Eiyuu Senki Gold's Character Information and Tier List!

CeruleanGamer

75895 views

Just a preview of characters and their usefulness in the game Eiyuu Senki Gold. I thoroughly enjoyed the series especially in higher difficulties and would like to share which characters are great to focus on.

S Rank - God Tier - Characters in this category are game-changers and will make the battle effortless. Very Hard/Nightmare mode battles become Normal Mode in the presence of this characters.

5688-1105393853.jpg

Achilles - Illuminati's tsundere whose pride is her peerless speed. Boasting 15 base Speed, she will always be the first to move unless the enemy has Gullinbursti. Her attacks have very low delay and her basic attack is Kick which is the best basic for melee. Turbo Kick generates a lot of Brave, almost 2-3x more than what you spent for it if you hit a non-weakness. Her Chiron Step is a 17 hitter and will fill the Brave gauge to maximum if it doesn't hit attribute weakness. Combined with Dagda Mace she can produce +85 delay with this move or 25 delay with her 2 Brave Turbo Kick. Futsuno Mitama also works for her well due to her hit counts or Wind Wheels (+3 Speed) to further boost her speed.

4485ae323b460eb87d4ccc2b49e4bbcd.jpg

Sun Tzu - Her stats are very well spread for an Art user, with 5/7/8/2. But that's not why she's awesome. Do her events as soon as possible because her Deception passive gives everyone INCLUDING HER a +50% brave gain bonus! It's clearly the best in the game. So that attack that normally gives you 4 brave? It now gives you 6 brave! You can perform your Hero skills much more often with her on the field. Her buff skills are pretty overpowered too: Mountain Training gives +1 STR/AGI and Encourage doubles damage for an ally's next attack. As for equips, you can simply improve her Defense or Agility or give her Starting Brave items like Triton's Magical Shell or Gjallarhorn.

Ishikawa%20Goemon-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-475

Ishigawa Goemon - She's quite fast and has the best single hitting hero attack in the game due to its 500% multiplier, 50 delay, and guaranteed critical. As long as you can keep her HP at 80% and above, her Flash Skill will always have 100% chance to critical with Onimaru (+50% critical when HP>80%). I gave her Vimana (-30 wait) to get rid of Flash Skill's wait time and make it a reliable source of damage because it only has 50 delay. There's 2 different ways to approach her. You can use Wings of Icarus so she can Flash Kill/Zantetsuken more often (lower both these moves to 30 delay only!) or give her Vajra (+50% critical) to immensely raise her damage to the point that she can still do 20k-30k damage with Zantetsuken even with half troops. She's best positioned in the middle row instead of front so she doesn't take too much damage. She also has Shadow Stitch, a Throw attribute attack that adds +30 delay. Fairly useful to hit Throw, Gun, Bow, and Cannon units with if you don't want to give them any brave gains.

5688-1558721931.jpg

Siegfried - AKA "The Wall" of Illuminati. Has 15 base Defense! If you place her on the front lines, it gives her 2 more Defense and when you use Balmung, she gets 3 more for a total of 20 Defense! Only critical hits can go through her but if you equip her with Ochain, she will only take 30% damage from those. Combined with Soma, she will be immortal as long as enemies don't poison/venom her. For those tough battles with no turn limit, she will be quite handy in soloing those so you don't have too many casualties. I personally like her design, so that's additional points for being God Tier.

Palamedes-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-5688-499779

Palamedes - Your source of Venom, Poison and Brave stealing in 1! The only Knights of Round deserving of the God tier rank. With a 4/9/7/2 base stat distribution, she can stay alive quite long and also not worry falling behind in turns like most Art users and their crappy Speed stat. You can keep hitting for attribute weakness and not suffer the consequences all thanks to her very useful hero skill Prywen. Make sure to use it conservatively; it has a very high delay once used but it can drain the enemy's entire brave gauge if it hits all 5 enemies in a cross shape.

4758-854868223.jpg

Gilgamesh - 9/7/7/3 base stats are just not fair when some characters can barely hit 20 total on their overall stats. Yeah she's that good. Plus she is one of the 3 characters that can carry 4 items at once! You can do many things with this such as the Caduceus + three 2-stat gems or just fill her up with all these Attack+other stat boosting swords. She also possesses different attribute attacks which is a plus because that means she has coverage and an answer to everything. With Sword/Gun/Bow/Melee attacks, she can hit all attributes for extra damage and Nephilim is amazing because it adds +30 delay and only has 80 delay itself. Her only downside is you get her so late in the game, but once you do, clearing Shambala, optional battles, and the final boss is easy as pie.

latest?cb=20150108051339

Cu Chulainn - As an Illuminati, she's the only spear user that can get 100% critical when wielding Gungnir. Also has well distributed base stats at 7/7/7/14! Her Salmon Piercer can hit the back row even if she's placed in the middle row! But she becomes way better when she's in her Beastial form. The reason is her Spear attacks are now replaced with extremely powerful Melee attacks while still remaining as a Spear Unit. She also jumps to 10/7/8/12 base stat distribution! Even if she's now only at 90% critical chance while in Beastial form with Gungnir, her attacks does so much damage that almost nothing survives it when it does critical especially her Ruin Claw that has 3 x 200% (600%!) damage multiplier. She's a great candidate for Vajra (+50% damage) or any status infliction on critical hit items.

Enkidu-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-5688-193026367

Enkidu - Despite being a Melee unit, she is pretty bulky. She has the best defense buff in the game because it guarantees 0 damage for a row of units from any hit once, no matter how strong it is. She has different types of attacks just like Gilgamesh which makes her attribute coverage so good. She also has a powerful War attack that does 260% x2 (520%) damage for only 90 delay and a Cannon attack for 210% damage. Her passive is quite valuable especially if she's in front of a squishy unit who's also one of your primary damage units.

a-8.png

Jiang Ziya - I like her sprite in the game so I'm posting it so you guys can see. She's part of the Illuminati so as you can expect, she has something worth talking about. Being able to use Supercharged (+5 brave orbs!) and summon Hougai allies that can also use Supercharged means you will no longer worry about Brave ever again. The fact that those Hougai allies can also heal fully and give you Agility +3 buff makes them quite unstoppable too as long as you keep them alive. If you just want her to attack, she has High-Speed Chanting which is my preferred Art attack because of its low delay and she also has a powerful Art Attack that does 3 x 110% damage to 3 targets in a column, more than enough to return the Brave she just spent to cast it PLUS more!

Hercules-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-5688-8974846

Hercules - They made Hercules a lot better in Gold by actually giving her some Defense and Agility and making her actually useful throughout the battle and not just for 1-2 turns. Anything hit by Hercules even with her basic attack will come crying to mommy because of her insane base 15 Attack! I gave her Leaf of Agastya and Laevatein to make her sit at 25 ATK. Because Hero units retain their damage even with reduced HP, the -60% troops from Laevatein doesn't hurt Hercules as much and the fact that even a basic attack can do over 15k damage is good to have especially if there's an annoying front line unit you want to dispose of quickly. Her Head Butt and Gibraltar Crash are capable of doing 30k-50k respectively and if combined with Encourage and/or Expose Weakness, she can do over 100k damage with these attacks!

A Rank - Top Tier - Characters who can hold of well on their own, can become unstoppable with the right items and teammates, or has some utility you cannot get anywhere else!

4758-39090822.jpg

Minamoto Yoshitsune - 7/6/7/3 stat distribution which is quite above average. Like Achilles, becomes really powerful with Futsuno Mitama because her hero attack Yoshitsune Senbonzakura does 10x hit to a row, which results in up to 30 hits total, enough to fill your entire brave gauge if at least 1 target hit doesn't have a type weakness. What's great about her also is most of her attacks can reach rows that normally Sword users can't get to so distance is her forte.

60069.jpg?t=1391616762

Musashibou Benkei - One of the 3 characters with 4 item slots. Like Gilgamesh, this allows her to be built in several ways from damage dealing to tanking. Even with that, her base stats aren't too shabby with 6/8/5/1 spread. She has a wide variety of attack coverage with Spear, War, Melee, and Art (actually random) attacks. Her hero attack does 7 hits to a t-shaped area and has property that inflicts random attributes. Even if most of the randomized attacks don't go in your favor, the fact that it deals 7 hits should net you a decent Brave return regardless.

5688-2039971607.jpg

Masamune Date - Unlike most Melee users, Masamune utilizes raw power vs critical chances. She also takes advantages of pull mechanics with Love Bite to draw in mid and back row units to be slaughtered by other Melee units and knock up with Sogerashi Upper for collision damage if they are in the top column. Her hero attack is particularly useful for self preservation because it heals her troops/negative status and hits up to 5 targets!

4758-1822074393.jpg

Montezuma - LOL. I love this girl. :wahaha: She just hands you a ton of brave in exchange for sacrificing herself, and it's only 1 Brave! 7 Brave orbs is quite a lot and if you have one of those +Brave orb when defeated items, she will give you more. The trick to exploit Montezuma's Sacrificial Altar to the fullest is putting Gullinbursti on her so she will act first. You can give her Used Up Kettle so she can survive from this move and use it again later on! Her entire utility is irreplaceable, and that's why she's up here.

latest?cb=20150108051520

Gawain - She looks gorgeous, especially her adult form. In my opinion, she's the best designed character in this game. Note I'm not basing these tiers on character looks, but I thought I needed to get that out of my chest first. Anyway, her rather interesting playstyle comes from being very adaptable. She has an answer in case there's an enemy who will easily wall/defend her attacks. Her Day (adult) form is usually the best to use in most cases due to Gallatin's power and -2 attack debuff but her Night (child) form grants her an amazing Luck boost (1 base luck now becomes 7!) while giving her more speed due to her Valor passive (+2 speed while on the front) and retaining her attack! Furthermore, her Gringolet hero attack on Night form is a 90% x 5 damage multiplier which eventually adds up to 450% damage and has some range.

latest?cb=20150108050955

Alexander - Actually, I take back what I said about Gawain. Alexander easily claims THE BEST designed character in the game. :pyaa: Look at that heterochromia and dazzling half and half outfit and hairstyle. I love the color choices with her outfit and those brassiere and panties are quite daring! Anyways, with a useful passive Royal like Arthur, a healthy 5/7/9/2 stat distribution, and a handy multi-hit hero attack Hetairoi 6 x 50% damage multiplier against all units hit, she's quite a versatile front line Spear unit. She even gets Heavy Spear Rush, an attack that can interrupt even if the attack does not land critical which is always useful!

421_char9.jpg

Atlas - She can't equip items but she really doesn't need it.... She has 12/14/10/1 base stat anyway! To compliment that high defense stat, she also gets Hyper Barrier, reducing all incoming damage against a row of allies by 1000! She also has a very handy hero attack that hits every enemy and adds +30 delay to them. If that's not enough, she also has access to a cannon attack that hits an entire row for 250% damage. Note that her Purge transformation is useless even if it gets a 600% multiplier hero attack because you are reduced to a 2/3/6/1 base stat unit... Considering she's a Hero unit, it's going to be a pain to heal her back if she gets damaged too much because she can't equip any map recovery items.

5dHVBEH.png

Faust - This girl's hero skill is more than enough to bump her to the Top tier. Walpurgisnacht is so evil, it inflicts the 3 worst status effects in the game: seal (can't use skills), venom (-25% of current HP per turn), grudge (-5 to all stats) and removes boons! It also has a very small delay of 120. She is extremely useful for all the optional boss fights and makes every one of them effortless to do. Her usefulness in regular battles is also acceptable because Grudge/Curse skills are decent ailments for lowering enemies stats and making battles less dangerous. Also none of her spells have wait time, so you can immediately use and enjoy their effects.

4758-462783936.jpg

Beethoven - 7/5/8/2 base stat distribution is pretty decent. That high Speed is great especially being the only Art user that has Performance basic attack. It adds +10 delay to every enemy it hits and it will easily affect the first turn of a battle. Anything hit by this at the beginning is pushed at the very bottom of the turn order (because everyone starts with 0 delay) so you can get rid of those pesky speedy enemies first. Her Symphony of Fate is also a delay inflicting skill that does considerable damage in exchange for raising the enemy's attack by 1. Not too bad if that turn delay means you get 2-3 more hits in to finish off the enemy. Very useful utility I would say.

Protagonist-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-5688-1586

Chihaya - The protagonist's real name. 8/6/7/2 base stats are above average. He is a much better version in Gold with the bad ass red and black color scheme and more versatile skills. His Tsumugari no Tachi hits in a >-shape now vs a full row. There's definitely a lot more applications for this as enemy layouts tend to spread out more. He now also gets a more reliable hero attack that packs some serious power and range. Last but not the least, the major upgrade for him in Gold is that Summon Hero only costs 7 Brave now vs 10 in the original version! This allows him to put any one of your unused allies from your entire roster onto the field without putting you on a very vulnerable situation.

a276dc82.png

Lu Bu - Lu Bu got a major buff in Eiyuu Senki Gold for having Tremendous Lance. This attack can instant kill non-boss flagged enemies. With an 8/7/4/5 base stat spread with a passive that gives her +2 Speed while on the front line, she can take some punishment, inflict some major pain, and keep up in the turn order. She still has the Unparalleled Spear hero attack that boasts a 400% damage multiplier and reduces Agility by 1.

Nero.(Eiyuu.Senki).full.1692633.jpg

Nero - Because Nero is one conceited bitch, let's give her a bigger picture so she can grace us with her so called "magnificence". She is much more offensive oriented in Gold having access to Sparkling Magic which has 40% critical, Tincle Magic that does 3x hits against up to 4 targets and her voice (her hero skill) is so horrendous it inflicts venom and reduces Defense by 1. With an 8/3/7/6 spread, her stats convinces her to running a critical/speed build. All her spells have 0 wait, so you can bombard the enemy with them immediately. Overall, she's easily the best or 2nd best offense-oriented Art unit due to her amazing brave building attacks.

4758-1845583145.jpg

Aristotle - Not sure what Tenco was thinking by making her a Bow unit. Even so, with a 5/9/5/3 base stat distribution, they made it so that she can hold out on her own even as a Bow user. She feels like an Art unit with all her useful buffs and debuffs but having no attacks besides her basic Normal Shot. Expose Weakness is a 2-in-1 debuff that adds delay and inflicts vulnerability (take double damage on next hit). Her Organon hero skill is the best buff in the game because it removes those nasty negative status effects and doubles the damage for all allies in a row!

latest?cb=20150108051006

Alwilda - A War unit that can pull enemies towards her with Octopus Clutch attack? Very useful to be placed on Top tier. War units have issues with range, but that's easily disregarded with her. She has perfect use of Sharul which allows her to interrupt anyone even if the attack doesn't critical, perfect for her Octopus Clutch attack that can reach even the back row units! She also has a high Attack stat so anything she attacks will be in a world of hurt. Also one of the best War type attacks, her hero attack Manannan Mac Lir that has a huge AoE. Her Ringleader passive gives everyone including enemies +1 Attack so use speedy party members if you don't want to take too much damage.

Hlio40g.jpg

Sasaki Kojirou - A well balanced Sword unit with 8/4/8/1 stats and has a passive that adds +2 Defense. Not as good as Ishigawa Goemon, but can put some serious hurt with her collision damage moves. Her Serene Mind can put her at a huge advantage with +2 to all stats and it has no delay! Her hero attack Tsubame Gaeshi has 2 instances to critical at 50% and has 210% power for each hit. If that's not enough, hitting a bottom column unit will suffer major collision damage because of its double knock down effect!

e9a5f0e9403ebc0d75cdcd334bdc9b5e.jpg

Napoleon - The biggest problem with cannon users is they have issues with enemy front row units. Perry's attacks are stronger than Napoleon's, however, what makes Napoleon better than her is she doesn't have friendly fire. Last thing you want to do with Perry is friendly fire someone with Susquehanna Strike because it will usually kill them with that 440% damage multiplier... Napoleon's hero attack is possibly the best one out of all the cannon users because it hits an entire column as well as an entire row of your choice due to its huge cross-shaped targeting radius and also has a decent 30% critical chance! She also has Encourage which gives her or allies double damage, so if by any chance she can't hit something, she can provide a useful buff for someone. She's the last non-hero character you get in the game though so it can be quite hard to appreciate her greatness.

4758-1803906554.jpg

Jeanne d'Arc - Her 6/5/6/8 base stat may look unimpressive but that's the reason why she's good. That high luck stat allows her to get 100% critical chance with Sarnga, Ame no Kagoyumi, and Artemis Bow plus her Penetrating Arrow and La Pucelle Act give 30% and 40% critical respectively. You can use status inflicting on critical items like Kibisis' Satchel or Yasakani no Magatama as well. Being a bow user is a plus because by placing her in the middle row, she can hit everything on the field and be a nasty interrupter for those enemies relying on high damaging moves with wait time. She also has Quick Time buff if needed to give those in her row or in front reduced delay so they can act faster. With her passive giving +2 attack to anyone behind her, she's great to pair up with a cannon user like Napoleon or Kay.

Cook-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-4758-375895856.j

Cook - The gun version of Jeanne d'Arc. 4/7/6/8 base stat and her 2 skills having nice critical chances are screaming at me "Hey, I'm a critical attacker", so that's exactly how she should be used. She can't target as many units at once like Jeanne d'Arc but she hurts like a truck if her Golden Astrolabe nails a critical because it has the same damage multiplier as Zantetsuken: 500% damage! Critical users are just so useful in Eiyuu Senki Gold because they can generate a lot of brave and can get out of control with status infliction and critical damage % items.

4758-1662766166.jpg

Marco Polo - This kuudere is just cold and merciless in battle as she is in the story. She is your best friend in Nightmare and Very Hard Mode because her hero attack Il Millione will generate you lots of money. 9,999'ing all your units in that mode will be a piece of cake. I managed to max out all my troops to 9,999 in less than 150 turns all thanks to her. Her other attacks, Deadly Sting hurts quite a lot and has a 50% critical chance which will be more than enough to 100% with a single Luck item and her Poison Sting can poison so, you can sit back and watch any survivors wither away. She's great to partner up with critical based characters because of her Secrecy (Ally behind +4 Luck) passive.

45870.jpg?t=1359641707

Billy the Kid - Finally a pistol user! Billy is a fast critical based hitter that packs a punch with 7/4/8/5 base stats. Having access to Quick Draw which allows her to shoot the enemy quickly, deal defense ignoring damage with a high 50% critical rate attack Bandits, and barrage something with Shotgun Shell for massive Brave gains. She has it all, well... almost.

4758-1012951183.jpg

Lancelot - Lancelot is quite strong in this game. They made her Aroundight hero skill an attack now instead of a Defense buff. It is quite powerful at 190% x 3 damage multiplier (570% total!) but only hits the enemy 1-2 squares in front of her. Ogre Slash is also fairly cheap 290% damage for only 100 delay! 8/5/7/2 base stats are above average for a Sword unit and she has a way to raise her defense with Spirit's Protection buff that grants an entire row of allies with +2 Defense.

latest?cb=20150108052350

Huayna Capac - This boomerang-using loli has a nasty brave absorbing skill just like Palamedes. It has 50% less delay but costs 1 more brave and has an X-shaped targeting, which has far less applications than Prywen. She has a very useful +2 Attack buff that affects an entire row of allies. Her Eagle Edge can hit up to 4 enemies at once for only 100 delay. She is best placed in the middle row in the middle to give her allies +1 Agility with her passive and have the reach to hit effectively with Eagle Edge and her basic.

B Tier - High Tier - Characters that are still worthy to include in most parties. They may have a utility that can be topped by someone else, but they are still better than most characters nonetheless.

YamatoTakeru.jpg~c200

Yamato Takeru - Eh? What happened? Yamato Takeru is only high tier? She was clearly God tier material back in the original Eiyuu Senki. Well... the main reason is she can only equip 1 item in Gold. Her base stats may be an impressive 10/10/8/1 but just having 1 equipment slot severely limits what she can do. She's not like Atlas where she can tank some hits. Also another issue with her is her passive. It absolutely has no benefit by itself but if there's nobody behind her, she suffers -1 to all stats which is huge! She has a powerful sword attack Blazing Thunder with has 270% damage but the delay is absurd at 190. It's almost pointless to use it unless you can manage to use her other skill Ootari Stance which allows her to act 3 times in a row, ignoring delays of each move. Problem is that move has 100 Wait which is pointless to use if you don't have Treasure Chest item on her. Her TRUE (that's right, she's the original!) Tsumugari no Tachi has no addiitional effects but it guarantees everyone on a row will be hit with 350% damage multiplier.

MPFMY.png

Rasputin - This extreme masochist of an Art unit is not afraid being in the front lines due to her +2 Defense while in the front row passive. This puts her at 11 Defense even without Defense gears! Her Mysticalion heals her row for 330% her Quick Heal amount and gives herself and her allies +1 Defense. She has no problems staying alive even as an Art unit because her Ultra Regeneration has the ability to heal herself fully. Her cheap 2 brave Yusupov Claw can hit a full column of enemies for a multi hit Melee damage; great for Brave gains!

adeb6250.png

Magoroku Kanemoto - Like Sun Tzu, her usefulness comes from granting allies additional brave gains but hers comes in a form of a row buff called Brave Up with a significant 200 delay. It's cheap 2 brave cost though, so it's still something and it stacks on top of Rosetta Stone and Sun Tzu's buff to give up to 100-150% brave gain. She will most likely only use this move only twice or so before the battle finally ends if you don't let the battle drag too long. For her stat worth, it's 6/6/8/1. Very decent Speed to combat Brave Up's delay. She also has Supercharged like Jiang Ziya if needed but Brave Up is just better most of the time.

4758-1141296984.jpg

Kamehameha - Bet you a billion dollars you just thought of Dragon Ball Z after hearing her name. :makina: With 5/6/7/7 base stat and a cheap 2 brave attack with 50% critical, 100 delay and 150% power, she is built as a speedy critical Spear unit. Her Strength buff isn't as good as Huayna Capac's because it's only +1 Attack but it targets 2 more allies if you positioned your party in a cross-shaped. Her hero attack hits every enemy for 250% cannon based damage and lowers their attack. It has an insane 60 wait though, so -wait items are highly recommended.

latest?cb=20150108052648

Teach - Not as good as Billy but has coverage with her different attribute attacks (Gun, Melee, Cannon). When she becomes human, she gains access to a handy pistol attack with a built-in seal effect, allowing you to shut down enemies with a pesky attack or debuff. Her hero attack is particularly useful because it only has 100 delay and being a cannon type, it's a good alternative to use against Melee, Sword, or War units so you don't give your enemy any brave. It knocks down if she's in cat form and knocks up if she's in human, so you can abuse collision damage this way.

latest?cb=20150108051301

Columbus - The most bad ass looking female in Eiyuu Senki and donning an all black dress as if she just came from a funeral, her Anti Material Rifle attack is enough to silence most enemies and send them to THEIR funeral. 2 Brave for 250% damage and being a Gun unit who can effectively take down most types is a boon on the battlefield. Her Egg Barret hero attack is a cannon type as well as her Grenade Shot and both have some AoE. The only thing that's pulling her down from being a Top tier is her very low Speed.

ac20b49fc7ea0d41096b8099456f7235.jpg

Mordred - 8/6/6/2 is a good spread for a spear user such as herself. All her attacks besides her basic are 3x multi hit which allows her to generate tons of brave. Partnered with Sun Tzu and equipped with Rosetta Stone, you will be sitting at max brave gauge all the time. She's easily one of the top 4 best Spear units because of this. Her multi-hit hero attack Clarente has an increased critical chance to further boost brave gains if it criticals to the point that hitting just 1 enemy without hitting a weakness is enough to refill the entire brave gauge.

46b327ccc123b075e73763927073ddf3.jpg

Ywain - "Kick Ass" as Ywain would say. She is a foul-mouthed loli who happens to be my favorite character in the game. Ywain has a few changes in Gold. She loses her Melee Disarrayed Scratch attack in exchange for Edge Grind, an 80% x 3 Throw attack that hits 1 target in front of her and her Bronllafyn got nerfed by adding a 50 wait on it but it now does 2 hits on every enemy hit instead! Buron Ravine is the fastest Throw attack in the game at 50 delay, so equipping her with Sampo or Treasure Chest for that annoying wait time is worth it!

preview-figurine-percival-normal-designe

Percival - DAT ASS THO! Bunny girl is meant to be on middle row, no ifs and buts about it. That Assist passive is way too awesome, giving the unit right in front of her +2 attack! She retains her Dancing Edge and Sequence hero attack (now with upgraded +30% critical) and has been given Vorpal Edge, a 280% multiplier attack that has 80% critical!!! Funny that despite all these attacks with critical chances, her base stats are at 7/6/8/1... so you will need to invest on some Luck gear if you want to make good use of her attacks.

CGD2-26488.jpg

Arthur - The true main heroine of the original Eiyuu Senki (in my opinion). She still keeps her impressive 8/7/7/1 base stats and her long ranged Magic Sword Affection sword attack and Excalibur with a 340% multiplier upgrade and -1 to all stats to every enemy that gets hit. Instead of a heal skill, she has a +1 to all stat buff with very low delay and also a neat Sword Attack called Cursed Sword that doesn't allow you or the enemy to get any brave gains. Very useful when hitting something that is weak to Sword! Her passive is now Royal which grants anyone behind her +1 attack!

5688-178082426.jpg

Ivan Groznyi - Ivan the Terrible is your go-to character if you like to paralyze (+20 delay on the next move) your enemies because 3 out of the 4 skills she has inflicts this ailment. With a healthy 5/7/9/1 base stat, she can act quite often despite her moves having some large delays. Her basic attack is a long 150 delay Magic Sword attack that can paralyze and her hero attack Groza is a multi-hitting Spear attribute attack that also paralyzes. Piercing Magic Sword can hit an entire column for only 2 brave. Her passive Terror inflicts -1 Defense to an entire row of enemies as long as she's in the front row which is always a plus.

4758-997061253.jpg

Galahad - One of Arthur's right hand knights, she specializes in Defense with 7/8/6/1 base stats. Her Ice Barrier skill is not as good as Atlas' because it's only a 1 time 1,000 damage reduction. Her hero attack Ice Sword is very valuable though because it reduces Defense by 2 and that's always a good thing if you want battles to end quicker. She also has a cheap War attack Shield Bash that has knock back and adds 20 delay to the enemy it hits.

d7e4ccec.png

Qin Shi Huang - Bulky and speedy Sword unit with 4/8/7/3 base stats who can poison up to 3 enemies at once and debuff agility by 1 with one of her Brave attacks. However, her usefulness comes from her amazing hero skill that summons a 10,000 HP unit with 5/8/5/2 base stats and several sword attacks: Sonic Boom, Buster Attack and Slash Zapper. The fact that it's 2 Brave cheaper than Chihaya's Summon Hero and has the same delay makes it "good enough".

4758-692157685.jpg

Hammourabi - Eye to Eye is the strongest Art Attack in the game when Hammourabi is sitting at 1 HP: It gets a 990% damage multiplier!!! This is possible all thanks to Used Up Kettle. With Brisingamen and Book of the Dead, you can do unreal damages with this attack against up to 5 unfortunate enemies. Now, the problem is her wait time. Because Eye to Eye has an annoying 50 wait as well as her 2nd strongest Art which is Grand Cross, with Used Up Kettle, you might need to sacrifice one of the damage boosting items mentioned above to give way for Sampo (-50 Wait) or Treasure Chest (1 time, 0 wait) if you prefer to instant cast this spell. Also Hammourabi has a 9/6/4/2 base stat spread, so she can't really use her attacks often with that piss poor Speed stat, so you better make each one count.

latest?cb=20150108051537

Geronimo - I love that 2nd form of hers. Too bad she's just way too glass-cannon'ish. With an 8/2/8/3 base on normal form and 10/1/10/2 on Eagle Paint form, her perk is outspeeding the enemy and hitting them hard. She gains access to Berserk which is an all-or-nothing skill that doubles her damage in exchange for taking double damage. Being on the front row gives her +4 Luck or 20% more critical, so you can actually give her some Luck gear. Her Eagle Paint form gives her a 550% multiplier hero attack that hits the target in front of her. I personally prefer her normal form's Hero attack Wild War Cry because it does 360% damage against 3 targets and she has a Tomahawk Throw attack that allows her to hit from a distance with Throw attribute damage.

4758-297722793.jpg

Oda Nobunaga - The problem with most gun users is they are forced to be placed in the front row if you want to utilize their passive skills. Oda is no different except she will suffer from it if she gets hit due to her crappy 4 Defense... Also her Triple Shot and Beelzebub have an unreal 50 wait time, hence it forces you to equip her with Sampo or Treasure Chest if you want to utilize those attacks without getting interrupted.

a-53.png

Kay - I was wondering if there are more of these Knights of the Round in this tier. Also, I'm posting her sprite just so you guys can see how absurd her weapon is. Kay is O'Kay if you can spare your Wait reduction items on her. With Supercharge (double the damage of next attack) having 0 delay, using it guarantees that when its long 60 wait time is over, she will be able to use an attack right after, which will hit for a lot of damage. Use Atomic Ray instead of her basic attack if you want to see her power.

latest?cb=20150108052709

Tutankhamun - Unfortunately she starts off every battle not as this beautiful Egyptian girl you see over at the left but the ugly gold sarcophagus on the right.... with 3/9/5/4 crappy base stats. Unfortunately, there's no event to make her get out of that state, so you will have to waste 2 Brave to "unseal" her to her more useful version. However, this Egyptian bare beauty packs an amazing 7/7/8/2 base stat with a useful Sanctuary AoE heal skill, High-speed Chanting basic attack (awesome!), Ammon Flare that inflicts Paralysis and her hero attack Pharaoh's Curse that inflicts.....you guessed it! Curse!

907b2c96e8446e94c281212e62dcd772.jpg

Kublai Khan - With a fairly nice +2 Defense passive to anyone in front of her, 2 of her brave attacks only costs 2 brave, and well distributed stats at 7/5/8/3, she has the makings of a great Bow unit. Rukh Wing is only a 120 delay Bow attack that hits up to 5 units in a cross-shaped range. Her Area Shot hits up to 3 targets at once which rebates the 2 brave she just spent on it plus more. Even though none of her attacks have critical chances, the fact that she can hit many units at once like Jeanne d'Arc is more than enough to sneak her into High tier.

Xuanzang.(Eiyuu.Senki).full.1692658.jpg

Xuanzang - A War unit with strong moves having no wait time? Awesome! Her Low Hit has 210% power and can knock down for collision damage. Head Butt is slightly stronger at 290% power and adds +30 delay. She also has a very useful hero skill that inflicts seal on every enemy surrounding the primary target, which means she's best position in the front row in the middle to seal the most enemies possible. Now if only she had more than 5 base speed, she would be on Top tier.

latest?cb=20150108051127

Bedivere - "Rocket Punch" girl of the Knights of Round may be small but she can take out back row threats in a single attack, something that most Melee units can't do! 9/6/4/4 may look unimpressive at first but she makes great use of that high attack stat with her power no-wait time Hammer Hook and Screw Blow attacks and Carnwenhan has amazing range, a very low 80 delay, and hits the target like a truck for a massive 500% multiplier. It also knocks back for collision damage if you decide to hit those enemy back row units. Her Fighting Spirit passive gives allies beside her +1 Defense which makes her ideal to pair up with 2 tanky characters. Overall, a strong Melee character who doesn't need critical chances to deal damage.

422_char32.jpg

Charlemagne - The other character besides Balin that has access to Eruptive Saber and she's not a Sword user! Unlike Balin, Charlemagne has Melee attacks and both of them are fairly useful. Venom Claw applies Venom which is an amazing ailment that puts a timer on your enemy and sucks in 25% of their HP per turn and Heat Scratch, a cheap 2 brave attack with low delay and does 2 hits. Her most useful attack however comes from Chrismation, because it absorbs Brave and also applies +30 delay! This sort of 2-in-1 utility is very rare to find and hence she can easily be fitted to most teams.

C Tier - Mid Tier - Average characters whose existence can be replaced by someone else. They aren't the worst of the worst, so if you like some characters here, go ahead and use them.

5688-1466391828.jpg

Cleopatra - 6/4/7/8 base stats is too obvious; she's a critical oriented character. Unfortunately none of her skills add any critical chances, so you will have to rely on Luck gears for that. 2 of her attacks including her Hero attack inflict poison and also a +30 delay. Her passive grants +2 luck to allies on her side, so she's great to partner up with critical based characters.

latest?cb=20150108051242

Cambyses - Cat girl pharaoh is sitting at 3/6/8/7 base stats. With that unnecessary high Luck, the rest of her stats suffers. She doesn't have any useful attacks but her Neko Barrier is very useful for making your main damage dealer/s "hidden" for a while against enemy attacks by lowering their volatile hate to 0% (volatile hate is built up by producing damage, making enemies target characters inflicting the most damage more often). She also has a cheap 1 brave attack Neko Punch that can interrupt even if it doesn't critical. Her hero attack Large Neko March only has 80 delay and is Art attribute; solid for brave gains!

latest?cb=20150108051049

Ashoka - Posting her censored version because normally, she is naked with her nipples exposed! 8/5/6/3 is below average by my standards if you are comparing Throw units who are either very bulky or very speedy. She is a good source for spreading Curse ailment on enemies though so she is still somewhat useful. She has a transformation mode that makes her a lot more glass-cannon, but it comes with an awesome Defense debuff skill and a different targeting Ashoka Pillar for those enemies that you normally can't hit with her other version's. Both hero attacks still hurt like a truck at 400% damage. Only thing I don't like with Evil Ashoka is her passive becomes Discernment, which is a -1 All on the enemy in front of her but requires her to be in the front line.

4758-192372075.jpg

Hannibal - Hannibal used to be a Sword unit back in the original Eiyuu Senki but I like this change, although, I'm not a fan of characters who have a single attribute across all their attacks. Lacking coverage is a disadvantage especially if you're a War unit. Such is the build for Hannibal. 2 of the moves, her Giant Stomp and War Elephant Rush also have wait times. At least the latter only has 100 delay which is perfect to use over and over again once you have a nice brave gauge built up and can get rid of that annoying 50 wait time.

4758-477128149.jpg

Vlad - Dracula suffers from "weak moves" syndrome. Other than her move named after herself, her other 2 attacks are garbage. Skewer only does 70% damage and Poison Sting is a Melee attack but not really meant for damaging. Kind of a waste when she's sitting at 8/5/6/4 base stat with that high Attack. Her only redeeming quality is her passive which is a -4 Luck effect on enemy in front of her when she's in the front row and the coolest looking hero attack in the game, Dracula that has serious 350% power, hits up to 5 enemies, and inflicts curse.

ny6AVE7.jpg

Drake - 8/6/6/3 base stats, not bad at all! Whether she's placed in the middle row or front row, her hero attack El Drako will hit a lot of targets, up to 6 for 300% damage! She also has a cheap source of +50 delay debuff Maelstrom. With her having a lot attack already, it's safe to invest in this stat to make El Drako hurt a lot more. Other that that, there's not much to say. She's just slightly above average.

8711852116a78b1f713b2d1d7e7cfd91.jpg

Tristan - Tristan is the most average Bow unit you will ever find. Being the only unit with 0 base Luck, her usefulness comes from her other stats at 8/6/7 although having no Luck at all goes against what being a great Bow unit is... Her only brave Bow attack (Pinpoint Shot) is great if you can find an enemy standing on the middle of the enemy's side of the field but most of the time, it's situational.  She has Spear coverage on hero skill which lowers Luck by 2 in a straight line.

5688-990469143.jpg

Bors - Bors is like a paladin of the Knights of Round. With 6/8/6/2 base stat, she is pretty bulky for a War unit. She doesn't have any other attacks besides her basic attack and her Courechouse hero attack which is extremely weak at 260% damage multiplier only. She does have Healing Aura which is a much stronger heal skill than Himiko's Healing and also Expose Weakness like Aristotle which inflicts vulnerability. She's the only War unit that almost plays like a support character, which isn't bad, but just not effective in most cases. At least her passive is useful because it gives +2 attack to the person behind her.

latest?cb=20150109030652

Hazakura Seiso - Majikoi's Seiso in Haou/Lu Bu mode... nice! She has a really powerful hero attack Batsuzan Gaisei that can hit every enemy and add +30 delay on them if she's in the middle of the middle row but it has a 50 wait. Thrusting Tornado is faster and cheaper if you are just aiming to take down for 1-2 enemies. Her an amazing Military passive that grants all front liners +1 Attack! Now why is she on this tier? She can only carry 1 item like Takeru but her 8/7/7/1 stat distribution is just hard to work on with that huge limitation.

422_char42.jpg

Miyamoto Musashi - 6/9/5/1 base stats are nice. A tanky version of Kojirou but that low Speed is just disappointing. Gets a +2 Attack while in front passive. Her hero attack Heaven Beheading has a weird alternating range pattern and it's hard to consistently hit enemies with it, but it does inflict Curse and Paralysis and does 2 hits; fairly useful for brave gains. Her other skills include Rumors which also has a rather silly range but can hit 3 enemies at once for +50 delay and Two Step Cut, a double-hit attack for a small 90 delay.  Heaven Beheading just having obnoxious targeting zones that don't give you much freedom to target stuff you want and her very low speed is what puts her in this tier.

422_char7.jpg

Balin - Being able to hit 3 things at once with Eruptive Saber is quite awesome especially when Sun Tzu is present. With 9/4/7/2 base stats, she looks solid for a Sword unit except there are several problems problem. She doesn't have Sword attribute attacks plus her attacks have some huge delay values. Her Eruptive Saber may be free but 130 delay for a basic attack is just way too high. Don't even bother with Dolorous Stroke because that one's 200 delay. Her hero attack Cenferchyn is extremely weak with only 210% power and has friendly fire! The friendly fire may work in your favor if it hits an ally not weak to Cannon damage, but it will still hurt due to Balin's very high attack. And if you decide to use Berserk before that, allies hit with this move will most likely die.

William%20Kidd-from-Eiyuu%20Senki-4758-1

William Kidd - I thought Monkey D Luffy is the next pirate king? Apparently, William Kidd is in this game. Her passive is fairly useful against front row tanks giving the person in front of her +2 Defense. Her attacks have fairly low delay, with her Agility buff and her hero attack Treasure Island sitting at only 80 delay. Treasure Island fills brave gauge quite fast and being a Melee attack, it's good to hit Sword enemy units with. Her stat distribution 6/5/8/4 base is good to compliment her low delay making her a fairly decent brave generator. My only major gripe with her is she doesn't produce enough damage.

5688-132017064.jpg

Caesar - A full support Spear Unit. Other than her basic, the rest of her skills are support moves. Military Buildup allows any row to become stronger offensively and defensively with +1 Attack/Defense. Quick Charge is quite lackluster when Jiang Ziya and Kanemoto have Supercharged which grants +50 brave. Her hero skill Aria is an all-or-nothing random buff or debuff on everyone. I've seen it inflict -5 All which is good if it lands on the enemy but terrible if it affects an ally. I avoid using it because I don't like relying on too much Luck in a strategy game like this. The only thing that's preventing her from descending to Low tier is her solid base stats sitting at 5/8/7/2 and very useful Virtue passive that lowers all enemies's attack when she's in the front row by 1.

5688-1096563797.jpg

Perry - I love her decent 8/3/7/4 base stats and epic Engrish way of talking but I'm not a fan of her overall because of the friendly fire. Susquehanna Strike will most likely kill any ally hit by it because of that insane 440% power. It has a weird downward right diagonal targeting range too in which you will be lucky to even hit more than 1 unit with it. Her only useful attack is Napalm Cannon but only if you can dispose of its ugly 50 wait. At least she doesn't have issues targeting enemies on the field like Napoleon.

D Tier - Low Tier - Characters that are just weak and feel disadvantageous when used on the field. They are lacking several combat effective elements to make them useful in the long run and the brutal nature of Very Hard/Nightmare mode will constantly pressure them. They can't function well by themselves.

4758-128962800.jpg

Inou Tadataka - Turn delay is great if you have several other characters (at least 4 of them) doing it. But if you are only getting it from a single character like Inou Tadataka who may have the speed to pull it off but lacks the killing speed then it's futile. Also, you probably don't want to keep the battle dragging too long especially on Very Hard/Nightmare mode because taking too many turns affects your battle grade. Earth Movement is great for moving around but the fact that it only works on Tadataka is a little disappointing. It would have been useful if you could target allies especially Gun units with it and reposition them. Her hero attack may have an awesome +80 delay and -1 to all stats effect, it's a 250 delay move that only affects 1 enemy.

422_char2.jpg

Abe no Seimei - An Art user that's very offensively built. I can see where her power is coming from... *looks at those massive breasts* With an 8/7/5/2 base stat distribution, she can put a nice "dent" anything she hits but there are some issues. She has a 150 delay basic attack. Even with 130% multiplier, Art attacks have no type advantages and are not meant for damaging. Unless your name is Hammourabi who can get an insane 990% attack, Art users are not meant for killing enemies but building brave. Her other attacks have 210% and 300% multiplier respectively. And that's another issue with Seimei: Even if her attacks have some high damage multipliers, her attacks are all single hit. Factor in her low speed and wait time on a couple of her spells including her 50 wait Ghost Parade, she really doesn't do as much in helping others.

5688-1418423694.jpg

Copernicus - I like those planet earrings. Where can I buy them, Copernicus? That's really all I can find to praise her. She's a full support Art unit and that's a problem in my books. Having no cheap source of attacks including a basic attack, she is forced to use her support skills with high delay: Quick Heal with 130 delay, Quick Time with 180 delay and Divine Protection with 180 delay! Her only attack is her hero attack Heavenly Sphere. It packs a 420% power with seal effect but only targets 1 enemy. Not that great outside of optional boss fights and the fact that's it's 5 brave is a downer. I'd rather spend that on something even more useful like Faust's Walpurgisnacht.

Himiko.(Eiyuu.Senki).full.1688509.jpg

Himiko - The self proclaimed "true heroine" of the original Eiyuu Senki, she's the first healer unit you get in both games. You see the trend here? Outside of Rasputin and Tutankhamun who can still function outside of their healer roles, Healing Art units are just bad in general. I can slightly put her above Copernicus if I had to reevaluate their Very Hard/Nightmare mode performance but the fact that her best heals pack 180 and 250 delay respectively (absurd!) and having the crappiest basic attack for an Art user (the 130%/150 delay one), it still won't be enough to put her higher than Low tier...

4758-1578717225.png

Nostradamus - This rather charming loli who writes doujins for a living has an awesome debuff that lowers a row of enemies' attack and defense by 1 and also has Maelstrom like Drake. She's perfect for turn-delay team but like the reason I provided with Inou Tadataka, dragging a battle far too long is bad in this game especially in higher difficulties. Her Book of the Future hero skill puts everyone on top of the turn order which may sound awesome but it's just way too situational in most cases and has 320 delay.... which means she will most likely not see herself getting a turn for the rest of the battle.

5524-839743004.jpg

Merlin - This fuzzy furball has no attacks and has 0/8/8/1 base stats! It's pointless to put anything else on her other than maybe +Agility gems and immunity items. Only thing that's great about Merlin is she has the 2nd best passive skill because it gives everyone in front of her (up to 2 rows!) +1 Defense and her hero skill is only a 4 brave skill that gives double turns for any ally, All+3 and halves damage for 1 turn. She has Yell that gives All+1 for someone in 1 turn, but it's just rather inefficient because non-attacks don't give any brave at all and All+1 that only lasts for a turn is hard to make use of. She has a reposition skill that helps rifle and beam cannon users hit specific enemies. That's good and all but just lacking any ways to attack doesn't help the party when the mid-late game is about brave control and acquisition!

422_char37.jpg

Magellan - My least favorite cannon user. Has no way of hitting front row units besides anyone directly in front of her outside of her Magellan Nebula with absurd 50 wait and Global Ball that has a silly 15 wait time and a Throw attribute, which means giving unnecessary brave when hitting Melee and War units because it does 3 hits! Her stats are kinda pointless with 6/8/5/2 because cannon users don't need that much Defense because they are meant for the back row and only ones that can reach them are front row Spear units, Rifle units, Art units that are in front/mid row and other Cannon users. The only thing that's great about her is her hero attack which packs some massive 420% multiplier, more than enough to kill most Art/Spear/Throw units.

1f717053.png

Archimedes - A girl wearing only a bathtowel with 5/8/6/3 base stat is not helping her case. She has a terrible Forecast passive that forces her to be in the front line if you want to utilize its effect. She may have different attribute attacks (Bow, Throw, War) but it doesn't help that her hero attack has 30 wait and odd cross shaped targeting (which means she can't hit some targets that normally Bow units have no issues hitting) and her Throw attack Trebuched has 40 wait and 180 delay.

5688-1670122301.jpg

Galileo - What the heck is up with these characters meant to be on the backrow having a terrible passive like Forecast!? Galileo is the same case as Archimedes except she's worse. Being a Beam Cannon unit with 6/8/6/2 base stats puts her on a significant disadvantage of not being able to get enough turns. Unlike Kay, she has no way of effectively hitting enemies outside of her column. Her Flash Bang has a pathetic 40% power that can hit up to 3 enemies for +30 delay but it has 150 delay itself! Her Agility debuff has an unnecessary 15 wait and her Epsilon Move is the only worthwhile thing going for her because it can grant up to 2 units double action buff, but it's targeting range forces her to be in the back to utilize it, which means her passive Forecast is now useless if you do that.

003a072ed9c501a54fa161edd525a4f4.jpg

Diogenes - 4/7/9/1 stat distribution looks decent but there's a problem. Her passive is a double-edged sword. Losing -2 Luck for +2 attack when you have someone like Percival who has Assist passive without that Luck penalty is not worth it. Her attacks are a mixed bag also. Her Catapult Swing hurts for a lot but it has 50 wait, so you may need to put Sampo or Treasure Chest on her for that. Plus her Attack stat is so low that in the end, it's probably not worth it. Her Cynosarges has an alternating targeting pattern like Musashi's Heaven Beheading and Tutankhamun's Pharaoh's Curse except it doesn't do anything else but knock the enemy up for collision damage.

5688-1080869640.jpg

Marie Antoinette - Now, why would this precious ojou-sama be in this tier even when she can hold 4 items? Her 4/6/5/9 base stats are just so poor that even putting the best items on her won't make her good. Her best attack Guillotine Cut may have 310% damage and 30% critical but has a silly 40 wait and her buff skill grants Luck +2 but only for her and surrounding allies. She does have Brioche though and it applies Berserk on 3 enemies (same Berserk effect as Geronimo).

lol the amount of characters in this vn, I have trouble to follow vns like f/sn sometimes and yet this is just in a whole new level xD amazing how every single one is voiced

Huh. I normally don't like sprawling harem(?) rpg's but this looks really good, lot of epic/pleasing character designs. Everyone's based off historical and mythological figures lol, I'm lost in the novelty of it all.

Yah every character, heroines or antagonists are based on real life figures/myths. Heck, even Illuminati exists in this game. You know the game will be awesome when ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED.

The original Eiyuu Senki has already been translated like 2 months ago. It's worth playing if you are new to the series. It's also the more superior game out of the 2 if you like some story (Eiyuu Senki Gold's story is worse).

To the surprise of no one, almost all of the Ancient(?) Heroes made it into the S rank.

What i am surprised at is that my favorite party of Masamune, Goemon, Colombus, and Kay made it into such a high rank. Good for them :sachi:

Well, sub stories wise, the Heroines story and the many side stories are much more interesting than the original IMO.

Partly because there's no 'Main' Heroine for gold, allowing everyone to be a main heroine

Spoiler

Poor Tristain tho ;_;

Yeah. Ancient Heroes/Illuminati are all great. They have roles that nobody else can do especially Achilles, Siegfried, Gilgamesh, and Hercules. I managed to beat the final boss without it ever getting a single turn thanks to Achilles + Dagda Mace setup, had Siegfried clear an several battles of Shambala by herself, and that annoying boss Angolmois in Nostradamus sidequest that constantly summons minions, I shut that thing down with Gilgamesh and Hercules because they were 1-shotting all of them. Only Takeru got shafted because of that 1 item limitation and worthless passive.

Also I was referring to the main story arc. Nyarlathotep and Mu were much more intimidating antagonists than Hughes de Payens and Pandora. Like just to get to them, you have to beat all these overpowered God enemies and go through several places and different strategies. Gold didn't have that kind of tension.... whatsoever. The sidestories for each heroine no doubt are better in Gold though just because you get to know and get closer to everyone for at least 3 events.

And poor Tristan indeed, even her bad luck prevents her from getting an H-scene. LOL

imo: it could be better if the order of character is worst to best i think(?)

also it is the same in the original?

thanks

Gold is like an alternate universe like what Hyperdimension Neptunia does with its games. No sequel connection whatsoever. Only difference is Gold's "main" heroine is Date Masamune and original is "Himiko". Also gold is kinda like an expansion too because it has a better battle system, more items and synthesis, and more characters.

Just want to add that Aristotle's Organon actually ALSO gives +1 ALL stats (for the whole battle not just 1 turn like merlin's) on top of double damage buff and negative effect debuff, truly the best support skill ever.

I'm playing the original game in pc with the last complete patch. And i ended overhear while i was looking for something. I have to say that i agree that normally Abe no Semei and Nostradamus don't look extraordinary but one of them can be incredible cost-efective unit in the game, a decent damage dealer and a brave generator all at the same time!

You only need to give Semei or Nostradamus something like the rosette stone (+2 brave every turn) and some item that increase the damage like, Futsumitama (+1000 damage) Then by using Grand cross (cost 2 brave) you can make the girl a pretty decent damage dealer hitting up to 5 units for "free" brave and, at the same time thanks to be using magic, you can also get a good amount of brave in the process.  Nostradamus has higher speed so it may be better since she'll take, but Semei has more ofensive spells that can be used in it's place acording to the needs.

I don't agree with some of the character tiers. I use mostly speedy characters and characters with good passive trait.

Gawain is the best character equipped with Emerald Tablet, Sampo Stone, and Lia Fail. She can solo most missions without taking any damage with her infinite turn exploit. Paired with weaker characters with good passive trait and she can beat any mission perfect but Shambhala 6-5.

I don't Agree with some of the character tiers, since its depending on who we are fighting against.

In my opinion, copernicus and himiko are not that bad, useful for supporting ancient heroes and keeping their hp full since they can kill enemies on their own, that make them so good, plus copernicus passive gives +2 attack! full support unit, can't be any better.

Kublai Khan should be God Tiers for me, my favorite bow character in game, i use her with seimei and marcopolo, with 2 bow item (+7 luck) and critical inflict seal plus curse, she has 20 luck which is 100% crit, even without that she is alr so great. almost guaranteed to give +brave points (its bow type attack after all, only when fighting art type enemies brave wont be generated) and guaranteed to inflict curse and seal to enemies. cant expect her to be better.

Your God Tiers , i agree most of them especially achilles and gilgamesh, because they're just THAT broken. Tho for me hercules is still no-go, rarely used her, atlas is far better with orichalcum punch since it hit all enemies + gives delay, low delay (only 80) with her high agi and atk, easy to wipe out enemies, more deserving of god tier rather than slow hercules. And tho i know sigfried deserves god tier i just don't like her. her best point is only defense to the point of almost immortality, but i prefer to wipe out enemies as fast as i can, that's why the way i play could be little different than others.

Sad on drake since she's useless here, while for me she's definitely God Tiers in original game, she's just that good, now her el draco got nerfed so bad i'm crying for it.

For me Arthur and Rasputin Deserve A Rank, arthur should be better, but since she's nerfed here compared to original game, i rarely use her here as well. Tho i haven't played nightmare mode in Gold, but already did in original game of eiyuu senki. Achilles is the most broken in both game, i'm sure of it with the second being gilgamesh.

Amazing guide, my man!

Is there any other guide for what items go best with what character?! I'm kinda confused at that part!
