  1. Disclaimer: I was provided with a review copy of this game by the developer. All opinion presented here are solely my own. PixelFade is a studio that from the very beginning showed an unusually ambitious approach to EVN development. Their first project, Ace Academy, offered some features rarely seen in Western VN of similar scale (~10h of content), such as good-quality, full voice acting and lots of impressive-looking, stylistically consistent artwork. It was also pretty atypical in its storytelling, featuring a mostly college-age cast, choosing a very tame approach to romance and avoiding the fanservice endemic to this kind of lighthearted, SoL-focused VNs. Initially funded on Kickstarter as Kendo Crush, it went through a curious evolution from a generic-looking, sports-themed game into a futuristic story about mecha battles but regardless of all the tribulations, the end effect was a highly refreshing, all-ages experience with a satisfying mix of light drama, non-violent action and mystery. In my opinion, it’s still one of the best EVNs ever released, with few real issues beyond the somewhat abrupt, anticlimactic ending and the overly simplistic "gameplay" elements. Considering the relative success of Ace Academy, it was obvious that there would be high expectations connected to PixelFade’s second project, Crystalline – a lighthearted fantasy tale with a single romanceable heroine, which promised a longer story and even higher production qualities than their debut. After a successful Kickstarter campaign in early 2017, with gathered over 60k CAD (an amount pretty much unseen when it goes to original EVN projects), the game fairly quickly entered Steam on early access and was fully released in late August 2018 – the much anticipated final product offering truly impressive sound and visual design... And, in my opinion, a truly disappointing lack of compelling story content. But why is that exactly? Read the full article at evnchronicles.blogspot.com

I give full support for this iteration of you being the official one, the nick and avatar combo is really solid. And, to the broader issue, if the admins don't want you banned I think everyone else is also ok with this. After all, I don't think most of us even noticed the whole drama, let alone be bothered by it.

  5. Live footage of rare JOPs hearing the bimonthly autistic EOP scream over some license Today I got to know that my blog's reader base has been very sad that my blog has been so quiet for a long time so I decided to do a little update. This time I'm gonna list you some reasons why you might want to learn Japanese! (Start it today or you will never start it just like this blog post) These reasons are not in any order (are) Can play Idol M@ster Shiny Colors (or any other idol game but Shiny Colors is the best one) Number 2: Kotose. Can become a true believer of the true god Can get all the Yuuko goodness (get cucked!!) Have a meme I made earlier this week but got deleted for """derailing""" CoC Get to know the difference between Keyakizaka46 and Keyakizaka46!! There is a difference trust me. Other idols in general such as Nogizaka46 and AKB48 Can watch all the idol bingos. Always wanted your favorite anime to have 10 seasons??? Well idolbingos do have more than 10 seasons and are of the same size as anime seasons! No more shitty scans or subs. Only godtier real source material. (Eats all your money but who the fuck cares just work a little and be rich xD) Make bad memes Get vampire GF Can make shit lists like this Did this motivate any of you my lovely readers? I hope it did! Now smart ones of you might have noticed where is all the eroge!??? Well to be honest eroge is not worth it. It fucking sucks and so does the community. Idols, soshage, anything, is better than eroge. Don't do eroge kids. Peace out!

  6. So I don't know if this is a confession proper or more of a shower thought. I guess it has a little of both. So do you remember that anime style music video by Porter Robinson, Shelter? That was around 2 years ago, and it was the first time I had a realization. A realization of which I was reminded a second time by the anime of the Bunny Girl senpai that is currently airing. That clip made me think about how being literally alone in the world must be. You see... I one of those people that is always confident to say that enjoys solitude. While I'm not exactly antisocial, I'm also not an extrovert. Well, at least until you get to know me a little better. I only have a couple of close friends, and yeah, they know that I'm actually a memer at heart, on top of a little bit crazy Anyway, I'm most definitely a person who wouldn't even mind if I was casted away in a deserted island as long as I had enough resources to get by. And that's why this hit me so hard. If you are literally alone in the world, nothing you do makes sense anymore. In an empty world where no one could ever acknowledge you, life is meaningless. I like to say that I'm independent, that I don't give a fuck about what other people might think of me and I don't seek anyone's approval. Yeah, that sounds cool and all... And honestly it's not that it's completely false... It's just that taken to the extreme, albeit an nearly impossible one, it doesn't hold true anymore. Even if you are an independent person, you are only fine with it because you are still part of the world. There's always hope that someone will accept you as you are, without having to go out of your way to be someone you don't want to be. Being literary all by yourself though... In the end I guess we are social animals, and there's no changing that. On the other hand, that also means that just having one important person by your side can make the world for you, which you know, it's quite the romantic thought forgive my cheesiness.

  7. One advice I can offer you is to not follow the walkthrough, at all. Try and get the true end of each time block by yourself while avoiding the bad end during your first try. It's more fun that way, since your choices would have a bigger impact that way, and it feels much more satisfying finishing each time block by yourself (not to mention that it definitely feels a lot more awesome when you complete the final time block and achieve the ending by yourself, since the ending would feel like you've earned it rather than just following some walkthrough). Each time you've completed a time block, refer to the walkthrough for the bad ends you haven't acquired. Rinse and repeat the process for every time block. Complete => Refer WT => Next Time Block => Complete. And if the walkthrough doesn't provide you enough clues, just ask it here again in this thread and I'll be glad to answer. It might take a lot more work than if you just blindly follow the WT, but I guarantee that the ending feels much more emotional if you put in the hard work yourself, as you'll feel like you were fighting alongside these characters. Well, that's how I felt anyway. lol

    What are you playing?

Well, it looks like I finally finished the common route in Dies Irae. I am not sure where exactly each route splits out, but according to the walkthrough I already passed the last choice leading to Kasumi route. And, well, my first reaction is that this is a pretty good VN, but so far I don't really see anything that would make it stand out above all the others. I'll just make a list of things I liked and disliked so far: + Overall, the writing feels good. Except for (actually quite rare) SOL scenes, I never really felt bored. + I was kind of skeptical about the setting when I first heard about this VN, as I generally don't enjoy these "good guys vs bad guys" settings, but the villains are pretty well written, and the "good guys" aren't exactly that generically good either, so we'll see. + The action scenes overall are quite engaging. The plot armor for the important characters is obviously present (though it will probably become looser in the character routes), but the exact outcome of each battle isn't really that predictable. + The character art is pretty nice. +/- The music somehow manages to change between really good songs and the songs that literally make my head hurt. +/- There are way too many intermissions. It becomes pretty confusing to keep track of which information the protagonist already knows and which we know from some external source. That said, the main problems with the story structures like that is that the protagonists quite often end up looking like complete idiots in the eyes of the readers, but DI manages to avoid that so far, and the intermissions never reveal too much. +/- The plot itself is pretty average (and quite predictable) so far, but from what I understand the plot is not the main selling point of this VN. The characters also don't really stand out so far to me personally, but I hope it'll change in the character routes. - Kasumi, and quite a lot of scenes where she is involved. They somehow managed to make her a very generic osananajimi character, and most scenes where she is involved just make me cringe. Well, that's it. I don't feel like giving this a numerical rating so far because it can still change very much, but overall it feels like a very enjoyable VN, but I don't really expect it to become one of my favorites.

  9. Fureraba ~Friend to Lover~ Summary Springtime. The season of the cherry blossoms, and a time of new beginnings, new encounters, and new people. For Aoba Kyousuke, this new season marks the start of his second year in high school, and after taking a moment to reflect, and looking at the friends around him... All he can find is a dumbass too horny for his own good, and a weirdo who can't get over his strange fetish for lizard-humanoid creatures. Sure enough he enjoys hanging out with them, and he wouldn't ever think of giving it up, but something feels missing. A precious, valuable part of everyone's adolescence, and something he might just miss out on at this rate... What is that something? Why, love. So upon realizing this, he shouts out to the world-- "I WANT A GIRLFRIEND!" He'll need to give it his all, of course, because he knows that love does not come to those who just wait. Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order There are four heroines. In order to get into the routes proper, you must select the heroine in the choice screen (when available) and then select to talk about topics that interest her. This walkthrough will, among other things, clarify which topics interest a heroine. By selecting the topics within the walkthrough you will always receive a decent amount of affection and you may choose any combination of topics that interests you. Walkthrough Talk topics will be in brackets [] with the relevant questions for any heroine underneath between quotes "". Sometimes these questions will lead to further questions, which will be indicated by -->. Some questions seem to provide more affection, so I'll mark those with (EXTRA). (Will be removed in the final version of the guide) Not all possible questions will be presented, but there are enough that you will be able to move to the next stage. NOTE: For some of the girls, when you have one at stage 4 and another at stage 3 a jealousy short scene will display. Hiiragi Yuzuyu Mochizuki Rina Minahara Himari ??? Bad Ends and Flags Attribution This walkthrough is based on info attained by me, playing the game. Synopsis from NekoNyanSoft's website. 12. tfw I'm the odd man out because I'm too much of a square \/ Like I said before, though, it's not really ban evading if you're given the okay to do it by multiple mods. Besides, you'd have just received a warning or a temp ban if you hadn't spammed so much lol It wasn't meant to be a permanent punishment, just a stop-gap measure until all the spam could be cleared. I'll see if I have enough time before work to get rid of the rest of the spam. EDIT: @Clockwork Loli So, unfortunately, it appears that there's no way to recover your content, either the spam or the legitimate posts. The spam tool wiped all of it, and there's no way to recover them. I unbanned you, as the spam tool apparently applied an automatic permaban to your account. You can either go back to your old account, or keep this new one, whichever you'd prefer.

  14. Hey look at that, everything's fine. I'm glad for you. I figured you didn't do anything too crazy to deserve a permanent ban. It's not like I've been around Fuwa for so long, but I've been in forums that had nazimods and I definitely noticed it in a way shorter time period. Fuwa is actually pretty chill. I must say though, you have a peculiar way to deal with anger issues No more spamming the weeb letter from now on buddy.

  15. Good review there, and to be honest can't say much about the cons seeing that it could be pros for some people. That said I agree with you that the graphic here should be the biggest draw for the player here, seeing that the reason I'm quite interested with this was exactly because of that. As for isekai, while in anime or LN it's already oversaturated (ie too much), actually the premise like standard isekai in VN is quite rare because there's less than 100 VNs that have tag 'Protagonist from Different World', so I think I can say that isekai genre here would be quite innovative for VNs, although I need more data in regard of LNs and anime that have similar premise though.

  19. This! From the VNs I read, there were a few that managed something like that. The ones that come to mind are Koi Iro Chu! Lips, Princess Evangile, some scenes in Crescendo and KonoSora. Also scenes in Katawa Shoujo were good IMO. The abovementioned examples fit your description - while they couldn't completely break free from hentai cliches (is it even possible for h-scene?), the atmosphere was different, it wasn't all about porn for the sake of porn.

  21. Did you follow the walkthrough in order? You need to start the 11:00-12:00 block with Osawa's route first, because Osawa automatically gets the Bad End 16 if you start with him first. I made that mistake too when I thought I could just wing it on my own. lol But since you've messed up, no worries! I just completed this awesome game a few days ago, so it's Lemius to the rescue! The way to acquire this ending is by having Minorikawa texting his fellow reporters instead of asking Chiaki during 11:30. The exact quote of the choice you're looking for is, "What he needed now were dependable folks he could count on. He decided to email all his contacts from back in his staff reporter days." Pick that option, then move on to Osawa's route. TADA! If you need any more help, feel free to ask me. I pretty much acquired all 85 Bad Ends through trial and error, so I pretty much know how to get every single one of them. Hope you enjoy the game! It's awesome!

Small recommendation: just worry about completing the regular endings for now. Once you know the storyline logic, it gets easier and more intuitive to understand which choices result in which sequence of events.

  23. Way to necropost Oh well, I guess I'll try to get it back on track then. There are two kinds of h-scenes I can potentially enjoy. The first one is very funny, comedy-focused scenes. Makina from Grisaia comes to mind. I laughed way too hard. Plus it was on character on top of it! The other h-scenes I'd love to see would be those that felt more romantic rather than cheap porn. I don't know about you guys, but hentai tropes do nothing for me. I'd never get off to that. I don't know if can say the same for more intimate and realistic scenes with a heroine I came to love though For this latter type, Chihiro's h-scene from ef comes to mind. It still had plenty of hentai clichés, but the essence and atmosphere was different. It was adorable and actually brought out some aspects of Chihiro's personality that I didn't notice until then, without complety breaking the character like most VNs tend to do in their h-scenes.

    Cum On! Bukkake Ranch!

Cum On! Bukkake Ranch! Licensed by MangaGamer Summary Cum on down to the peaceful Bukkake Ranch, a good old farm out of the way from all the commotion and hubbub of the town, a place where you can relax and enjoy a quiet life with your four elementals: the salamander girl, Sara, the slime girl, Myil, the kobold, Korin, and the harpy, Papy. Life is good on the farm. That is, until the Demon Queen shows up your front lawn, demanding you create the legendary Slut’s Stone before she decides to wipe your farm off the map. This game requires you to obtain items, which can be synthesized into important items required for the storyline. Ending Guideline This is a Visual Novel with gameplay elements. There are three endings to this game, each having vastly different item-gathering methods. There are a total of seven zones (including the breeding house) where items can be gathered. Each character can gather different items at all six locations. It's your job to figure out the fastest way to obtain all of these items, as well as the necessary catalyst (Jizz, for the record) for each synthesized item. Please note: In order to activate the advanced courses, you must first obtain 500 Jizz. Walkthrough Before we actually get to the endings, you need to know how to gather each item. Each spoiler contains all of the items each character can acquire in each zone. Note that all items require copious amounts of Jizz to create, so be sure to factor in the time to acquire all of that as well. Sarah Myil Korin Papy How to obtain the important items.
