This VN has caught my eye for quite sometime now and I'm wondering if it's worth buying it. I'm a fan of the Zero Escape series and this game seems to be kinda similar.

I looked at getting a few of the games I wanted to play. The prices are astronomical! What do consumers in Japan pay for these games? Maybe I'll just make a deal with myself, pirate the game, and give the price of the game to a local charity.

I'm pretty sure we all wanted to go the Kenji route, and dominate the world.

I would say stick with the anime. It has cuter characters (the art style in the VN is a little outdated), better comedy (you know, Kyoto Animation and stuff) and a proper arc for Yukine (just a stump in the VN). You're only missing out on short stories for the mom&dad Furukawas.

Actually there are 4 versions at least. Killer Queen - the original, made by a doujin group before they formed a company Secret Game: Killer Queen - a remake of Killer Queen, made by Regista (the same company who did I/O and Root Double.) I don't know how much Nakazawa was actually involved in it. Secret Game: 2nd Stange - the next game in the series, was too rushed and thus pretty much unfinished. Rebellions: Secret Game - a remake of Secret Game: 2nd Stage, expands on the story by basically adding and rewriting about 80% of the original (they added a few more routes too). Was written by the Root Double team. Yeah it has a similar premise as the Zero Escape series. Are these games any good? Maybe, who knows, lol.

Yeah, the translation won't be coming anytime soon. They should have just started translating and if the Xtend version comes out just adapt the translation to that version. The only route with any major changes is the last route so there is no reason to wait for Xtend port to be announced for the pc.

Well, the only thing I was able to do in the admin CP was to change it from <embed src="$1.swf" play="true" loop="true" quality="best" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" pluginspace="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" /> to <embed width="800" height="150" src="$1.swf" play="true" loop="true" quality="best" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" pluginspace="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" /> So from now on every flash that is not youtube/deviant/other will be 800x150 so you can spam us with flash signatures, although if I ever hear a single sound coming from someones signature, all swf will be banned instantly xD Excessively animated stuff will also be removed since its a distraction on a normally static website forum is = the important part is the text and excessive animation in signatures and avatars will just be distracting when reading posts, so keep that in mind, I guess some mouseover navigation should be fine. PS: if you know what I should put into that code instead of the fixed width and height parameters to let poster define the dimensions from the tag like let me know, but I have no idea xD This is the only thing that came in mind.

ahhh how could i forget..I played 'don't take it personally, babe, it just ain't your story' it was pretty fun. I love how the protag is divorced many times lol.The uniqueness is makin me intrigue for this novel. Well japanesse translated vn usually your ordinary highschool guy.Canvas 2,Dame koi and Austeia protag is examples of vn where the protag is an adult. I love the diffrence of perspective.
