What's even going on here? This girl has tan skin, pink hair, red eyes, and is underaged. There are multiple degrees of nonexistence with this combination. Do girls with pink hair even exist in the world? No. But that hasn't stopped us from reaching an unprecedented level of intersectionality that can appeal only to those who reside in a level of separation from reality that I had never thought possible. Is there such an overabundance of free time among certain people that we've now strived to achieve every permutation of unrealistic gimmicks? Anyway, can I use your Japanese cell phone number to register my online mobile game account via an SMS code?6 points

The rural areas of Kentucky that I visited pretty much fit the whole southern stereotype to a T. General dislike for Californians and citizens of western states, lots of guns, dislike for people that don't "fit the norm", a strong emphasis on Christianity, and celebration of the history of the Confederacy. Now, admittedly, it's not all like that, but those places definitely exist, and it's not just some anti-south circlejerk. It really sucks because what I saw of the state was beautiful.1 point -

Has anyone tried The Shadows of Pygmalion?

I'm going to start reading it today, with the intent to do a FuwaReview of it. But that'll almost certainly take a while (at least a week, probably more like two); I don't have the ability to read a VN for more than an hour or two at a stretch, so don't know if you want to wait that long for just my opinion1 point -

I haven't gotten too far, but I started it and it seems very interesting. I really like the atmosphere and writing. The art is a bit unique, but it grew on me after a bit of time in game. I'd say it's worth a shot, though keep in mind I haven't read too much yet.1 point -

Of course it's catgirls. Did the nekopara success just make every Japanese eroge dev go "we can make big bucks if we release a catgirl VN on steam!" ?1 point -
Kyonyuu Fantasy would fit the bill, but it's a nukige. It apparently has a pretty good amount of world building, according to those that have read all of it. Aselia the Eternal also takes place in a medieval setting, and has gameplay, so you might want to check that out if you're looking for another game/VN hybrid. ...still waiting for Eustia, August...1 point

Hello all, I'm happy to announce that I've translated over half of Shinigami to Shoujo through VNR on the PPSSPP. Thus far, I've translated most of the common route, as well as Hinase, Kirishima (for his in particular, I've skipped some parts that were difficult to translate), and Tooya's route. The only routes I haven't really touched yet is Chiyo's route (which is mostly just Kirishima's route) and Ao's route. If you want to contribute to the translations as well, feel free to let me know. If you have some corrections for me, feel free to let me know, too. Otherwise, I'll be adding more translations sporadically and posting updates whenever I can. I would also like to comment that Shinigami to Shoujo is one of the deepest (and longest) otome games I've ever played so far. The themes in this game are especially profound, and I quite enjoy the voice acting. All in all, I've been having a delightful time playing and translating this game. I encourage everyone to try this game out! Until next time, Eirrir1 point

Addition: Run the game once when you have mounted the .iso file. The game will only ask for it once. Then in order not to be asked everytime, for instance, if you moved your game folder to another computer, copy-paste the savedata located at, if I remember correctly, "C:\Users\yourname\Documents\月に寄りそう乙女の作法" to the other computer. That's actually read as "Otome Riron to Sono Shuuhen - Ecole de Paris", the fandisc to Tsuriotsu.1 point

I don't know if this fits on "no-pirating" policies, but let's. If you downloaded the ISO file to install it, you just need to run it with DVD "simulators" (not the right word here) such as Daemon Tools. It will be recognized as a DVD.1 point
