Post-WW2 Japan including underworld internal power struggles fueled by ambition and incompatible ideologies, influence peddling with the occupying forces, straight confrontation between mafias... It's also a relevant evidence that the visual novel can broaden its audience, more than just otaku, by delivering stories dealing about controversials and very modern topics.
