    By Kaguya

Introduction   Welcome, fellow Fuwamembers, to the FuwaRecognition thread. Starting this March, we’ll be highlighting some of the best contributions made by our members each month. From snazzy blog articles to delicious forum threads, and perhaps even a few things more on the shitpost part of the spectrum, we'll keep an eye out for the cream of the crop. And then we'll gather them here. Just for you.   *holds up giant APPLAUSE sign*   A-hem, so this is the f

Sanctuary of Refrain: Coven of Dusk Review

For this week title, since we have've about to have Kanojo no Seiiki release, I figure I make a parody based on a RPG. Said RPG is Labyrinth of Refrain: Coven of Dusk, and I changed 'Labyrinth' into 'Sanctuary', so we have 'Sanctuary of Refrain: Coven of Dusk' as the title. For the info, while Sekai chose to localize 'seiiki' as 'Special Place', the most common translation of it would be 'Sanctuary'. The reason on why I chose to make parody of Labyrinth of Refrain is because we have Eri Sendai v

Muscular Blue-Collar Worker Review

Welcome to this week VNTS Review. As for this week, well compared to the last week I think this time we have more updates than release, although some of the updates can be said as interesting one, especially with one of the updates is that Sekai finally starting the translation work on Parfait Remake. Other than that, there's also Walkure Romanze update from fan translation along with several other fan translation updates. Overall, this week is an average one, and let's see what I can write in r

Anime of the Year 2004-III Summer - Gantz 2nd Stage

Anime of the Year 2004-II Spring - Gantz

Gantz is the anime I truly love with all its weak sides. Samurai Champloo and Appleseed (Movie) should be noticed as well.   1. Samurai Champloo サムライチャンプルー  [Manglobe] (Finished 26/26) Tags: Historical, Samurai Action, Adventure, Comedy Fuu Kasumi is a young and clumsy waitress who spends her days peacefully working in a small teahouse. A Record of Revolution Review

Welcome to this week VNTS Review. For the title because we have Rance IX release with the gameplay resembled Mamatoto (So much that we can say that Alicesoft did remake Mamatoto through Rance IX), I decided to make a parody of Mamatoto's subtitle 'A Record of War' by changing 'War' with 'Revolution' (The subtitle Rance IX is The Helmanian Revolution) so we have 'A Record of Revolution' as this week title. For this week, compared to the last week I can say that this is an eventful one, obviously

Enbizaka Escar Review

Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title I'll elaborate it on PS later. This week we have Mirai Radio release by Nekonyan, which as we know it's been previously licensed by Sol Press. Other than that, we also have yet another nukige release by Cherry Kiss. Lastly, we still have several updates from fan translation, with the most notable one is the rough patch release for Shin Koihime Musou. The Sub-Heroine Route – An Anatomy of Visual Novels

This is a condensed version of the full article which can be found on my Main Blog Here.   She Was Always Right Beside Me   A story always has its heroes and heroines, defining characters who shapes the narrative and break out of the normal to change the world around them. These are the people who the player remembers long after they have put the game down and are the focus of a developer's time and effort. But what about the supporting cast? The men and women who stand bello

Anime of the Year 2004-I Winter - Interlude

Among three titles with score of 9 only Interlude is a new title, so it takes the upper hand over sequels Koukaku Kidoutai: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG and Innocence , plus there's this great little series Mousou Dairinin that deserves a mention.    1. Mousou Dairinin Paranoia Agent 妄想代理人 [Madhouse] (Finished 13/13) Tags: Detective, Psychological Avant Garde, Drama, Mystery, Supernatu

Open guides to the KiriKiri(2/Z) ecosystem and text formatting in such games

I've spent some time in the guts of some KrKrZ games. I've learned many things the hard way, including some things I could've just looked up in a manual if I wasn't such a reverse engineer by heart that I never thought to even look for a manual. Anyway, some time back in what must've been a semi-hallucinatory fever state, I wrote two little guides to share some very basic stuff I know, in a structured manner. Both of these guides are available on the pantsudev organization's Github, pu

Lorena and the Rose of Ruins Review

Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Lorena and the Land of Ruins (Nekonyan's first non-VN license) had Steam store for it (The link to the store) finally opened, I'd make a change in the full title by changing 'Land' into 'Rose', so we have 'Lorena and the Rose of Ruins' as the title. The reason for the 'rose' word is because we have Beta Sixdouze release with the setting is that the word was threatened by a mysterious gigantic alien rose, which would be apt to call it as 'Rose o
