I personally have never heard of Love Lab before, but the hired known translator Blickwinkel for this translation, so at least we don't have to fear a MTL. It's been forever since I posted here, but I thought I'd hop in and say HELLO since I'm the owner of Love Lab ^^ We're really excited to be working on LAMUNATION! I know it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you're into crazy comedy then this is the game for you! I'm so glad I didn't got involved in this. That aside, people seem to not see the problem being a part of a bigger picture - the community itself. I don't think we're capable of anything remotely constructive anymore as a community, the self-loathing meme is off the charts.

The first three I list below are the closest to what you want. I'd honestly recommend any of the games on this list for individuals who hide their abilities from others, but Hello, Lady's Narita Shinri and Devils Devel Concept's Shigure Sora are the closest to Kaito in terms of 'hiding abilities and comparitively stronger/more capable than those around them'. Another update from the translator himself, which admittedly that I was late in posting this. Here's another tweet from Trip below. That penguin aside, I believe that the time for new HatsuKoi patch here is almost close. After that of course there'll be Hoshiori, and I hope that we'll be able to see the progress of that in the near future.

Surprised I haven't seen anyone here post about the DGS translation project, but just in case anyone is interested I wanted to let you all know. Scarlet Study has been translating the game for a while now, and after not having any releases for around 10 months they finally dropped episode 3-4 the other day. And on top of that, they made the translation for the Android port of the game as well, so it's much easier to get ahold of it. Apparently the final case shouldn't take nearly as long to release, so the game should be finished soon! Anyone else happen to play this yet? Gonna be picking up the game in a few days on no life-ing it for a week or so.

So just to give an update: I finished translating Saint Irene/Lavria's chapter (Chapter 3) last Friday ^^. Just didn't get to post an update here until now. Next up would be Chapter 4 (Licia's chapter), and this is going to be the longest chapter to translate with about 12500 lines, so yeah, it's going to take me quite a while to finish translating this. As for partial patch-wise, I'm still doing final checks on Chapter 2 (Eris' chapter) before handing it to QC. QC on Prologue and Chapter 1 (Fione's chapter) is more or less done, so just Eris' chapter left and some final checks before we release the partial patch

sry for my late answer, had much stuff to do. Working on that patch too. If you can send me screenshots on which parts do you get crashing?... I had few crashes in the FAKKU version too, but I don't think is cause of the patches. The First problem is you don't have a patch.xp3 file, so you have to rename the patch2.xp3 to patch.xp3. Second problem is, it still won't work because I have to use the same encryption as the Japanese game, in other words. I have to have the Japanese game and recreate a patch for the japanese version. That's why we have 2 Versions of patches ( steam and Fakku ). If you want the problem be resolved you can send me a PM.
