He'll be moving onto Miyabi's soon enough, but he can relish in this great achievement right now. Branch School in terms of both TL and Editing is going strong as well. We are still looking for a permanent TLC to work on this project. Please PM me if you're interested in working as a TLC for this project. That's all for this week. See you in another couple of weeks.

  2. He made it double elimination with a Winner's and Loser's Bracket. To determine what entries could got in, it seems like as long as it didn't have a fully released fan TL, or an official TL wasn't announced in some way with consistent TL progress it was allowed. One fan TL (Bishoujo Mangenkyou) got released towards the end of the contest. Here are the results : Winner's http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Winner's Bracket Loser's Bracket Rounds 1-5 http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Loser's II - Rounds 1-5 Part A http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Loser's II - Rounds 1-5 Part B http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Loser's II - Rounds 1-5 Part C http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Loser's II - Rounds 1-5 Part D Loser's Bracket Rounds 6-9 http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?&tid=470705&tclass=Loser's II - Rounds 6-9 Loser's Bracket: Top 4 and Grand Finals http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=470705&tclass=True Finals - The Top 4 So since I'm a stats nerd, I decided to extrapolate the relative 'voting strength' of how often people preferred to vote for each visual novel in relation to the winner, White Album 2. I mostly relied on Winner's Bracket since those had more votes, but in cases where weird results happened in Loser's Bracket where a VN over/underperformed or beat a VN that was lower than based on the other VN in the winner's bracket I did some little adjustments. The general mathematical equation I used to determine the proper % was "% in Match A" * "% in Match B" / 50 Rankings: 1) White Album 2 - 50.00% 2) Sakura no Uta - 49.50% 3) Soukou Akki Muramasa - 46.83% 4) Aiyoku no Eustia - 37.30% 5) Gin'iro Haruka - 32.54 6) Mahoutsukai no Yoru - 32.51% 7) Tokyo Necro - 31.56% Hoshi Ori Yume Mirai - 31.54% 9) '&' - Sora no Mukou de Sakimasu you ni - 31.07% 10) Hatsuyuki Sakura - 31.00% 11) Summer Pockets - 30.90% 12) Clover Day's - 30.57% 13)Iwaihime - 30.39% 14) Gunjou no Sora o Koete - 30.12% 15) Amatsutsumi - 30.10% 16) Suisou Ginka no Istoria - 30.06% 17) Ikusa Megami Zero - 30.04% 18) Robotics;Notes - 30.00% 19) Angel Beats! - 29.16% 20) Lovely x Cation - 29.10% 21) Inochi no Spare - 28.93% 22) Irotoridori no Sekai - 28.46% 23) Nora to Oujo to Norenako Heart - 28.21% 24) Sakura no Mori Dreamers - 28.00% 25) Kaijiri Kamui Kagura - 27.48% 26) Baldr Heart - 27.26% 27) Dekinai Watashi ga, Kurikaesu - 27.24% 28) ChronoBox - 27.18% 29) Gekkou no Carnevale - 27.08% 30) Amairo * Islenauts - 26.97% 31) Soushuu Senshinkan Gakuen - 26.57% 32) Ore-tachi no Tsubasa wa Nai - 26.43% 33) Bishoujo Mangekyou -Tsumi to Batsu no Shoujo- - 26.32% 34) Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo - 26.23% 35) Sen no Hatou, Tsukisome no Kouki - 25.99% 36) Hello, world - 25.89% 37) Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou - 25.80% 38) Walkure Romanze - 25.77% 39) Pretty x Cation - 25.31% 40) Chaos;Head Noah - 24.21% 41) Reminiscence - 24.11% 42) Fate/Extra CCC - 24.09% 43) Himawari no Kyoukai to Nagai Natsuyasumi - 24.03% 44) Kin'iro Loveriche -23.70% 45) Making*Lovers - 23.37% 46) Koi x Shin Ai Kanojo - 23.34% 47) Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - 23.00% 48) Aoi Tori - 22.31% 49) Parfait ~Chocolat Second Brew~ - 22.83% 50) White Album 1 - 21.99% 51) Yosuga no Sora - 21.93% 52) Baldr Sky "Zero" - 21.56% 53) Bishoujo Magenkyou -Norowareshi- (fan TL released towards the end of the contest) - 21.02% 54) Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! 3. In that case, then I hope that the OP @DSKS here will have fun with Daibanchou, although keep in mind that the walkthrough for that will be overwhelming for the first player though. PS - Also just in case the OP here still didn't play these two VNs, then I would recommend you to try both of Tears to Tiara (Also in case you still didn't watched it) and Venus Blood Chimera (If the OP okay with tentacle rape and mind break). Also I would like to recommend OP here to make VNDB account and list the VNs that were already finished, so that people would have easier time to give the recommendations.

  4. My unbiased opinion is that KoiKuma has fantastic fap material, but Sanoba Witch's isn't half bad either. If you want anything else from the game, then get Sanoba because KoiKuma is literally just a nukige whereas Sanoba is a full-fledged moege. My biased opinion is Sanoba Witch 10,000%. Buy copies for all your friends too.

  5. In that case, then it's still too bad though because Trip decided to not translated either Sora's, Misa's, Touko's and Rikka's route as the first route. But then again, if you've been busy perhaps it would be for the best so that at least you have something to look forward to lol. In case some of the users here didn't catch it, Tsurezure was already announced the route that will be translated first, and the first route here is Marika's which is quite surprising seeing that I did thought that Trip would save her for the last because Trip's been interested with Marika since the first time he saw her, although I understand though if he couldn't wait to translate Marika's route first. Anyway, with the announcement of the route order it mean that Tsurezure obviously already released the patch for the common route, so get the patch from their website here if you want to try it first and have fun.

  6. Apologies if this topic has been posted a lot or is pretty common, I'm new here. And I really didn't know what to search for it, and just wanted to participate in this community a bit. So yeah, as the title says anything you haven't been able to get into despite numerous attempts? Why do you keep trying to get into it if that's the case? Did you finish any where this was a problem for you? For me there are a few, Cross Channel I've tried a few times but haven't made it past the start really. I keep going back because I do generally like the genre but I just get bored of it pretty early I guess? Maybe I'll try again soon.

  7. 18+ and doesnt have to be translated. I am a big fan of osananajimi Heroine romance stories. However, its difficult to make a really good childhood friend story since the writers can't really show all the history that the MC and the friend have. What are some VNs with a childhood friend romance that you feel were really well done? If it has more substance the better. I've read Koichoco and I liked Chisato but you are only told about their history.

  8. I'll be buying both on release, but I'll probably be playing KoiKuma first, for the same lone reason that other people have cited why you might pick it. Assuming your decision is motivated by literally anything beyond fap material, among these two, you're probably better off with Sanoba. Also, RIP LocaLove.

  10. How is this even a debate? Koikuma has an egyptian catgirl heroine. Thats one of the best things I have ever see. Trust me, you will get your money's worth from Koikuma 10/10 fap material.

  12. Sounds like a difficult choice seeing that both of those were pretty much a moege, except not really. Especially when we knew that Nekonyan did have mouth watering announcements and still the new company, while Sekai is already established a number of fortune and yet the releases along with the announcements were pretty much quite less than desired (Most of those) not to mention the controversy that was surrounding them. So yeah rather than give the money to Sekai you better use the money to help Nekonyan there, and with that we could get to see more of them in the future. PS - As for the VNs in question Sanoba did have some character development, while apparently Bokukotsu only did have some moe element. So I would say that just go for Sanoba there.

  13. What I've seen of Ditzy Demons has seemed pretty good, but if your choice is either one or the other, Sabbath is a full length title whereas Ditzy Demons is more of a nukige.

    Sanoba Witch or KoiKuma

Definitely Sanoba. First of all it's a game from Yuzusoft, developer of games like Noble Works and Dracu Riot. Also, Nekonyansoft showed pretty good level of translation when they released Fureraba.

  15. Sanoba Witch of course. Yuzusoft games is always worth buying. KoiKuma is another unfinished vn without fandisc. Also it is Sekai, who knows how translation turns out.

  16. I like the games of Yuzusoft. So Sanoba Witch wins my vote.

  22. From the games I played, recently I really liked Mirai from Koiiro. Also, Hikari and Saya from Miagete are kind of childhood friends for protagonist, and in this VN there are lenghty retrospections. If you can read untranslated, then you can read +18 version Konomi and Tamaki from ToHeart2 Ageha from Konosora Chiho from PrincessEvangile Hinata from NobleWorks Rina from Fureraba Runa and Yukino from Hatsukoi 1/1 Asumi from Heart de Roommate (kind of ) Main heroines from Majikoi (Miyako, Momoyo and Kazuko aka Wanko) could be considered too. The next one is put here half jokingly, but she was the first childhood friend heroine I experienced, and might be responsible for my affection towards them: Mikae from True Love

  23. I caught a nasty cold this last weekend and all I wanted to do was sit on the couch, so I binge-watched Princess Principal over two days. Man, was that ever a good decision. First of all, the setting and themes were right up my alley: steampunk, sci-fi, turn-of-the-century, alternate history version of England, spies... Good shit! It was a relief to find that there was hardly any boring school stuff (apparently "principal" meant something else...), and instead the episodes were generally filled with action, plot, and character development. The characters were uniformly excellent, and the plot was super compelling! I thought I saw the twist coming, but how wrong I was. The dash of sci-fi helped a lot of the action scenes feel unique and fun, but even when it wasn't using that angle, the action scenes delivered, over, and over. The show even had good subs (official, by Sentai)! I only have one small complaint, which was that the ending wasn't much of a resolution. I'm glad there's a second season of sorts coming up (five movies, I think?), both because I loved the show and want more of it, and because I'm hoping for a more complete resolution. Here's hoping! For my next show, I just started on Made in Abyss, yet another thing I promised a friend I'd watch several months ago. It's pretty cool! The setting is really engaging, and the setup is interesting. I'm only one episode in, so I've just scratched the surface, but I like what I've seen so far and am looking forward to more. That said, I'm already unimpressed with the (again, official, from Sentai) subs. They're not bad per se, but the tone of the subs often really clashes with the tone of the spoken line (frightened one- or two-word exclamations turn into long complete sentences, for example), and there's no clear attempt at characterization in the subs; all the people kinda sound the same, despite large age gaps.

    Hello everyone

Welcome to Fuwanovel and sorry for the belated greeting. I see that you did learned some Japanese there, so good luck on your study there. I hope that you have fun here, and there's nothing wrong if you learn Japanese from nukige because most of those were did have simple Japanese there, therefore making it a good VN to learn Japanese ironically.

    Hatsukoi 1/1

Hatsukoi 1/1 Summary Yuuma is a second year student at the prestigious public school Hoshioka Gakuen. It is known for offering a fulfilling school life, but he has yet to experience love and spends his days lacking any satisfaction. He hasn’t made any progress with his classmates nor his osananajimi. All he can do is look at his love interest, the student council leader Midori, from a distance. One day, he saw her with a troubled face. It seemed that the remaining members of the school cafeteria improvement committee had resigned. After giving it some thought, he volunteered to lead the committee. After that fateful moment, his surroundings became a lot more lively and before long, his first love had blossomed. Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order This VN has five heroines, Maya, Kyou, Midori, Yukino, and Runa. Since this is charage, feel free to play whatever order you like. That said, Route Guideline As for the choices that didn't exist in this walkthrough, all of those were available after past May 2nd in which you're already locked at one route. Therefore, if you see the choice after May 2nd, feel free to chose whichever you like. Tsukishima Kyou Tokizaki Maya Makabe Midori Fujikawa Runa Morino Yukino Attribution This walkthrough is based from the walkthrough made by the translator themselves with some adjustment made by myself.
