  1. It plucks the threads that make us dance, finger and toe... We surrender, in joy, to the lowest of the foul and rank. We submerge through darkness, rancid filth, hour by hour we move downward, ever closer to hell. In a slow, steady, gait. Now, let the world resonate: Sloth, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Lust, Wrath, and Pride. A bell of chaos that tolls human desires. After two thousand long years, the one sealed gate to the demonic world will open! DESTRUCTION! CARNAGE! and DESPAIR! Let your instincts drive you! Entrap this world in fear! As the very name MaggieROBOT strikes terror into the hearts of mankind! And I will become the order to rule this wasteland, engulf with pandemonium. The demonic power that was once imprisoned in the depths of Fuwa... will be MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHA! __________________________ | | | Just Maggie. | | | | OK | | | ___________________________ Now, let the Maggie worshipping begin, aha~ DISCLAIMER: That was supposed to be a milestone thread, but the AMA thing is getting old. So here's a new edgy twist to the thing~ I don't know what you guys are supposed to do with that, so... Start a new religion maybe, Idk.

  2. I just finished it, and I thought it was a pretty solid game. In full disclosure, I've opted not to write a full review on it since a couple friends of mine worked on the localization, but I haven't seen anybody talking about it, so I thought I should at least start a thread here. First of all, the gameplay is pretty fun! I have only a little past experience with ero RPGs (like... three games, I guess?), and with the notable exception of Alicesoft titles, I've generally found them to be pretty thin on the gameplay. But Re;lord has pretty solid gameplay! The combat requires you to do a lot of clicking, trading off between left- and right-clicking to attack and guard, and it's all in real-time. No taking your time over a decision on a turn-based strategy game: click or be clicked. It's not the most complex system, and it does stop evolving about halfway through the game, but it's both active and challenging without feeling punishing or random (which often seems to happen to poorly designed turn-based RPGs). The leveling up of skills is fine; nothing special here, but still a decent gameplay element. And the last gameplay element is the map-conquering segment of the game, which is also pretty gratifying, though it's very easy (they didn't get the balance right here). The gameplay has various balance issues (for instance... you should probably just stick to the Wind spell most of the time and leave Fire alone), but they're only ever imbalanced in a way that makes the game easier, at least, and the game is still often challenging, all the way through the end (especially the optional hidden boss, which I eventually gave up on, because they were pretty darn difficult!). The script is pretty good. More typos than I would like, and there's some issue with line breaking around ellipses that gets annoying at times, but fortunately there just aren't that many ellipses hanging around. The writing is funny (cape jokes for miles), and also timely (right-wing nationalists, ahoy). The latter admittedly makes me a bit squeamish, but given the ending, I suspect it's not going to stay quite as hard-line on that front. The only downside to the game, really, is that, while the story reaches a reasonable stopping point at the end, it barely scratches the surface of where it wants to go. So, get out there and buy it, so we can get localized releases of volume 2 and volume 3. Do it for the cape jokes.

  4. Once again sorry for not so creative title there lol. Anyway we got last chapter of Supipara (For now) released, and this time the main heroine of this chapter was our half French tsundere who managed to said 'kill' in one conversation Hotaru Angeline Amano. What I knew is that this time we gonna get knew more about Hotaru's past, which should be more interesting compared to Sakura. Oh, and there's also a mysterious character appearance as well. Well have fun and feel free to discuss this, also here's both of Mangagamer and Steam link if you want to purchase it. PS - I just saw Steam opening, and I think it's pretty exciting now that we knew the identity of our two remaining heroines for both of Passion and Love Chapter. For the info, Passion Chapter will be focused on our masochist miko Momiji, and Love will be focused on our new mysterious character. I look forward to the eventual release of the last two chapters, although it might be take long time (Maybe at 2022 lol). By the way Steam opening did still have 2D animation, although it didn't have good lighting as eden and ef though (Understandable). PPS - For seiyuu info, Hotaru was voiced by Yamada Yuna who is pretty much experienced in voicing minori VNs (Yuuko from ef and Elicia from eden). Although recently she did more work for non minori VNs such as Jounouchi Makoto from Chrono Clock and Fujita Konron from Majokoi.

  8. This VN is an odd duck on my long list of recommended VNs. While its existence as a time loop story is a trope, the way the game's story handles it is pretty interesting. I went ahead and revealed this as a loop story because you find it out so early on that hiding it as a spoiler is meaningless. The game's story begins with the protagonist meeting (and helping out) Nodoka, one of the four heroines, and her confessing her love to him on the next day when she transfers into the class. While he is at first somewhat bothered by this, he eventually falls for her, loves her... and then suddenly wakes up on the second day of the month, the day after he first met her. Now, you will go through a lot of route loops before the game is over (you have to see all four heroine loops, plus a bunch of side loops, to get access to the endings), and a lot of these have seriously crazy outcomes. The protagonist, being a young idiot, goes off and tests everything he can find (often to hilarious results), and his 'morality' tends to be rather fragile when it comes to having fun (in one loop he ends up gambling so hard he gets sold to an organ broker, lol). To be honest, the journey through the non-heroine loops is probably the most attractive part of this VN. The music is slightly below the average quality of the industry, as is the art (though that is comparison to the present day), but the game as a whole has a lot of laughs and good moments. The protagonist, Minato, is essentially your average (slightly baka but not totally stupid) harem protagonist who is kind to everyone and as dense as the lead plating protecting a fission reactor's core. Minato has solid reasons for being dense about the three heroines other than Nodoka (Nodoka being very open), based in his past relationships with the others (Inori being his abusive childhood friend, Korone being his little sister, and Yuuki being so friendly to everyone it is difficult for a harem protagonist to see it in her, lol). That said, that is perhaps the most annoying part of his character, though it gets relieved over time. Explaining the heroines to this game is counterproductive. I'm not being mean, but if I were to start explaining the heroines, I would probably ruin the experience for you. I really advise you not to read the character profiles (both because they are deliberately inaccurate and because forming your own impressions of the heroines is important to getting into this VN. There are five endings to this game. One for each of the heroines and the true (harem, no H) ending. The heroine endings are mostly kind of bittersweet, because there are solid reasons why things aren't going to end perfectly, but the true/harem ending is pretty hilarious. Other than the true ending, I liked Korone's ending the best, both because I liked the outcome and because it was the happiest one other than the true one. Edit: Incidentally, Inori is probably the only case I've ever heard of where they handled the tsundere osananajimi realistically (rather than just using the sides as a contrast).

  12. Fureraba ~Friend to Lover~ Summary Springtime. The season of the cherry blossoms, and a time of new beginnings, new encounters, and new people. For Aoba Kyousuke, this new season marks the start of his second year in high school, and after taking a moment to reflect, and looking at the friends around him... All he can find is a dumbass too horny for his own good, and a weirdo who can't get over his strange fetish for lizard-humanoid creatures. Sure enough he enjoys hanging out with them, and he wouldn't ever think of giving it up, but something feels missing. A precious, valuable part of everyone's adolescence, and something he might just miss out on at this rate... What is that something? Why, love. So upon realizing this, he shouts out to the world-- "I WANT A GIRLFRIEND!" He'll need to give it his all, of course, because he knows that love does not come to those who just wait. Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order There are four heroines. In order to get into the routes proper, you must select the heroine in the choice screen (when available) and then select to talk about topics that interest her. This walkthrough will, among other things, clarify which topics interest a heroine. By selecting the topics within the walkthrough you will always receive a decent amount of affection and you may choose any combination of topics that interests you. Walkthrough Talk topics will be in brackets [] with the relevant questions for any heroine underneath between quotes "". Sometimes these questions will lead to further questions, which will be indicated by -->. Some questions seem to provide more affection, so I'll mark those with (EXTRA). (Will be removed in the final version of the guide) Not all possible questions will be presented, but there are enough that you will be able to move to the next stage. NOTE: For some of the girls, when you have one at stage 4 and another at stage 3 a jealousy short scene will display. Hiiragi Yuzuyu Mochizuki Rina Minahara Himari ??? Bad Ends and Flags Attribution This walkthrough is based on info attained by me, playing the game. Synopsis from NekoNyanSoft's website. 14. One of the fun things about reading fiction is we get to "know" people with many different viewpoints. It has the benefit of increasing our understanding and our empathy. And for a long time this was just something said with nothing behind it, so it's good that studies are starting to observe the same thing, psychological study though, so take it with a grain of salt ohohoho : The study, conducted by Kingston University in London, found that readers were more likely to act in a socially acceptable manner compared to those who preferred watching television. Instead, TV lovers came across as less friendly and less understanding of others’ views. But, no ordinary book will do because it turns out the type of literature you choose also has a huge impact on your emotional intelligence. The study revealed that fiction fans showed more positive social behaviour while readers of drama and romance novels were found to be the most empathic. https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/people-who-read-books-are-nicer-kingston-university-study-fiction-a7721096.html So when fiction helps us delve into the minds of people who we don't usually associate with, that's an excellent result. That being said the writing becomes terrible when people with certain viewpoints get inserted into a novel for the sole purpose of being knocked down. Often their views are painted as superficial or wrong or backward, and the superior views win out easily. This sort of horrible writing is often called "stop pushing your bloody agenda" and tends to become annoying (depending on your viewpoint obviously). That being said, a right wing nationalist protagonist who likes to scream "sieg heil Zaalrant"? I expect either sillyness or some kind of agenda pushing from that. But you've convinced me to give it a whirl

  19. In days gone by, if a military plane was shot down behind enemy lines, the surviving crew (sometimes just one) needed to hide and escape, meaning they had a real risk of being on their own for days. They needed a water supply, which is small and light to have on an aircraft, yet can be filled with a lot of water and carried around. It turned out condoms are good for that and during WW2, all the planes were crewed with people, who had multiple condoms in their pockets. In fact this system was used for decades, but they have something custom designed for the task today.

  23. Bankruptcy is a strange thing. Sometimes it ends everything and sometimes it doesn't. Usually when a company goes bankrupt, they owe a lot of money and can't pay. Some outsider is assigned to manage the company to make as much money as possible in order to pay the bills. This mean it can be entirely possible that one VN producer goes bankrupt and then MG pays a one time fee for licensing every single of their VNs. In fact being bankrupt they might be legally forced to just say yes to the highest offer. It's also possible that somebody buys the rights without any intension of making their own VNs. It's an investment in sales from DMM and similar and to maximize their profits, they can license to MG. Gog.com has managed to license a bunch of games from companies, which died long before gog was founded. Sure a bankruptcy will make things more complicated, but it's not the same as licenses becomes impossible.

His form is impossible for the eye to grasp, as the world is entirely contained in one of his many stomachs, and this is merely one of his incarnations, devoid of intelligence and driven by the most primal urges of the universe-devouring monster* *The orange-eyed people spread out from the spot of the summoning, devouring the people in the surrounding city in sprays of blood and screams of agony mixed with ecstasy, as the devoured come to know that they are loved. The devoured rise, their bodies made whole, their eyes glowing as orange as the ones who loved them, and they spread out to further spread the word across the world.*

    Moe

I wouldn't say I'm obsessed with moe in general, but I do enjoy it quite a lot. I'm not sure what makes it tick for me, but there are pointlessly moe anime like K-on and Yuru Yuri that really hit home with me, but I couldn't stand Yuyushiki despite it being just as pointless and moe as the other two. I don't think I could dedicate more than 30 hours to a VN if it was dedicated entirely to girls being cute. I don't think moe is a detriment to serious stories at all as the attachment I feel towards cute girls does enhance the emotions I feel for them when drama starts to escalate.

    `

Don't really have a wide pool to draw from but I'd have to agree with PE for moege. It's really really fun to read, and relaxing and soothing too. The first 2 or 3 hours are the time I've come to refer to as the "hump period" where I need to get pulled in. I found myself being pulled in almost immediately, which doesn't always happen with me. From there things got better and better. I really like that the synopses present it as a simple story, but it winds up surpassing that and striking above its weight. It's obviously not to the point of making a grand statement like something like Fate/Stay Night, but it still wound up being interesting in a few ways that I didn't see coming - ways that made me reflect on my own life. That's always a bonus when it comes to a VN and indeed is one of the reasons I like the medium so much. Plus it does a lot of things pretty well - the art is quite pleasant, the music is really nice (with several tracks being standouts or memorable), and the thing I like most is it sticks to its plot relatively well. the Steam release also didn't have issues with bugs that I noticed (aside from the overlay itself not working) which helped. Also some of the scenes were genuinely hilarious to the point where I had to pause reading so I could laugh for (literally) a few minutes). In the end, Vincennes became somewhere I would want to visit IRL if possible - just like the Future Gadget Laboratory from Steins;Gate, and Yamaku, from Katawa Shoujo. I didn't go into it with high expectations but wound up feeling happy when I read it, relaxed, and comfortable. I'm waiting until I've forgotten the story and will reread (common route + favorite route (Rise FTW)) it in a year or two. It's going to be only the second VN I've ever reread.

For those who are interested, here is the first real comedy VN of the year... The protagonist, Takuma, having returned to his hometown to live alone in his family's old house, finds that it has collapsed in on itself, and, desperate for a place to stay, ends up staying at the homes of his four childhood friends (osananajimi). This leads to various hilarious antics and situations, with most of the heroines being 'ponkotsu' types (meaning that they are the kind of girls no sane man would want as a girlfriend if he knew their real personality). First is Kyou, the 'older sister' of the group... to be blunt, she is the single laziest human being I've ever seen in a VN. She and her mother are the type that seek marriage solely so that their husband can feed them, clean up after them, and support them financially. If she tries to cook, explosions ensue; she won't even consider doing laundry; and her room looks like mine did in middle school (I never really did see the point of putting things away back then, lol). Incidentally, don't expect any of this to change (the heroines are fundamentally ponkotsu types from beginning to end). Second is Hiyori, the blonde idiot daughter of the owner of a cafe that specializes in Japanese sweets and teas. She is air-headed, clingy, and she has a tendency to do stupid things just because she feels like it. Worse, her mother, a widow, takes aim on Takuma almost from the moment of his arrival. The third is Ayaka... Ayaka, when compared to her family, is a quite normal girl. However, with an OCD mother who thinks men are filthy pathogens, a little sister who is yandere over Ayaka herself, a little brother who is addicted to masturbation, and an overprotective father... that really isn't saying much. In reality, she has a strong interest in sexual matters, wants Takuma to be her oniichan, and is very much a schemer/manipulator by nature. The fourth girl is Rito, the childhood friend that Takuma used to think was a guy. This leads to an immediate argument, of course, but she quickly turns into a clingy, emotionally dependent girl who alternates between aggressively seeking Takuma's affections and snarling viciously at anyone who gets in the way. With that particular cast of characters and a protagonist who tends to want to turn everything into a joke himself, you have a recipe for a first-class comedy game. Of course, most of it is boke-tsukkomi (manzai) type humor, save for the fact that all the characters are running jokes in and of themselves. There are no real serious points in this VN, and the only time the story actually feels romantic is during Rito's path... and that actually made it the least enjoyable of the four main paths. There are also three endings other than those of the four main heroines... a 3P ending with the yandere imouto, an extra ending with Nanako (the girl who steals Takuma's food all the time), and a 'normal ending' that probably would have ended up as a yaoi ending in some other games, lol. Overall, I left this VN feeling laughed out. I probably won't replay it, because I don't imagine it would be funny twice, but I honestly enjoyed it for what it was... an excuse to break out into real-life laughter to the point where my throat and head started to hurt worse than they already are (I have the flu right now, yaaay!).

  37. It's more complex than that. Use the right size Discard if damaged, like nail scratches, even if the damage doesn't cause a hole. It is a weak point, which can burst under load Make sure he is fully erect Discard if attempted to put on inside out, don't turn it around. The outside will get contaminated with pre-cum, which contains a bit of sperm Make sure there are no air pockets Use lube if not pre-lubed. If it gets stuck inside, he will just pull out of the condom and not realize until it's too late Do not use two condoms for extra protection. The grinding between the two can cause both to burst After ejaculation, the penis shrinks instantly. Hold on to the condom with your hand while pulling out because it is instantly too big and no longer sticks to the penis The size issue is more complex than first meets the eye. It's mainly about width rather than length, though too short is an issue. The same size is not called the same in all countries and not all sizes are available everywhere. Having African genes makes it hard to find one big enough in Asia. What is small in one country might be large in another because some countries renamed them to large, giant... you get the idea. Apparently too few wanted to ask in the store for size small.
