Nekopara is originally a Japanese work, so some words and sentences could end up becoming garbled or lost in translation if you're translating it from another language other than Japanese. It's always the best option to translate from the original Japanese source, as to keep wording accurate. Also, don't plan on doing translation projects yourself unless you know you have the skill in programming. If you don't, finding someone with that skill is rather difficult even on here, because users like to translate VNs when they feel like it. I'm not saying you won't get help, but only if the others feel like helping you out. oh.. okay! thanks for your help and your time

It's one of the most used VN engines around. I do agree with translating from anything not Japanese to English. You should do what he said if you can help it, but if this more so a learning process, you might also want to try looking into the Japanese dialogue, as Nekopara shows both the English and Japanese dialogue at the same time. Zakamutt
One of the problems with translating from English vol.1 is that the tl was pretty sketchy, unless they revised it after the full release or something lol.
