  1. You wont find better than key visual novels. Rewrite, little busters and clannad.

  2. Other than the already mentioned: Dies Irae, Fate/stay night, Saya no Uta, G-senjou no Maou, Mahoutsukai no Yoru(partialTL), Hapymaher, Muv-Luv Alternative, Hoshimemo, have some good tracks. Ultimately it depends on what you like.

  3. I do actually remember enabling Japanese text-to-speech in VNR. I don't think it was through Google though. I quickly turned it off however because the voice is monotonous, and since it relies on parsing, is often inaccurate. It's not like English where the reading of words you'd find in a dictionary is very close to 100% accurate.

  4. Any recommendations for eroge with good storyline and loli route? like Maitetsu for example was very enjoyable.

  5. No, this much is fine. Just read over the rules and make sure you don't cross any lines. One relevant excerpt: I second the imouto paradise recommendation, if you're looking for something translated. If you can read Japanese, Tanuki Soft makes great loli themed games, like Rama mentioned. Shoujo Ramune is pretty nice. Pretty much all nukige, though. If you're looking for something more story based, Kimisora has a great imouto route, and is just a great game overall. Kowaku no Toki has a great loli route, but fair warning, the game is quite dark, with horror and dark H content being a rather central focus. Might want to avoid this one if you have a weak stomach, heh. On that note, Tinkerbell has some great loli characters, especially in Hanamaru, which also happens to be one of the few pure vanilla games they have made, so if you prefer vanilla content, Hanamaru is the go to game from Tinkerbell.

  6. Many of Ninetail's titles feature supernatural lolis. Their staff are notorious lolicon who often make the loli route the true route. @Seryuu would probably be able to offer further suggestions. You might also check out titles by Sakuranbo Elementary School and Studio Ring, including the iconic Please teach me ABC.

  8. Anything by: https://vndb.org/p539 Although it's quite nuki-focused, I find it's pretty good when it comes to roleplaying. https://vndb.org/p3276 These games have better characterization and more of a healing feeling. https://vndb.org/v1286 I guess eden* fits the bill perfectly though. https://vndb.org/v860 I love the Galaxy Angel trilogy. There are two "loli" characters, one of them being voiced by one of my favorite anime seiyuu of all time. The most fun part is the character interactions. https://vndb.org/v646 Two of Ayakashibito's heroines, including the central heroine could be considered "loli". It's a story I'm quite fond of, despite its flaws. I believe you have to do all routes to unlock the True Route with Suzu, though. Can't really think of anything else right now, as "good story" is quite ambiguous. What did you like about Maitetsu? Was it its in-depth disucssions about train stuff, the character interactions, or perhaps that you can "throw in your coal" inside a 120cm tall train-girl's "furnace"?

  10. Umineko (insane soundtrack, has like 180 songs), G-senjou no maou (can't go wrong with modernized classical music), Everlasting summer (has some neat rock music and also stuff that has kinda magical feel to it), Steins;gate+Steins;gate 0 (epic main theme and also other ones that set just the right atmosphere)

  14. Boku no Kanojo wa Gatenkei: A drama about a loving couple's relationship over several years, from when they first meet at a construction job to the challenge of raising a child while dealing with relationship problems. One of ELF's finest works.

  15. It was long way around, but, after all, I came to the conclusion - screw all that smoothing. Pixels FTW. It feels a bit of a waste to discard many hours of work, but since I cannot get fully satisfying results, and they take up ~15x more space than pixel versions (literally - smoothed images set in png format is ~200MB, while 16 color ones are ~12MB) - I think it's reasonable to abandon them. As for progress report - I'm slowly making my way through text.

  16. I don't think OP is asking about any kind of machine translation, they just want the unvoiced text to be read out in Japanese, which is something Google Translate can do in addition to its attempts at translating. Definitely seems useful if you're shaky on Kanji readings. That said, I have no idea how to get something like that to work.
