Gaia the Floating Prison Ship Review

For this week VNTS Review, I just make a parody one of the new project, Hyouryuu Kangoku Chronos, by changing 'Chronos' with 'Gaia' in the English title of it, Chronos the Floating Prison Ship, so we have 'Gaia the Floating Prison Ship' as this week VNTS Review. The reason for 'Gaia' name here is because we have a new plan from Ninetail that they'll do the Kickstarter to localize Venus Blood Gaia, which mean obviously it'll be their next project. Welcome to this week VNTS, and as what I can say is that personally I thought that this week is a bit plain to me although at least it looks quite active with several new projects and updates, so overall I can say that this week is below average. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week.

Cherry Kiss localized yet another nukige, and I like on how they localized the synopsis into meta commentary. In case you're curious of when said nukige will be released, it'll be at 24th later. We also have fault's developer announced that they'll release Chapter 1 of Silence the Pendant (Turned out the prequel of fault will be divided into chapters) called Lightkravte at 28th later (The Steam store page of it), and I can only say the developer definitely has a lot of rough time considering that we still didn't have promised second part of fault 2 (side below) yet. Shiravune announced they'll release Monochrome Mobius at September 7th later (Actually they announced it a month ago, although back then there's no VNDB entry of it), and said VN is RPG VN with the casts are some of Utawarerumono 2 characters with the time setting is several years before Utawarerumono 2. Honestly I prefer Shiravune announced new interesting VN, but this should be good enough for Utawarerumono fans.

There's Pure Pure new patch in which it did translate all but one part of the story (Currently said VN was fully translated), and said translation in the patch is unedited because the editor did left the team. You can get it at their Discord, and here's hoping that someday they'll get the new editor to finishing the editing process (Although if you want to read Pure Pure immediately, then you can do it right now and have fun). There's also a new VN release from a fan group, and said VN is Hoka no Otoko in that it's a VN with NTR element with the premise is the MC decided to asking his little brother to impregnate his wife because the MC has been sterile and his wife want to have a child. Anyway you can get the VN in case you're in mood for some NTR nukige (I knew that the genre is quite divisive, but at least I know there's some fans of said genre), and have fun.

In regard of Chronos that I mentioned earlier, it's newest Rattan Man project which mean it's obviously another Black Lilith VN so beware of some disturbing contents, and right now it's been at 5% translated. In case you've been waiting for Akagoei 1 translation patch, currently Daybreak did prepare the full patch of it before finally release it so the wait shouldn't be too long. For the remaining fan translation updates, we have Senmomo was at 56.17% edited with Chapter 4 was at 8.33% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 44.03% translated, Imaimo was past a quarter (28%) translated with common route was fully translated and Matsuri's route was at 44.5% translated, Ruitomo was at 16.67% translated with common route was at 73.57% translated, Eustia was at 96.67% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 82.28% in programming, and 99 out of 139 script files for Mizuha's route of Ginharu was translated.

Lastly we have Ninetail announce that they'll do the Kickstarter for the aforementioned Venus Blood Gaia, and said Kickstarter will be started at July 2022 later. What I can say is that Ninetail here really going all out to localized their modern Venus Blood VNs (Post Frontier), although if I may say what I prefer then I would say that I prefer Ragnarok, Lagoon, or their newest one Savior. That said, I understand if Ninetails decided to do Gaia first if they want to localize all of modern Venus Blood VNs, because all of their VN after Hypno/Hollow use Unity engine (From what I read somewhere) and Ninetails may need some more time before they can worked on the engine. Anyway Gaia itself has different gameplay compared to previous two translated Venus Blood VNs, and I'll tell more of it when Ninetail reveal their Kickstarter page later (Also good luck to Ninetail in regard of the preparation).

That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

PS - Forget to mention that we also have some progress on Aojashin's sex scenes translation, and currently both of Case 1 and 2 sex scenes were fully translated which mean halfway of the sex scenes were translated (For the info Aojashin here has 17 sex scenes, and both of Case 1 and 2 has 9 sex scenes in total).
