notom
I was wondering if there was any sort of visual novel series that existed where the first novel is pretty much run of the mill same ol same ol, but the second was different. It detects who you ended up with in the first novel, and have them come up as your parents in the 2nd novel. You play as your 1st game couple's kid, basically. Of course, if you never played the first one, you just get placed with the "true" route parents or something. Does something like that even exist? Or something similar? firecat
there very rare to find since most vn end the story with little detail or full story. i recommend looking somewhere like microsoft or big companies, something like detect might cost a lot of money to develop for its servers. Deep Blue
the only thing i can think of like Emries said is agarest which basically is about that but not just 1 family but generations
WinterfuryZX
GRowlanser V and VI does something like that, but they are definitely NOT VNs. Man... I just found out growlanser iv returns (the VN fandisk) is not listed on vndb...
Clephas
Phantasy Star III, lol But really, that isn't something that is easy to find anywhere. There are a few VN series where kids of the canonical parents will be heroines or protagonists of the new VN, but you don't see that kind of game-to-game inheritance in VNs that often. storyteller
Also pretty feel-bad to have restricted access for not owning the previous game.
The Striker
Wow, you are asking for something very rare .... but I think I've seen it before
notom
I think I found a more realistic fix in the Da Capo series. Apparently, the 1st game's protag is a relative of the 2nd games heroine or something.
