to...") has one pretty weird heroine. Satomi is serious case of brocon, but MC isn't her brother - she's little sister of MC's idiot friend, and initially she declares that she hates MC because he's taking her beloved nii-chan from her I haven't read her route yet, but I wonder how will it play out.

If I haven't misunderstood things horribly, Aoi's and Shiho's routes in first ToHeart are mostly this. Aoi's bored me to death, but Shiho's route was nice. Its ending hints the possibility of future romance, but for the route itself, they're just friends.

    Friendship routes

I would say Nisekoi Yomeiri kind of has one. Of course most of the routes are romance routes but the Ruri route doesn't have romance in it. The main thing in the route is pretty much just trying not to get Ruri to hate you because of Shu (the main character's best friend) getting him involved in shit that piss her of. The route is more about remaining friend than becoming friends though so not sure it is what you had in mind.

  16. I might not change the stats since I might not take too long for the correction. Maybe a month at most. We'll see how things go. If it's going to take too long, I'll be adding the stats and I'll let you know

  17. The trope I came to hate the most is the forgotten childhood friend. For some reason she kept being in love with the protagonist for ten years after one of them moved away but doesn't even mention they met before until it makes for an emotional scene in the third act.

  18. 1) The 'forced' h scenes. And I don't mean scenes where girls are forced to have sex but ones that feel forced and are obiously only there so that the fappers don't lose interest. They are always so story-breaking. The scenes often happen out of nowhere and after it no one mentions it again. 2) Childhood friends: for some reason I don't like childhood friends routes. Probably because the MC is often so incredibly dumb about not realizing the feelings OR because the childhood friend girls are always so nosey and annoying. 3) When extremely obvious questions are not asked! Example (Muv-Luv Extra): 4) All girls falling in love with a loser MC for no reason.

  19. Hah, well, I got into that hellhole (android games) a few times since writing that post. I pretty much always try out those low-maintenance ones and love the daily reward routine (that one I'm playing consistently is much less heavy on that). Of course, even two convenient online games together are way too time consuming with how my schedule usually looks. On the other hand, it's still hard for me to not check out new ones when I feel particularly tired or dejected and want to distract myself - I simply get rid of them as soon as I start feeling I can do something better with my time (usually after a 3-5 days of playing them casually, sometimes including some small in-app purchases). Didn't even touch "real" MMOs though, or any games in "forbidden" genres (sandbox/strategy/grindy RPGs) - I know myself well enough to not even consider it. I think I tried playing a bit of Medieval: Total War (the first one) early this year, or around December? Just from nostalgia. Got rid of it after two days, with a pretty major hangover left from the experience. Plus some mechanics in it are really messed up, maintaining a large empire is a nightmare... If these games are controllable, it's definitely not in my case and I can hardly imagine any mental techniques changing that, so I'm barely even tempted at this point. Even if stumbling upon Warhammer: Total War sale on Steam makes me sweat a bit, I was never close to actually falling back into this pit of misery. :>

    Fuwanovel Confessions

Hey, remember how I said I had a good method for coping with my MMO addiction? Turns out I was lying to myself. I've allowed myself to become a complete wreck since I started playing Runescape, and I delved even further into madness with Android gaming. I thought I could manage my addictive tendencies with proper awareness, but I failed miserably (those daily login incentives get me every time). Just thought I'd let you know in case you had any lingering thoughts of going back. It's not worth it.
